Free entry to museums on Sunday

It's the first full weekend of the month on Saturday and Sunday, which means you can visit for free one of 9 South Florida museums.

Get in free at more than 150 U.S. venues with an ID and Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card. BOA's Museum on Us program offers each cardholder one free general admission on Saturday and Sunday on the first full weekend of each month.

Choose from nine South Florida venues, including the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, where there is a new 34,000-square-foot EcoDiscovery Center featuring adorble live river otters, an Everglades Airboat Adventure, exhibits on Prehistoric Florida and a nifty Storm Center, right.

Justine Griffin covers retail and marine business for the Sun Sentinel. She is a Tampa Bay native who graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2010. After spending a year covering crime in St. Augustine, Fla., she moved to Fort Lauderdale and made the switch to business journalism.
