Walmart.com offers free shipping on 60,000 items through Dec. 20

Walmart is offering free shipping on 60,000 items beginning today and will run the offer through Dec. 20. There is no minimum purchase required.

“Everyone’s trying to figure out how we can serve a customer that’s trying to save every penny they can,” said Steve Nave, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart.com told The New York Times in a Business Day story on NYT.com. “It’s the most competitive offer out there, and we’re pretty excited about it.”

Free shipping always sweetens the deal and it's hard to beat the prices at Walmart.
