I love 7th heaven. Ive watched it growing up and I'm super bummed its off now.. They shouldn't have brougt on so many extra non-camdens if you ask me. It would have been fine with just eric/annie/simon/ruthie/lucy/kevin/sam/david. That way they could have done more episodes about social issues like they used to instead of focusing primarily on all the dumb relationships of all these people I REALLY dont care about. Or even focused more on family relationships. You know Parents and the kids. Or kevin and lucy. Especially Sam and David because they were basically extras and could have been used for alot more. I liked 7th heaven probably up until season 7. The rest kind of went down hill since the family basically broke up. It makes me sad but I guess all good things come to an end

I kinda going back to what chris said the first time. Just beacause they didn't bring a bible doesn't mean they are not real christians. maybe the writer just didn't think about that when she wrote who knows. But I am still in love with 7th Heaven!!

Ruthie is my favorite character. Without her I wouldn't watch 7th Heaven. This show should go on forever! Make a 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th seasons. I like Simon, too but I love Ruthie. All actors should come back. I love 7th Heaven

Luckily Ruthie didn't leave permantly. Shes on most of the episodes now. I saw the preview for tonights episode and I can't believe is actually considering losing her virginity already. I think that shes either in her junior year or senior year(not sure..sorry), but still she needs to realize that shes not ready for it. Shes only been with T-Bone for 3 episodes and shes actually considering it. I think she is only doing it because she could possibly be upset over Martin(hoping). It's just like Gilmore Girls (sorta) Rory slept with Dean and then right when her and Logan got together she decided she wanted to do it with him. Ruthie is going way too far. She thinks that shes grown up enough for this but shes not. She still has A LOT to learn, especially about making the right decisions. I want Martin to come back. I don't care if its in the series finale, I need them to be together in the end because they are so cute together. Go away T-Bone. It would be awesome if Martin were the one that convinced her not to loser her virginity to T-Bone. They haven't even met in the eleventh due to the fact that Martin left to go be with Sandy and "his baby"(maybe). I just hope they get together, they are so right for eachother! I think that Ruthie should forgive T-bone and get back together. I would like them to be together but where Ruthie doesn't go bad again. If she could just stay the same way she is now it would be better.

I absolutely love 7th heaven. I have been a faithful fan since the very first season. I think 7th heaven should go on as long as possible. see the grandkids grow up the way we did the kids. I also love all the cast members. 7th heaven is the best and most decent show on the air. Its awesome and a show like that should go on.

7TH Heaven is the most decent,and the best family show on TV. It has a loyal following even though it's not advertised or promoted.
I don't want to see anything happen to Rev. Camden, he's the best. Come on you have a great show and the stories will devekop, they always have. We've watched this family grow and want it to continue just like a friend. Every character is important. It sure beats reality shows, that have their reality staged anyhow. Yuk, eat rats or bugs and try to slaughter your competition.

I love the show but like everyone left. I'm excited ruthie is coming back, because the show is boaring with out her. I still love the show. i wish martin would be on more he is my 2nd favorite next to ruthie.

I personally think that 7th Heaven have been on for too long. It started out as a show for young teens, now every one has grown up. I was happy with the way that it ended, or thought that it ended, with everyone having twins. I didn't see any reason for it to come back.

I was so excited to hear that 7th heaven was coming back!!...That was until I tuned in!!..Ruthie is a must! She is what made that show interesting last year!..With the way the show ended last season, it left you feeling good about how everything turned out! Simon didn't marry Rose, Sandy has "something" to tell Simon about the baby. Everyone else was having twins. Yeah..so happy for everyone, but then the show comes back (wich I was so happy for), and things just are blah! I think things would have been far more interesting if indeed Sandy's baby turned out to be Simons. That whole dinamic would change and there is so many ways to turn that into several good story lines! That then would have left the door open for Ruthie and Martin to "explore" all the possiblities of their relationship, once again more avenues for several great story lines! Instead we get... well, I'm not sure what we got, but I definatley am bored with it, and have sadly stopped watching the show! Please, bring back Ruthie and Simon, and give the show back the spark that it has lost!!!!!

