Five last-minute Valentine’s Day gift ideas

Time to come up with a perfect Valentine’s Day gift is running out. Stuck at work and need to come up with an idea pronto? Here are some last minute options for all the procrastinators.

A picture’s worth a thousand words: Shoppers can order one-hour photos online at most CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens stores. Upload a cute photo of you and your sweetheart and pick it up on the way home. Might as well grab a photo frame while you’re there.

Last minute grocery stop: Most South Florida flower shops are no longer accepting same-day delivery orders this late in the afternoon. But grocery stores still have a selection of roses and other bouquets. Stop in after work to grab some flowers and maybe a bottle of wine too.

Gift cards: Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, most grocery stores and some gas stations sell gift cards to restaurants, iTunes, retail stores and more. Order one online or pick one up on the way home. Click here for everything you need to know about gift cards.

Romantic flicks: Order in and pick up the latest chick flick from a Redbox or Blockbuster Express at the corner of a grocery store or gas station. Subscriptions to Netflix start at $7.99 too.

Music is the way to the heart: Make your significant other a playlist of romantic songs. Send it by email, through file sharing sites like sendspace.com (for larger files) or upload it on an iPod or iPhone when you’re home.
