Coupon Chaos: Enter your best savings tips to win free coupons at Shop-O-Matic

coupons1.JPGIt's Coupon Chaos time again...you all are so generous, you enter savings tips all over this blog, but it's Tuesday...I promised to announce two winners this week.

Andrea and KCK could win every week, our best savers by far!! But they both won in recent weeks, so I picked some new posters. 'Beetlemania' told us about a Procter & Gamble deal with Publix where you not only saved but earned a nice $40 gift, and Kathy Arma thrilled us by telling us she had caught the coupon bug and saved $108 at Publix. Welcome to both of you..send your addresses for your coupons.

There's a GREAT new deal at CVS! You buy a tag for your green bag for .99 (yes, I used ECBs to buy it LOL) & attach it to your favorite green bag. You scan it each time you buy something (1x a day max for those of you who do multiple transactions).... and you get $1 ECB for every 4x you use it!

I believe it is till today only but not 100%.

Publix has Snuggle 2 for $6. Use 2 $3 coupons from 10/4 to make it "free" (tax only)

Last day amazing deal on Halloween Candy!

Publix has 1 1/2 pound bags of nestle crunch (and others) for bogo 5.99.
coupon bug and coupons.com have $2 off coupons for single bags.
They let me use 2 coupons so I got 2 giant bags for a little over $1 per bag.
(There was also a $1 off for 2 coupon in the Sunday paper)

Yes, Ashley, thanks, the sale is thru Wednesday, last day of this week's sale at Publix. I've never used Snuggle, anyone like it?

Also a BOGO on Marie Callenders Al Dente pastas thru today, use the $1 off 2 coupon to make it a cheap meal. I just had one for lunch, not bad, I may get a few more tonight.

Kathy-

Ive used Snuggle-It's just as good as Bounce. Especially free! The copons were $3 off each box? I get so mad at myself evry time I see a great deal for a coupon I didn't cut! Any ideas?

only the liquid is free. I got it anyway even though we don't use it - I plan to donate it... same with the free arm & hammer toothpaste (today's the last day for that too)

Wohooo!! Ashley, thanks, that was fun. Four bottles of Snuggle for just the tax, $.72! I love deals like that. I couldn't let it sneak by, I did one of those last minute market runs that we all laugh about.

Don't you love it that the grocery stores are open late? My favorite Walgreens just changed it's closing hour from 11pm to 10pm. I'm crushed! Can't tell you how many times I was in there (counting to $25) at 10:45.

Now, what am I going to do with all this Snuggle? Just kidding! My daughter (with the three babies) says she loves it. She might be set for life!!

Thursday starts the new sales at Publix (Wednesday Winn-Dixie and Albertsons) so let's get those deals posted, ladies (and gentlemen.) Guys we know you're out there...let us hear from you.

Every week Albertsons runs buy one get two free coupons. They also jack up the price on the item making it not such a great deal.

However, if Publix sells the item they will honor the coupon (and usually they have it on sale as well).
This has worked with "whole pork tenderloins" but not with "st louis ribs" since my publix only sell "spare ribs"

It used to be great with boneless skinless chicken breast but I see Albersons has now specified that they are "Sandersons Farms" so it wont work anymore.

Also remember $5 off coupons from Albertsons and Winn Dixie will work at Publix.

A note to all but especially Super Saver Kathy. MY BEST TIP. After you cut out the coupons you are going to use, note the date with permanent marker on the front of coupon insert and keep them in date order. When a deal comes along you will be able to go to that circular cut out the coupon you need and never miss a deal again...This method saves tons of $$$$$$.

Target online has grocery coupons you can print not only can u use them at Publix but when u use them at Target u can double up with manufactuer coupons. They will not give more of a discount then free but free is free.

Also at Target.com there is no limit on the number of coupons u can print.

Oh, yes, Nancy, thanks for the reminder. I am a big proponent of labeling and filing the inserts, I don't clip at all until I make my shopping list.

There is also a teensy date on the fold of the insert. I still mark the front so I'm not squinting at the fold all the time.

This just happened this week with the free Snuggle, DP clipped what she wanted an tossed the Snuggle coupon, then it was on sale and free. Hard to pass on free, even if it's not your brand of choice.

Target has Keebler cookies buy 2 get 1 FREE at $2 per package. I matched this with a Keebler coupon for $1.50 off 2 packages Keebler cookies, from coupons.com, and ended up paying $2.50 for three packs of Keebler chocolate chip cookies!

Payless Shoe Store
Go to oprah.com/payless and get a coupon good for 50% off everything in store.
It is good from Thursday 10/29/09 to 10/30/09.
