When my cat Sputnik came to live with me after his owner moved, he still had one of those big plastic cones around his neck (Hence his name. He looked like a satellite dish). He was recovering from urinary trac surgery. One weekend, while I was away, Sputnik escaped outside, ran under our wooden deck -- and promptly got stuck. My roommate had to get a friend to cover over with a pry bar and take up half the deck to get Sputnik out. A Comfy Cone would have eliminated this cat-astrophe!

Man, Lucky could have used this while he was going through his "biting a hole in his backside" episode. That plastic cone really irritated his neck.
