$5 off $25 printable coupon for Walgreens: Good Tuesday & Wednesday
Thanks Sandy for giving me the heads up on the $5 off $25 coupon at Walgreens. I love these because you can print as many as you want and use them all, one at a time, of course. No one's counting! Click here for coupon.
Warning, this coupons says in the fine print 'must be at $25 after all Walgreens and manufacturer's coupons.' I've never had anyone enforce that, have you? Normally, your total must be at $25 when you give them this coupon, so hand it to the cashier first, then use any manufacturer's coupons after the $5 coupon. Also, Walgreens computers will not take more coupons than you have items, so if you have lots of coupons, you'll need to buy a filler item...this is when I get something that rarely has coupon offers, like milk.

Thanks for the post. Just a heads up to anyone who tries to use manufacturers coupons AND thier register rewards coupons: Yesterday 2 of the South Florida locations wouldn't allow me to use all my register rewards coupons on my transaction.I was only allowed to use one. ALSO: if you're expecting to get register rewards back for an item that you already used a MF on...you won't get your register rewards! A lot of the managers have the cash registers rigged to not print them out. Walgreens is by no means as fair and lenient as CVS. Be careful! This is happening to people all over the nation.

Don't you hate all those rules Walgreens has about using coupons and Register Rewards?
Oh, and my biggest pet peeve....the store sale items are only on sale if you clip the Walgreens coupon from the booklet and hand it to them at checkout. So the poor schmuck who doesn't have time to read the sale booklet gets to pay full price!

I know, Kathy! Very frustrating. I wrote corporate a very long letter explaining that there is no consistency with the rules in their stores. I said if you don't run your RR program like your competitor CVS, it's really not a reward, is it?? If these rules are true, I would have no reason to shop at Walgreens anymore. I'll see what they say!

The one thing I DO like about Walgreens is when they have a $5 off coupon, they don't track how many times you use it. CVS does.
I miss the old days when CVS used to print the $5 off coupons on the bottom of your receipt often. I don't get those anymore.

Kathy, CVS prints $5 coupons all the time for me, because I go for long periods without shopping there. The computer system must note if you're in there every week anyway, then why give you $5 off. Perhaps the answer is to get several keytags to make it harder to track.

Hmmmm....good point, Pauline. Very good.
We just have to make sure we keep track of which keytag is which, because the Extra Bucks only work when you are on the corresponding account.
Thanks for posting that. Shhhh, we don't want CVS to know we discussed this.
