Go the .. to Sleep gets response from mom

For those of you who are catching up, the book Go the ... to Sleep has climbed book lists, presumably because so many parents share the frustration of trying to get their child to sleep.
But not everyone approves, including Karen Spears Zacharias, who wrote the following for CNN.
She doesn't like the language, and wants a different message, writing:
"The violent language of "Go the F*** to Sleep" is not the least bit funny, when one considers how many neglected children fall asleep each night praying for a parent who'd care enough to hold them, nurture them and read to them."
Your thoughts? (Note that due to technical issues, your comment doesn't show up right away. But they'll go up ASAP.)

This woman with her complete lack of sense of humor and mampy pampy attitude toward child rearing not to mention her other permissive qualities is the reason kids are out of control today.
Perhaps she should try teaching her children some respect for others, right after she gives them a good crack on the behind!

It's funny how people will show their disinterest in something. All she needs to do is NOT purchase this book. There are millions of books out there that are worse but because this has a child's theme her panties are in a bunch. Note: the book was not intended for children but for novelty purposes.
Remember in the early 90's when some crazy woman spoke up about the tv show, Married with Children, because of the "immorality"? Turn the channel if you don't like it, and for this book, purchase something else for your entertainment.

She is simply mad a man is getting attention for writing a parenting book in a way she does not approve of so she has to make a fool of herself and open her mouth.
If you don't like it, don't read it.

I know parents who's kids would fall asleep the minute their heads would hit the pillow and who's kids would take 3 or 4 hour naps in afternoon. Not my kid. There would be a 2 hour ritual every night to get my kid to go to sleep - Just what I needed after a long grueling day! My kid would then wake up at 5:30 every morning and would refuse to nap in the afternoon, even as an infant. There was no downtime to make a phone call, shower, or pick up around the house.
