Been so busy with graduation and birthdays and family in from out of town ... whew. It's over. But I did snag a decent deal to replenish my rice supply.
Publix has Uncle Ben rice on sale, bogof. $1.49 for 2 boxes. Go to the unclebens.com, print off the $1 off 2 and you can get your rice for 25 cents a box. PS-there are 2 coupons and each can be printed 2 times.

Hmm. Where are all the couponers??
My tip for this week (in addition to the other one) ... keep an eye out for peelies & displays at the store. I found a great coupon, free bananas (up to $1) with purchase of the new green hefty bags. Priced at $1.85 (it's the new veg/fruit bags) and then there was $1.00 off any Hefty one zip. So for 85 cents, I got bananas and bags. Woohoo!

Thansk for the great post Jan. You are right about finding point of sale coupons, there are some good ones out there. I've been so busy with my new job at the Sun Sentinel, doesn't give me any time to blog during the work day. I'm on the computer at midnight, so Coupon Chaos has not gotten much front page real estate. Folks need to be reminded to come here, I guess. Where are you.....strategic shoppers?

Heads up - disappointing news to me anyways. Publix will no longer accept GFS coupons either. They are only taking Winn Dixie & Albertsons. Had I known that beforehand I would not have had a cart of $75 groceries ($10 off $75 from GFS) ... and I also made a complaint to manager about the cashier. Gave her coupons FIRST and she still insisted on pulling stuff out of bags to verify (by the way, out of pocket was $36 without my $10 off) grrr...