Why the heck you'd you make Ruthie and Simon leave the show? I have just started watching this show recently and i want them to stay. Speaking if Ruthie.... Well, to give my personal preference on how the 11th season should go. I would have to start with Sandy finding out that the baby is not Martin's and that he is really Simon's. Then Ruthie would, of course, have to make a suprise come back from Scotland. Also,that the time apart from Ruthie would make Martin realize how he feels about her, and that he cant be with out her again. Martin and Ruthie just have this chemistry. They look good together, get along well,and have a strong foundation in their friendship. I also think that Simon and Sandy should be together. They just seem to go together also. As for all the other characters I really do not care. Lucy and Kevin ahhhh... Kevin is ok but Lucy can get on my nerves. So, do the twins, but, of course, Mr. and Mrs . Camden are genuine loving and giving people. Who couldnt like them. Any way there is NO QUESTION THAT RUTHIE AND MARTIN NEED TO BE TOGETHER and so do Simon and Sandy. Oh! and thank goodness Simon got rid of that other girl.

I hate it without Ruthie. Ruthie was one of my favorites. This season will be a hard season cause it's pick up from that huge season finale. I hope Mary is in it with her twins. ou can not take Simon and Ruthie off the show it would be absolutely nothing with out them. I have watched this show since season one and my favorite characters were always those 2. We need to know how Ruthie turns out when she gets older, and if that is Simon's baby. Overall this show would not be as good without them.

I hope Ruthie and Simon stay gone. Their characters were getting boring and predictable. Ruthie was always in storyline limbo and Simon's last story with Rose was a complete dud. I could care less about Simon, but Ruthie was great. I could deal with a new actor replacing Simon (maybe) since I never liked his look in the first place, but Mackenzie is really one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced. I think the show just jumped the shark with the loss of these two characters and I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being the show's final season. Too bad. What happened to Mackenzie anyway? I haven't been keeping up--I just assumed she'd be on the show this season. Did she pull a Jessica Biel or something? Do you think we'll see her half-naked in Maxim this summer?

I have watched this show since season 1, and cried when I thought it was over. The new season is going ok, but they really do need more appearances from the original camden cast especially when the last episode announced the triple pregnancies and went to the extent of having Jessica Biel appear. I will continue to watch and hope that they will make some changes and bring back the people that made this show its success.

I think it's strange that you would invite back people who were not seventh heaven originals, and only have the original cast back for a few episodes. Why even bring back the show if that's the case?

i was very excited when i heard that 7th heaven was coming back. i have grown up with these people, and i have an emotional connection to them. unfortunately, i missed the first two shows. after reading almost a hundred different opinions about the shows i have many things to say. WHERE ARE SIMON AND RUTHIE? i can't believe that after taking out Matt and Mary that u actually took out the two next best characters! if they refuse to come back, pay them more money, or put some of there ideas in the scripts. maybe they don't like the way their character is going. just FIX THIS PROBLEM OR LOSE MANY FANS AND HAVE YOUR RATINGS GO DOWN FAST!!!! the next thing that i can't understand, is why make lucy have a miscarriage? do u think that it adds a twist?! because if u do, u are crazy. hasn't lucy gone through enough? i mean last seaon she has been away from savannah a lot, working too much, and been keeping secrets for everyone. give this character a break. the show doesn't need a pissed off lucy. she isn't that kind of person. bad enough she always blows things out of proportion, this could really mess up her marriage. the bottom line is that this new director has made a horrible bad start, and needs to bring back some of the original characters, in other words, you have got a whole lot of stuff to fix up.
I really hope changes happen, and fast. i don't want to have to stop watching 7th heaven, i love the camden family.

Yes,I want Ruthie back,to see her in college,etc and with Martin. I would rather have new actors playing their parts, rather than lose the characters, each one is an important part of the show. I have watched 7th heaven from the start. I think its a great show and last season (season 10) was very good. With two episodes into the 11th season I am a little disapointed. There really is no real drama other than Lucy, and even that is getting annoying. Last season many of us were left wondering about Simon and Sandy, Martin, and of course Ruthie. It is good to see that Martin is back in the show, but Ruthie needs to be there as well. Like the rest of the family we have watched them grow and settle. Matt gets married becomes a doctor, Mary gets married has 3 kids and becomes a teacher, Lucy gets married has a kid and becomes a minister....What about Simon and Ruthie? Sam and David are too young to have any real problems just yet. This season should focus on Ruthie and Simon with Sandy and Martin and Lucy interacting with their problems.
I hope the show stays alive for the entire season, but I really hope the next episodes build a stronger plot line with some original characters.

