Holiday Decor on the cheap
As I began my holiday present scouting this weekend, I found lots of great ideas for holiday decor at stores like Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn.
Fill up a glass jar or vase with holiday bells, pinecones (natural or covered with glitter), or any other item that is bright and cheery.
You can buy ready-made products at home decor stores such as these at Pottery Barn. But if you have your own glass jars or vases, you'll spend less by buying the filler at Michaels or another arts and crafts store.

I bought silver pinecones for a little over $5 at Michaels and plan to put them in a large decorative glass bowl -- instant holiday home decor!
I also spotted a hand-made wreath for 50 percent off. I considered making my own, but then realized I would spend much more than $24.95 price if I bought the materials separately at Michaels.
