Coupons in Advance: Preview over $375 in coupons in Sunday's Sun Sentinel 9/27
Happy Friday! This Sunday will be one of those days that serious strategic shoppers will stock up on coupons. There will be 4 inserts this week, chock full of coupons, over $375 worth.
If you stockpile, meaning you buy nonperishables when the price is right rather than when you need them, you'll want to have enough coupons to buy 6-8 at a time. A serious couponer will have a closet full of detergents, toothpaste, canned goods, cereals, etc, that they've purchased at rock bottom prices during a good sale matched with coupons.
Every week we hear from readers who want to learn to save with coupons. Check with us frequently, we will let you know about local sales and savings, especially in the reader comments...our readers are so generous about sharing their great finds. You can sign up for an RSS feed or email notifications when we post a new tip by clicking here.

I take this list each week and add it to an ongoing Word doc. Then I can just use "find" with key words to look for coupons for products.

I've read on several blogs that Kmart's upcoming double coupon event will only apply to P&G coupons. Do you know if there is any truth to this?

You can e-mail Kmart directly. When I did they told me that the doubling event was for P&G Qs only. I have NO idea how they'll be able to do that since I don't think their registers are set up that way but that's what they e-mailed me twice (I was so shocked I e-mailed them a second time to confirm).

I heard that Oikos yogurt is fabulous. Is that true? And it's free with coupon?
Thanks Andrea. Now instead of packing and getting my life in order so I can leave town, I'll be driving all over kingdom come looking for a Greenwise Marketplace.
I may have to miss out on the free yogurt this time. Oh, how painful!!

KCK has figured out a way to make her own searchable database. Smart! I told you I met with management to try convince them there's a need...we'll see if anything develops.

Hi all! Does anyone know if the coupons I get from Sun Sentinel are the same as Palm Beach Post ? I thought that since they are two diff counties that the coupons would be diff. Also, if anyone knows if the inserts for Miami/Dade are the same or diff =) Thanks all!!!!!!

The Palm Beach Post has some of the same coupons as the Sun Sentinel, but not all.
If you use couponmom.com, you'll notice hers a different than ours as well. Most are the same, but there are some missing and some additional from paper to paper.