All right there little miss goody goody betty white....I hate to break it to ya, but the show will not last w/o ruthie or simon no matter how "bad" of camdens they were. Their problems are what helped to boost the ratings of the show. The show is not nearly as interesting as it used to be and for that, it is a fact that the show will be cancelled very soon. You learn a lot about the entertainment industry when you get a bachelor's degree in it. So, maybe if you actually knew anything about what it takes for a series to make it in television, then you would understand.

OMG Ruthie was a little hooch. She totally ruined the purpose the original show becuase the original show was not supposed to be about teenage sluts. Simon needed to keep his pants on. Thank goodness they are gone and now we can just watch the only wholesome Camden left... the wonder that is LUCY!!!! And her hunk of a husband Kevin <3

I think that if Ruthie doesn't return to 7th Heaven soon the show is going to get cancelled. Ruthie had the best problems and frankly, without her to break up all the adult problems it get's old fast and Lucy seems even more annoying. There need to be more young men and women.

I have to admit that I feel kind of abandoned that Ruthie and Simon have left. First Jessica Biel then Barry Watson. The show's just not the same. They should've ended the show last season.

I think its weird to see that the only cast members left are the parents, lucy and kevin, martin and his baby's mama. Ruthie and Simon were an important source of my watching the show. They are still young and contributed to young adult life situations. Also the kids relationships with each other made the show what it is. Especially ruthie and simon's relationship. Without all the kids I don;t think it is going to be all that interesting this season. If not coming back is the actors choices then I guess its ok but if its the shows decision shame on them. Oh no they didn't! I have just stared watching 7th heaven so I am a bit confused, but they took out Ruthie and Simon? Then I will continue watching Charmed, and forget 7th Heaven. Ruthie was my FAVORTIE character, and I was hoping Martin and her would hook up! But no, they had to get rid of her! Bye 7th Heaven, nice watching you for a week!

I am deffinatley dissapointed with the 11th season so far. Ruthie and Simon have to be my two favorite charactes on the show. With them gone i had hardly watch the show without thinking how stupid it has become. I really hope that Simon and Ruthie are brought back!!

The show will be canceled by mid season if ruthie and simin does not return. I know you want a much older audience but most adults want to enjoy a show that the whole family can watch. I don't want to sound rude but the season premiere the other "sucked".

Ruthie played a pretty stronge character. She was learning her way in life, growing up. Wasn't that what the show was originally about? I dont think I will continue to watch 7th heaven if it isn't 7th heaven. The should have stayed ended, now you've ruined a classic. Get some of the original charicters back. Thats what Aaron would have tried for.

We watched 7th Heaven last night and it was NOT the same show without Ruthie and Simon. You need to bring them back, CW! Otherwise, you're going to lose viewers (myself included). There's not enough going on with the characters left on the show. You need those central characters back.

I watched 7th Heaven today. And to be honest with you it just was boring and just did not keep me wanting to watch anymore. It is just not the same no Ruthie and no Simon. I mean they had already taken Matt and Mary out. And I hear that Annie will not be on the show that much either. Then what is the point of the show? It should be called something else because with 4 kids missing then it really is not 7th Heaven not is it. More like 3rd Heaven if even that.

I have watched this show since it has been on and EVERY episode from season 1 to 10. I Love Mackenzie and David's characters, they bring livelyness and their own personality to the show and I am SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO disappointed they did not change their minds. I will still watch it because it is my favorite show and I know I was one of the people who REALLY REALLY wanted the show to return for a 11th season but now without all the characters and changing the storyline so drastically I am disappointed but like I said I will still watch it because I always have and always will as long as it's on but now after hearing this information this summer I have rethought my views on demanding it to come back on!

