A new restaurant will open inside the former Rare steakhouse on Las Olas Boulevard.

A 8,367-square-foot American cuisine restaurant called the Grille will open in the fall, said owner Kevin Blair, who also owns the Pinon Grill in the Town Center at Boca Raton and Brimstone Woodfire Grill in Pembroke Pines.

Construction on the two-story facility with a wine cellar has begun. The former tenant, Rare, closed earlier this year. The Grille will be open for lunch and dinner.
