Free 60-day trial membership at BJs Wholesale Club
Thanks to Common Sense with Money for telling us about a free 60-day trial membership to BJs Wholesale club. Click here for coupon.
We've had some interesting discussions on this blog about which wholesale club we prefer. Now that I'm couponing, and watching sales like a hawk, I find I can usually do better in the chain stores with sales and coupon match ups, but not on meats and produce. What do you like to buy at your wholesale club?
Let's have another discussion about which wholesale club is your favorite and why. I'm sure we have some new readers with an opinion, or some new readers interested in your opinions.

I am now a BJ's -a-holic. When my college students visit, I buy lots of food and milk there, but when it's just my DH and myself, I buy meat, salad, paper goods, and OTC meds. (The BJ's brands of everything I use, from antihistamines to painkillers and more are the best prices anywhere!)My DH also likes the Artisan breads, and if I bought them every day it wouldn't be enough for him (he loves fresh bread.)
If it isn't at BJ's, I'll buy it at Target, my other favorite store. I like Target's generic of whole grain cereals, but my family only likes real Cheerios, so I buy those from BJ's of course.
The only other food stores I visit are Publix and Fresh Market for some items I can't get anywhere at BJ's or Target, but those aren't many items.

Yes but when you get there they will pressure you into a full membership although they will add the 60 days to it. The store itself is nice. Dont bother trying to get an LP gas bottle filled @ commercial and powerline, they refuse to fill any tank no matter if the date is good and how clean the bottle is. I also have had some rude employees there so I let my membership expire, going back to SAMS.

BJ's accepts coupons as well. That's a first for warehouse clubs. I like BJs & Costco for bulk meat, chicken & fish. BJs also has some items in smaller packages than the others.

Beware of the prices at BJ's. I am a foodervice consultant and I am aware of the prices there, compared to Sams, Restaurant Depot, Sysco, and Broward Meat and Fish. The prices at BJ's are far higher than Broward Meat and Fish where you aren't forced to buy as much in bulk (potentially wasting food dollars). Check the prices of what you intend to purchase first and write them down...thn shop WD, Publix, Broward Meat and Fish and other stores to ensure that the prices you are paying are in fact, good deals for you. Spring mix, for example, was three times higher than retail. Caveat emptor.