7th Heaven shouldnt have come back at all! I wouldnt watch it if the whole cast returned. There is a reason they dont wanna come back. The show has become a joke! Especially since it got a really great showed cancelled for coming back!

heyy i think that martin and ruthie need to start dating and simon can come and go like he did last season. matt and sarah need to make more guest appearances as well as mary and carlos. ruthie isnt even a senior in hs yet she cant possibly leave the show it would make no sense. sandy had simons baby so martin needs to be with ruthie (who can not leave the show).

I will be dissapointed if Ruthie and Simon don't come back, but I think the show can do well without them. However, I think the writers should focus and worry more on creating plotlines that get back to the heart of the show. It would be great if the show focused on problems in the community/world besides teen pregnancy. I know that it is a huge problem, but it has been over done and played out. I would like to see the characters focus on problems in the public schools in California. It would be a great way to tie in Sam and David as well. Regardless of whether Simon and Ruthie are in every show or not, Sam and David need to have bigger roles. They are in kindergarten/First grade by now and by that age Ruthie was a main focus in the show. It would be an interesting angle to show the struggles Eric and Annie go through as older parents trying to raise their much younger children. Using Sam and David's experiences in elementary school could be a great segway into school violence, the alienation kids feel if they have learning disabilities or are not good at sports, and the discrepencies between schools in rich and poor areas. Ruthie can continue to have her boy drama but give her a focus of substance as well. Perhaps if she doesn't sign on to every show she can be doing an exchange program in a foreign country.And it would be nice to see a greater focus on Annie as well. She used to do the church finances and has a degree in business, let us see her do something with that. Overall, I would like to see the show return to it's roots. I know that the new CW is trying to attract a young audience, but don't be afraid to trackle issues that producers are afraid will "bore" teenagers. The show did great in it's early years when it still focused on race relations and fist fights on the playground. These are real issues in the world; riots in Los Angeles aren't as different as the Israel/Lebanon conflict, and fist fights lead to guns in school. 7th Heaven used to be cutting edge and delt with contraversial topics, bring that back. High schoolers are smart, don't dumb down to them. They can question having sex before marriage and wonder why Christians and Muslims don't get along. I congratulate you for bringing the show back, make sure 7th Heaven lives up to it's full potential.

I really enjoyed Ashlee Simpson and him, she mite not be interested in guest starring but if she was i think that would be alot of fun! Ruthie needs a boyfreind - prefably martin. Simon should come home alot with a girlfriend we all like and no more problems with stds or sex and babies for simon its too much for just him. I preferred when the kids had the minor problems and people outside the family were the ones with the major problems integrating many story lines at once. this season should be AMAZING good luck CW and thanks for letting the viewers be part of planning out the show. hope to see some of our ideaas on the show=)!

I have watched 7th heaven all my life since i was seven years old. I really don't think the show would be the same without seeing Ruthie and Simon on it. I think they add to the drama of the show.

I've watched 7th Heaven for the past 10 years. I started watching the show when I was 11 and now i'm 21 and still have never once missed an episode and i don't plan on starting now. I do feel that Simon should come back at least for a few episodes to get everything settled between him, Sandy and the baby. I would personally like to see Ruthie and Martin back in the picture. Ruthie is young and has a lot to experience. Life experiences-- the stories could be endless for her. Add some real deep drama with a new boyfriend or an old spark like Martin.

I'm looking forward to this coming season, as i do every year. I do hope it's not the last and I do hope that most of the cast come back, but if they don't i will still be watching.

I think that I would never watch 7th Heaven again if they didn't have Mackenzie Rosman on it again. I think that Mackenzie would be able to be on the set still and do the show b/c she is in High School.

Simon not coming back every episode isn't that big a deal. He is in college and works. The character of Simon should make several guest appearances throughout the season though. Ruthie should definitely come back for every episode. She is after all only 16. They should create a new love interest for her. Matt should come back for a lot of guest appearances as well as Sarah, since they are expecting twins. The character of Mary should also be mentioned more and have several guest appearances, especially with twins as well. They should re-cast Mary if Jessica Beils doesnt want to come back at all.

well first of all I love the show especially Beverly Mitchell, but i think it would be really nice for the whole clan to come back but the choice is really up to mackenzie and david if they don't want to do it than they shouldn't have to we do have that choice here in America and you know they did do it for 10 years so i don't think that everyone should be bashing them because they don't want to do the show and evrything they do have lives and can do other things well even if they don't come back i will still watch the show on a count of it's the only show that doesn's define what the bible says clearly in black and white

Simon and Ruthie have been the youngest characters since the show ever started. As viewers, we were able to relate to many of their problems. As they were growing up, so have we. Without these two excellent actors the show would lack portrayals of the issues teenagers, today, are facing.

