From New Kid to Movie Veteran

Former New Kid on the Block heartthrob Donnie Wahlberg will be trying his hand at a regular TV series in The CW's new drama Runaway. But he's not new to acting at all. You can also catch him on DVD in big films such as The Sixth Sense, Annapolis and the acclaimed television mini-series Band of Brothers.

Are you looking forward to seeing Donnie every Monday night? Does he have "the right stuff" for becoming a serious screen star? He was our favorite New Kid back in the day, but who was yours? Oh oh oh oh oh!

The CW should pick up "Cuts" and EVE!!!!!

I am a huge fan of Donnie Wahlberg since NKOTB. Me a 31 year old still loving him.I still love him as my favorite. I can't wait to see him on TV.

Holy cow, now I definitely feel old. Did one girl say she was in the 2nd grade when NKOTB were hot? At least I was in jr high. Donnie was my favorite, and I thought he was so rebellious and cute. He's aged, and I guess so have I.

Oh my I don't wanna be left out of this one! Yep I was gonna be Jordan's future wife- hee hee! Very happy to see Donnie on CW.

Wait, wasn't DW the main character in Boomtown? He got a lot of critical praise for that role, too.

I was in second grade during NKOTB mania. I had Joey earrings. Big dangly ones. I wish I'd kept them, because how's that for a bit of 80's memorabilia?

I hope Donnie does well. Who wouldn't want to escape their teeny bopper past?

My favorite New Kid was Danny. Yeah, he looked like a monkey but I like that, k? I saw Curious George like 10 times.

Donnie will never be his bro, but I think that's a good thing. Mark Wahlberg's a total tool. BTW, Jonathan was my fave New Kid. I was sooo jealous when he dated Tiffany!

Talk about a blast from the past. I feel old now... I still remember New Kids mania! And now Donnie's all over the place. Joey was my favorite...

Oh, man, good to see a former teeny bopper making good. Sort of. But "Please Don't Go Girl" was my favorite song. Go Joey Mac!
