Winn-Dixie's "Make-a-Meal" deal offers $9 in free food with coffee purchase

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but you can score free breakfast at Winn-Dixie markets through April 5.

The grocery chain's new "Make-a-Meal" program gives you four free breakfast items valued at nearly $9 when you buy Maxwell House coffee and you use your Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card.

Purchase a 31 or 34.5 ounce can of Maxwell House coffee for $11.99 and get for free a box of Armour Sizzle & Serve Sausage, a can of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits, a box of Quaker Quick Grits and a dozen large eggs. (The deals may vary slighly from store to store.)

In February, Winn-Dixie introduced a new customer reward program called fuelperks!, that offers a discount on Shell gasoline with grocery purchases.
