Some Gilmore Spoilers... But Do We Believe Them?
Gilmore fans, we're not sure whether or not to believe the spoilers we found circulating on fansites this week, so don't freak out just yet. The gist: Rory may be dating around, so-so developments on the Luke/Lorelai front, and oh, yeah, someone's having a baby (whether or not that someone is a Gilmore is anyone's guess). We don't want to reveal much more here, since some of you prefer to remain unspoiled. But those of you who simply can't resist a sneak peek into Stars Hollow's future, check out our Gilmore news page or sign up for the FREE Gilmore Gossip weekly e-letter.
Who do you think's preggers on Gilmore Girls next season?

Got such good spoilers...Luke and Lorelai apologize for all of the ugly stuff that led to their break up. "I was possessed by some evil spirit when i slept with christopher". Even though they say there will be no kissing or anything like that i think it will be very close to it. The next episode is when Lorelai finally goes into the diner and orders something. Lorelai has to ride a bike though cause her car broke down, so lorelai asks luke to go car shopping together where they have a big fight. BUT ITS A GOOD FIGHT!!! Lorelai sings along with either kirk or rory and miss patty along with babette. She sings kareoke the song called Fernando! The dollhouse gets ruined but then is fixed back up again, and the hat is all of lukes fault whatever that means! well loves ya gilmore girl 4eva...jamie xoxo <333

Luke and Lorelai is the best thing that ever happened to the show. Luke totally belongs with Lorelai and even though they are not together now in the season i bet it will be very soon that they are back together! Luke cant get out of Lorelai's life and Lorelai cant get our of Luke's life. They were made for each other and they know it! and if Lauren Graham or Scott Patterson and any other Gilmore girls cast memeber is reading this i just want to say that i love you all! thanks and bye i just wish there was some way to meet you guys. love ya xoxo jamie/gilmore girl

Gilmore Girls is the best show on eatrh. Lorelai sleeping with Christopher the night of the huge fight with Luke. That's what I call drama! it would be really cool to see an unmarried pregnat Lorelai. Emily and Richard would freak... which would be the fun part. Hopefully with Chris... hen rory can have a full-blooded sis/bro. I still love Gilmore Girls and I will love the CW foreever if it stays on air. I know every detail about Gilmore Girls and really want to see more. I do hope that L/L reconcile...where will they go for coffe? But, I would probably die if Gilmore Girls was CANCELLED. I've always liked Chris, but I LOVE the Lorelai and Luke chemistry. They should be together. I think in the end they will be. There is a lot of juice in this show... it just hasn't found its way out.

i think the baby should have been lorelai and rory's also then when they do decide to end the show it will be like it is starting over because everbody on the show is having kids it could be like dashvu

I love the Gilmore Girls and have more memoribelia than you can count!! Yet to end a season with so much time wasted on a bunch of singers was just an insult to the die-hard fans of GG!! How did all these strangers even fit into the storyline?? Please, please, please stop the Christopher drama. Luke and Lorelei should have been married a LONG time ago. That's a story line that could be built upon so wonderfully and could definetly be pure entertainment for the viewers. Yet we have been subjected to a long drawn out drama. The baby is Lane's?! Boring!! It should be Lorelei AND Rory!!!

just because jackson got a vasectomy doesn't mean Sookie can't get pregnant. there are cases where a guy gets a vasectomy and still gets his wife/girlfriend/etc pregnant. so who knows, sookie could get pregnant again, although it's unlikely.

All of the spoilers out there are terrible for those of us who liked the friendship of Luke/Lorelai. Probably won't watch the show if the spoilers turn out to be true. Re-do with Chris times 3,000. What's up with that storyline? Nothing new there; he's still not the one.
I'd like to see a question on this site that asks: Will you watch GG if Luke is gone and it's a Lorelai/Chris romance. Who would believe she left Luke and took up with Christopher immediately after (if written properly & in character not the way they ruined the show season 6)?
I'd like to see that poll.
I fear this show will be cancelled before they get L/L back as friends (not even thinking they'll ever be romantic partners again). Actually, I think Luke's better off without her. She's nuts. And I used to really like the Lorelai character. Now? Not so much.

I hate Luke.

I'm hoping that the spoilers I've heard are not true because they're so completely destructive to the show (and it is hard to believe that anything could be worse than Partings...but I've heard it is).
Lorelai again letting Christopher be a romantic partner is stupid and pathetic. I guess Amy fooled us with all of the info that Luke & Lorelai were the endgame. It's apparent that we're stuck with Lorelai & Chris. And that is an ugly vision I don't wish to see.
If that is the case, I'm not wasting any more time watching the show. I'll record it and decide at the end of the season (when I know the outcome from all of the Gilmore Girls Boards) whether or not to watch it. I'm sure that the advertisers won't like that, but I don't like what the writers have done to this formerly great show. And I won't waste any money purchasing DVDs of season 6.
If I wanted to watch soap operas, I'd watch daytime TV.

I think that Rory and Logan will get married and have a baby.

