Father's Day freebies: Fun things to do, eat on Saturday and Sunday

Happy Father's Day!

Celebrate with Dad in South Florida style with tasty dining deals and fun things to do with the man in your life on Sunday. Show Big Daddy he's No. 1 with free visits to local attractions and free entrees and treats at restaurants. We even threw in a few last-minute gift ideas, too.

MOVE IT:

Xtreme Indoor Karting: Dads who bring the family to the indoor track in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday get up to three free go-kart races. The track's tricked out with 20-foot sculptures of Miami Heat's LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Bring a Heat ticket stub and score a free race when you buy one, too. Prices start at $19.50 for an eight-minute run. License and head sock not included.

Rapids Water Park: Dads get in free when a regular priced admission is paid on Sunday at the Riviera Beach water park. All-day weekday admission is $36.95; Saturday-Sunday is $40.95; Sunset Special Admission after 4 p.m. weekdays is $18, after 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday $20.

Butterfly World: Dads get in free entrance at the Coconut Creek attraction on Sunday, a $24.95 value. No coupon necessary.

Bonnet House: Dads get in free with one paid admission from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale museum and gardens. Admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, $16 kids 6-12 and free for 5 and under; gardens only is $10.

Miami Science Museum: Dads get free entry on Sunday with a paid child admission. Fun activities planned include a romp through "Big Truck Days!" in which kids can climb in buses and trucks and other interactive things to do. Admission is $14.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors and kids 3-12. Children 2 and under are free. Info: 305-646-4200.

Flamingo Gardens in Davie: Dads get free entrance with regular paid adult or kid admissions on Sunday ($18 ages 12 and up, $10 for kids 4-11, under 3 free). We've also got a coupon for $5 and $2.50 off admission for adults and kids. Info at FlamingoGardens.org.

Mizner Park: Downtown Drive Car Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, features 100 unique cars on display from antiques to classics to street rods. Check out Braman Motors' limited edition $1.8 million Bugatti Veyron 16.4. Admission is free.

EAT IT:

Texas de Brazil: Fathers eat free on Sunday with the purchase of one full-priced dinner with a Facebook coupon at participating locations. There are locations in Fort Lauderale, Hallandale Beach, Miami and Orlando. Offer is one free meal per table. Reservations recommended.

Beef O'Brady's: Dad's eat free on Sunday with purchase of an entree of equal or lesser value up to $10 at partcipating locations. There's one in Cooper City.

NYY Steak: Dads who dine on Sunday get a free lobster tail with any steak entree at the new restaurant inside Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Reservations required.

Champps: Dads get a free burger with purchase of an adult entree with a coupon good on Sunday.

Friendly's: Dads get a free three-scoop sundae with purchase of another with a coupon valid on Sunday.

Denny's: You and Dad get a free Pancake Puppies Sundae when you send him a Father's Day wish through its Facebook fan page.

First Watch Daytime Cafe: Dads who dine on Sunday get a free bottle of pure Maple Syrup while supplies last. There are locations Central and South Florida locations in Sunrise and Boca Raton.

IKEA: Dad gets a free breakfast at the stores in Orlando and Sunrise before 11 a.m. He gets scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and a cup of coffee.

Ruby Tuesday's: Buy a $50 gift card and get a $15 bonus coupon via email through Sunday.

Tijuana Flats: Dads get a free entree on Sunday with purchase of another entree at participating South Florida locations.

Buca di Beppo: Buy a large paste entree and get a small fettuccine, spachetti or ziti free with a coupon. Expires Sunday.

Hooters: Dads get 10 free wings on Sunday at participating locations. Dine-in only.

TCBY: Dads get a free cup of frozen yogurt on Father's Day at South Florida participating locations. No purchase necessary.

Kodak: Get a free 8X10 collage valued at $3.99 when you buy a $1.99 folded greeting card using the Kodak Picture Kiosks at Target, CVS and Navarro pharmacies with a Facebook offer. The coupon expires Sunday.
