Sports Authority hosting grand re-opening in Fort Lauderdale

The newly remodeled Sports Authority in Fort Lauderdale will hold a grand re-opening for the completed store on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.

The nearly 50,000-square-foot renovated store at 1901 N. Federal Highway has a new fitness equipment area, Nike shops for men and women, expanding footwear department and an updated checkout area.

The first 250 customers at the grand re-opening celebration will receive gift cards ranging from $5-$500 in value. More giveaways, including hourly $100 cash drawings and a $1,000 grand prize Sports Authority shopping spree will be going on throughout the day.

Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
