Since just about everyone is getting in on the pink-product act for Breast Cancer Awareness month, we decided to round up several products from South Florida companies that are supporting research, detection and recovery.
These offerings are a great way to support local businesses and show your support. Plus, you'll look perfectly pretty in pink.
Tattoo you: Surprise someone special with the "Think Pink" Ta-TaToo, a temporary tattoo you apply to your "ta-tas." The company, based in South Florida, will donate 30 percent of proceeds to the non-profit charity Think Pink Rocks (ThinkPinkRocks.com).
Available: $12.95 at GBS The Beauty Stores and TaTaToos.com
Pink Tinte: Miami Beach-based Tinte Cosmetics' charity lineup is glamorous and gorgeous. The Match Book Kit in Blushed Beauty is an all-in-one palette of silky eye shadows, eyeliner, blush, lip glosses and applicator brushes ($28). The Shimmering Face Pearls in Nikki Pink ($15) goes on eyes, lips, cheeks, body and even nails (paint clear on top). But our testers really flipped for the Double Bubble Flavored Lip Shine ($18) and the tin of Bubble Gum Flavored Lip Color ($14). Tinte will donate 30 percent of sales from these products to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
Available: Various South Florida stores listed at TinteCosmetics.com
Smooth it out: Soften up with Aveda Hand Relief cream. This rich cream helps smooth hands and $4 a tube goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation BCRFCure.org). We love how the package reminds you to get your annual beast exam, too.
Available: $21 at Retreat Aveda Salon at Macy's in Fort Lauderdale or Aveda.com.
Rock the cause: Pink-themed merchandise, from bandanas to leather vests, rounds out the Hard Rock's 2010 Pinktober offerings. There are T-shirts, robes, bed linens and a hot-lookin' rhinestone guitar pin, too. Seventy-five percent of sales benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRFCure.org). We like the sparkly $20 charm bracelet.
Available: $10-$130 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood and HardRock.com.
Arm yourself: Strap on a Pink Armpocket for a secure place to tuck phones, keys and cash for gals on the run. It even has a handy audio port at the bottom for earphones. Great for travel, too. Our tester found the cushioned, memory-foam padding very comfy against her arm. The Miramar-based company will donate 10 percent of sales to the Breast Cancer Fund.
Available: Three sizes, $22.95-$29.95 at South Florida's Runner's Depot in Davie and ArmPocket.com
Get a lift: Hollywood dermatologist Dr. Gary Goldfaden's Instant Face Lift is packed with powerful anti-oxidants like hyaluronic acid, Seaweed Extract Red Tea Extract, Iron Oxideseaweed extract and organic red tea, it's sure to give you a lift. Goldfaden will donate 20 percent of proceeds from this product to CEW's Cancer & Careers Organization (CEW.org).

Charming: This isn't from South Florida, but it is too cute not to mention! Clinique's Great Lips, Great Cause is a key ring with serious charms, namely the adorable mini-sized lip-lickin' pink treats of Long Last Glosswear, Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss and the cutest-ever Different Lipstick. $4 from each sale goes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
