Consumers pick Top 50 online stores

The National Retail Federation's September issue of Stores magazine features its annual survey of the Top 50 online stores consumers like best.

No big surprises here. The Top 3: Amazon.com, Walmart.com and eBay.com.

Rounding out the Top 10 are BestBuy.com, JCPenney.com, Target.com, Kohls.com, Google.com (huh?), Overstock.com and Sears.com.

The survey, in its fourth year, collected responses from 8,486 consumers who provided their top two preferred online merchants and ranked three factors in importance: Price, free shipping, flexible return policies.
