12th Annual Book Sale at Nova Southeastern starts Thursday Sept 24th


Deals on pre-owned textbooks, fiction and nonfiction hardcover and paperbacks, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, and video cassettes will be available at the 12th Semi-Annual Used Book Sale, hosted at Nova Southeastern University’s Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center on the university’s main campus at 3301 College Ave. in Davie.

Come find a new favorite, with prices to satisfy any budget. Remember, the sale only happens twice a year, so arrive early for the best selection. Sale items will be on display in the Atrium and in Room 2053 during the following times:

* Thursday, Sept. 24 from 12 to 6 p.m.
* Friday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
* Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Accepted payment will be cash and checks only. An ATM is located near the library café, on the first floor. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Alvin Sherman Library.

If you are interested in donating items to the library, please send them to the Collection Development Department at the Alvin Sherman Library or drop them off at the Circulation Department on the first floor.
