If you don't have medical insurance you can get a free flu shot at CVS/Pharmacy with a voucher from local health centers through a $6 million joint program offered by the nonprofit Direct Relief USA and CVS/Caremark. Shots cost $29.99.

Central and South Florida clinics offering the vouchers: Broward Community & Family Health Centers in Hollywood, Care Resource Miami, University of Miami, Good News Care Center in Miami, Community Health Center in West Palm Beach, Shepherd's Hope in Orlando, Central Florida Health in Sanford and Lakeland and Hpe Medical Clinic in Destin.

Clinics will screen and provide the vouchers to uninsured patients who can then redeem them at CVS/Pharmacys and MinuteClinics inside CVS stores.

Direct Relief USA works with 1,100 clinics and health centers in all 50 states, providing them with free medications and supplies for their low-income and uninsured patients. Most of the facilities in Direct Relief's network are affiliated with either the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) or the National Association of Free Clinics (NAFC), according to the press release.
