Sorry I posted twice -i guess i hit the button too quick!
Got more on Publix at another store! Some cashiers know coupons - they're worth their weight in gold! I went to another Pblx to get some more things the other store was out of. Found Pillsbury Pie Crust pkgs with $1 off coupons on the box! Also had a SmartSource coupon in a red-box right there- got 2 boxes, asked the cashier could I use all the coupons - she said yes, Smart Source was ok to use with other mfr.cpns - so I got $3 off in cpns - 2 boxes @ $2.69 = 5.38 less $3 == $3.38 for 2 boxes! That's 1.69 EA!! Gonna get some more! ALSO - watch prices - one Publix had the Ragu large jar BOGO $3.59, the other store was $3.19! Definitely my kinda place!
Also had 2 RAID $2/1 cpn to buy 2 jars of RAid No Scent Ant&Roach $3.98 ea less $2 = $1.98 ea - beats W/M! But their Lactaid Milk special of 2/$6 does NOT beat Walmart- who sells the same 1/2 gal. carton for $2.88 all the time! I'm using my coupons at WM! One last thought - I went to the first store (the one with the $3.59 Ragu) this morning and tried to get more Plsbry Pie Crusts with the $1 couopns on them and the $1/2 SS coupon from the red machine, and she said, no, can only use one coupon of the 3! Not going back there! I have several other Publixes close to me (3-4 mile radius!) There are a lot of other great deals to be had, but I only buy the ones I need (unless they're free! or close to it! to give to others).

Forgot to add - the 2nd Publix (with the Pie Crusts), my total was over $80 (with the BOGOs and other sales already figured in) to start with - then she started rolling off the coupons - brought the total down to $46! WOO-HOO! Loving it!

If your Publix will accept Whole Foods coupons, you can get the Cascadian Farm granolas for free. $1.00 Whole Foods coupon in their "Whole Deal" magazine/circular.

Quite a few coupons in that booklet are items Publix carries in their organic section and the coupons are good thru December.

That's great, Kathy!!

KCK - even the greenwise here stopped taking WF coupons :( ridiculous....

I just went to publix and the cashier did not want to take my coupons for some item that was bogo,(had 2 coupons) called a mgr asst. and she also did not want to take my coupon, they said that i can not use two coupons when is bogo, because i am not paying for one item..i explain to them that everybody does that, and they said is wrong.. the store mgr was called and he ok it...

Lydia - wih the amount of Publixes (?) in the area, it's easy to find one more coupon friendly... unless you want to educate yours and then stick with them...

Does Publix accept CVS/Ride Aid coupons?

Andrea,
I think you need to send an email to Lakeland. I would consider any grocery store within a mile or two radius of the Publix to be competition. Especially now that the Publixes are putting up posters "we accept competitor coupons".

Maria,
The general consensus on CVS coupons is no, but it's manager discretion, so it's easy enough to ask your Publix.

Hi guys, I'm in Naples on a half dead hotel computer so this'll be short. Welcome Kathy! It warms our hearts to hear from new savers. You really picked it up well. Good job! Thanks for all the tips, sorry I'm not home to take advantage. I'll be back to work on Sunday. Keep up the good work.

Here's a $1.00/1 on ANY Keebler or Kellogg's.

http://save-a-lot.com/komen

Click on download coupon and fill out the info. This is an e-centives coupon. It is a manufacturer coupon, but does say "save-a-lot" on it.

Walgreens has Sheer Fusion Vasaline lotion on sale for $6.99 with a $6.99 register reward, so basically free. :)

There's also a manufacturer coupon available to print here: http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qjatbas6980717&bt=vi&o=58496&c=DG&p=mMfP36X8

here's a good one next week
http://tinyurl.com/y94lct4
print two of those (that link is for safari -- change the xs after the equal sign to a wi if you are printing on internet explorer) & take them to publix for free yoplait fiber one yogurt (BOGO at 2.50 & the coupon is $1.25/1)

Not a local deal but
I purchased Show White Blu-Ray on Amazon
Subtotal of Items: $24.99
Shipping & Handling: $2.98
Promotion Applied: -$10.00 using code:snowhite
Total for this Order: $17.97

I used a $20.00 Amazon GC - which I received for doing a survey, (leaving me a $2.03 balance on my Amazon account) total out of pocket for me- Zero.

Today I received a e-mail from Amazon.com "You Have $5.00 in Credit at Amazon Video On Demand" (for purchasing a blu-ray DVD)

How cool is that?

What's going on w/publix? They won't accept 2 coupons for bogo items...

Just had a call from Publix MGR and he said that it's ok to use 2 coupons for bogo items. He apologize and said that he is going to educate his employees to use 2 coupons in bogo items... I'm so happy....

We all run into clerks who argue the point. It is a generous policy, you have to admit.

when you run into that argumentative clerk, stand your ground and ask for the manager. Or carry the Publix coupon policy in your wallet. Several readers have sent it in, maybe I'll post it again.

This is the most controversial subject on this blog, the two coupons with a BOGO policy. Even readers argue about it. but as long as they take them, I'm going to run with it!!

How about you?