I love gilmore girls and i think season 6 was a great season. i loved all the logan and rory cuz they make such an adorable couple. im sad that logan had to go to london but im happy to hear that their still in love and going to make it work. OMG i hate luke and lorelia together. im sorry but ive always been a chris fan! caint wait for the new season!

It's not Sookie, because Jackson had a visectomy (sp?) after number 2. Unless she cheated on him...and that would be way too out of character for her.

SassyPaws I couldn't agree with you more.
Does the CW really think that this will be entertaining to GG fans? They're counting on bringing in younger fans for this show? It is doubtful than new viewers will begin to watch it because it is in its last season (season 5 should have been the end).
Don't these idiots that are now running CW understand that viewers were invested in the L/L story that Amy had promised (in the show and in numerous interviews) for years? Has anyone associated with writing GG for Season 7 even watched the show before? All of the promos that are out there indicate a very dramatic and boring rehash of Lorelai and Chris. Whoopie! We're going to see Chris dump her again or expect her to raise Gigi while he has fun!
Oh, yeah, that's compelling tv allright.

Okay, so Liz is having a baby and I now hear Lane is also preggers with twins. That's terrific (snark!). So not only did Lane get the wedding that most of us wanted for L/L, now she's going to have the twins that we thought we were promised in season 3. I suppose the writers just really wanted to twist that knife in our backs a little more because last year and the proposed story line for this year just wasn't quite painful enough, right? I mean after all there are still some fans hanging on hopeful for a return to something entertaining in this show. Evidently it is the goal of this year's team of producers to fully alienate all of the fans that so faithfully supported GG.

Don't know if it is true, but Luke is supposed to punch Christopher. Hope it is a fact. It will be the only thing entertaining about season 7 so far.
Sorry, but GG seems to have lost it and it is losing me as a faithful viewer. Well, last season I drifted away. I did, regrettably, watch the season finale. Terrible show. What happened to the writers? Did they ever watch their own show? GG was a disaster for most of last year.

Seriously? Babies? Tptb better think long and hard about a WTD storyline or even a still unmarried Lorelai being pregnant. Full circle? If the ending to Partings wasn't jumping the shark, this idea certainly would be.
Frankly, GG hasn't been particularly entertaining. I'm hoping that DR will bring back charming, witty, and intelligent storylines. Not the dreary soapish season 6 garbage. And lose Chris. Bring back Real!Luke and Real!Lorelai.
I'm concerned that GG will be cancelled before DR can rescue this show.

I don't think it is Sookie because remember Jackson had a vsetimy. And of course it's going to be Liz. But I heard there maybe more than 1 baby. If there is I think it may be Lorelai and Chris' baby.
Posted by: rachel | August 15, 2006 9:45 PM
Hey I love watching the gilmore girls I even have all the season up to 5.
I would love to see that Lorelai to be the pregnant one because then they have to try to figure out which one would be the father of the baby that would be interresting story line.
I really love to see luke more in her life because they are more made for each other. Not Chris he is always in and out of her life. I know that would get Emmily and Richard if she is pregnant again. Or Rory have a baby that would really get the grandparents as well. We all have to see how that would turn out.
The show is what we always watch and hope they keep them on longer instead of one year from what I was reading.

Liz and Lane (why did she deserve it? You may not think something more interesting for her? Pregnant at 22, yuk) are enough. Spoilers show the new show runner is the same old story that ruined the show. No one buys "I never really loved no one but Luke" and five minutes later sleeps with Luke's worst nightmare. Overall no one swallows that "it needed drama" crap. It needed to dislike the fans, turning the show into a soap opera and wasting half 6th and half 7h season.
I think I turning from a GG TV show into a GG fan fictions reader.
Posted by: Kurt | August 15, 2006 2:34 PM
Of course Liz is one of them. I also think the other baby could be either Lulu, sookie or Lane. I am voting for LuLu, cause it would be so funny to see Kirk as a dad-to-be. I wouldn't want it to be Lane, because that would suck for Hep Alien. And I think Sookie has enough kids. So LuLu is my choice.
Posted by: Stephanie | August 15, 2006 1:22 PM
of corse it is Liz but for the newsletter that says more then one baby i would say logan and rory it is almost to juicy not to be. i can feel it
Posted by: kaitlin | August 12, 2006 3:31 PM
Baby or no baby, GG is always my number one show. lets hope that it will remain the same in new season! ;)
Posted by: Alix | August 10, 2006 4:00 AM
The soon-to-be mommy? Luke's sister Liz, of course? It couldn't be Lorelai or Rory -- that would be too juicy!
Posted by: Amy | August 8, 2006 7:45 PM
The only one with child this season will be Sookie~which really doesn't matter to anyone.
Posted by: coolmom | August 4, 2006 11:00 PM
If you weren't worried about the fate of the show when you heard Amy was gone, you should be now. A baby? Really? Bye-bye Gilmore.
Will it be worth watching? Debateable. Will I still watch it? Absolutely!