7th heaven is my all time favorite show on TV. I will always remember it even when they stop showing it any more. i will show my kids what my favorite show is. I will never forget this show. I really think simon and ruthie should stay. they are the greatest actors. and it wouldnt be the same if they left. i remember when ruthie was around 5 and that beautiful curly hair she had.and when simon first started the show around 10 years old. they were all soo cute when they were little and now they are grown up. they should really stay. its nice to see how much more mature they get every episode. its great to see how much older they are. if u think back to when ruthie an dismon were younger ruthie had short curly hair and was tiny and simon had long white hair and was way smaller then he is now. if they leave we would never know what they will be like or who ruthie will marry in the movie it wont be like the old episodes. the only camdens would be lucy ( which shes a kinkirk. but shes still a camden) the twins and annie and eric camden. that means 3 kids left. it wouldnt be right to be losing sooo many people. i also wish there would be a reuinion and on the 11 season get mary ( jessica beil ) matt ( barry watson ) peter and all the people who were on the show once. including Dinna simons 1st girlfriend. and also jimmy moon lucy's 1st boy friend. and also jeff marys 1st boyfriend and all the people who have been great actors in one of the episodes. especially the hamiltons. if ruthie and simon dont come back i think they should make a reuinion. it will make up for them leaving. this has been the greatest movie on television. i think it shoul live forever. especially when eric and annie are older and they are soo old that the kids have to take care of them. just like when eric and annie had to take care of the kids. i will always remember every time they laughed or cried. and all the fun and bad times they have had together. please stay.

I am so happy that 7th Heaven is coming back for another season. The main reason that I watched was because of all the drama with Martin and Ruthie. If Ruthie doesn't come back, most of the drama and heart- breaking feelings that you get will not be present. I want to feel bad for her and for Martin at the same time. Without the two of them, the show will not be the same.

I really don't want David or Mackenzie to leave the show. Simon I can stand not having back on the show. The past few years he hasn't been a main character, and was only a recurring character, and that was fine. To me the only characters who matter because they have been on the entire time is the parents, Ruthie, and Lucy. Kevin is also one of the best characters because he is the least annoying.

i am so happy it is coming back but it wont be the same with out simon and Ruthie.
I love Ruthie she is my favorite actress on the show and Martin is my favorite actor so i hope he will be in it too. I do think that Ruthie and Martin should be together.
And Simon has to stay he is the baby's father and has to help Raise it.
Please stay with the show guys!

Speaking from personal experience as a PK, 7th heaven is realistic in its portrayal of a minister's family.

Long story short, I hope the actors decide to stay because I enjoy the show... However, realistically, I understand that they may want more from their careers.

Simon may be growing up, but he's not there yet. And whatever happened to that logical boy who everyone called "the bank of Simon"? He wouldn't have lost all his common sense overnight even though he's gone through a lot of devastating experiences. Hopefully this season, Simon will exhibit more maturity.

As for Ruthie... Hopefully she will not go the bimbo route. She was always "the smart one." She got that scholarship to the private school and everything. Yeah boys are exciting, but I'd like to see her character show how brains and a good sense of self worth are more important than getting the cute guy to notice her. She's not a flake for god's sake and HELLO... Mary already went that route... Ruthie is too smart to have observed all her sisters' went through without analyzing how she wants to handle the same situations...

Even thought my favorite character is Lucy, the show wo...my favorite character is Lucy, the show wouldn't be the same. Anyway where would they say Ruthie went, because she is only going to be 16 in the show. So, again the show wouldn't be the same.

