$5 admission to the Museum of Discovery and Science on Saturday

Visit Fort Lauderdale's Museum of Discovery and Science on Saturday for $5 as part of a deal between the museum and Walmart. Admission usually runs $11 for adults and $9 for kids.

There are more than 200 fascinating things to touch and see, like the Minerals Rock exhibit, Runways to Rockets and the Great Gravity Clock. There's also bats, sharks and alligators, turtles and iguanas! You can also visit Mars or take a FA-18 for a spin in a fighter jet simulator.

"Arabia 3D," "Hubble" and "Dinosaurs" are showing at the IMAX Theater. The movies are not included in the special admission.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The museum is located at 401 SW Second Street in Fort Lauderdale; 954-467-6637.