Yes I would like to see Simon and Ruthie, but my favorite actors are Kevin and Lucy so as long as they are on the show I'll keep watching. I cannot wait for the 11th season to start. I would love to see more shows about Kevin & Lucy's life as parents and husband and wife. PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Their all bad actors, but you just have to get over that! And whats with all the idiots getting on this site that can spell worth anything!! Go to school! The baby is Simon's, duh! And Ruthie and Martin should not be together they are three years apart for heaven's sake and the cw should stop tryng to make Ruthie look sexy she's sixteen for heaven's sake!! But that's not to say i don't love the show, it's just that it has it's flaws but what good show doesn't.

i would definatly not watch if ruthie and simon were not on because right now they bring most of the drama to the show and made it what it is today. it would ruin the show if they were not on. The show would stink.

I need Ruthie and Simon to come back to the show. It would definitely not be the same without them. We need them for the show or it will be a disaster. All the characters are all important we can't loose any of them. Simon needs to brake up with Rose and Sandy's baby can't be Martins because Martin needs to go to Ruthie so they can be together. Ruthie and Martin need to get together so the show will go on. And Sandy's baby shouldn't be Martin's it should be Simons and Simon should be with Sandy adn Rose should get off the show!!! Ruthie and Simon NEED to STAY on the SHOW!!!!!!!

I love ruthie and simon they are the best characters on the show by far.i hope Ruthie and Martin get back together. They were meant for each other.

I love 7th Heaven and understand that they are real people who have lifes too and have given 10 years of their childhood and life to this show but they are also two of the best characters on there and so talented I will still watch 7th heaven no matter what but I hope to see all 7 Camden kids on the show and Camden Grandkids.
Ps. I hope Sandy's baby is Simon's and that Martin and Ruthie end up together.

Simon and Ruthie have to stay!! if they leave there really will not be much of a storyline at all since Matt,Mary and Luay are all having twins thats all that will be happening. After watching 7th Heaven through all the seasons and watching the two of them grow up they can't just be taken off the show!!!!!!And replacing them will just screw everything up!!!

I absolutely love 7th Heaven. I think Ruthie and Simon should stay on the show until it is over. Also, I think that the whole clan should come back. Ruthie and Simon are my two favorite Camden kids. I couldn't imagine the show without them. They make the show have so much drama. I love it. Simon is really hot and deserves to stay on the show. So does Ruthie.

As for the rest it will mostly be about being pregnant etc. So you would need Ruthie and Simon to make it not so boring.

Announcing the Season Finale was also the end of the Series and then reversing that decision the following week made Dawn Ostroff and the CW look indecisive. Announcing the return for an 11th Season without even consulting with cast members made her and the CW look arrogant, not to mention stupid.

The thing I love most about this show is that it has always had the same characters and the actors have never changed. Those two are a big part of the show. I would hope that both stay, especially simon since they ended last season with him not getting married. I would still watch the show if they were not there.

The crazy Camdens will have more kids (of course) more ridiculous misunderstandings, and as always~ none of the kids will ever have a same-sex friend. Did ya ever notice that.....no wonder they all are so screwed up.

i swear if both dont come back i will never watch it again. They are both main characters that you need to see what happens. Ruthie is a lot like me and Simon reminds me of the relationship I have with my older brother.

I think that Ruthie isn't really in the midst of the big events on the last few episodes. It was mostly on the pregnancies of the older ones, and Simon and his relationships. So I think that Simon needs to be back and that Ruthie does not really have to be there.

Personally, i am not a fan of the new 7th Heavens... I think that the old ones were so much better. The show started going down hill right about when Kevin came into the picture. The guy CAN NOT act. Ruthie and Mary used to be the best people on the show but Mary disapeared and then Ruthie turned out so weirdly. I think the show should have eneded like 3 seasons ago.

Simon can't leave, I mean in the season finale he was the last person you see, plus its unclear whether Martin's baby is his or Simon's. Ruthie is growing up, you can't drop her until she's at least reached college. Plus you can't have Sarah in there if you don't have Simon! I don't care to see Rose again, Simon and Ruthie are originals, they can't just dissappear like Mary.

Ruthie might not return? What else could she possibly want to do? She isn't a good actress~ why can't she just be grateful for a good thing? Soemtimes these child actors think the grass is always greener....it won't be for her.
