I would like Smallville to have an open and debatable ending when it does end. I liked and I say liked EDLois at the beginning of Season 4 but as the Seasons went on Chloe ruled my heart! I wanted to get on the Clois shipper wagon but unfortunately their was a better shipper Chlark/Chloiser... I do believe in the Chlois Theory if it doesn't happen then yeah it sucks and I think they made a mistake but what I love most about that show is the relationship, the amazing bond between Clark and Chloe had it has grown gradually and consumed the seasons. Beginning seasons 1,2,3 they were growing they argued, they didn't agree on many things Season 4 there was a change I think Pete's depature brought them closer together (Love Pete) and as she found out his secret and they became my favorite couple wheter romanctically or not on TV!

If EDLois and Clark got together S8 it would be rushed and a little out there...

But a Chlark ending...

Well who knows what the writers have got in store...

But a Clois ending is NOT for me it would be weak and in poor taste!

I'm not here to bash but simply to express my complete and utter devotion to CHLARK! I know that people like different shippers and I am sure they have their reasons! But CHLOE IS My favourite character on the show she is soooo amazing. Clark is her hero and I am patiently waiting for their realization that they are madly in love...hell I waited this long I can wait a little while longer, every Clark and Chloe scene just makes the whole episode it's just like awwww...

If I had to give my top 3 reasons:

He ALWAYS hears her when she calls for him

They HUG the BEST on that show, the way they hug just wow!

When they have gotten together it's been fun quirky and PASSIONAITE

They have this unbreakable bond and this AMAZING trust their true relationship hasn't even begun! I can't wait for more Smallville!!

Wow, alot of you have horrible spelling. Anyways, I wanted to start off by congradulating the smallville writers for making the show what it is. The actors/actresses are amazing - the whole crew does a great job. I can easily say that season seven is by far the best yet, please continue with season eight.
Chloe, Lex, Clark, and Lois provide great action and drama - it leaves me waiting for more.
To the writers who are one strike: without you, the show would be non-existant...you do such a great job and I seriously don't know what I'd do without smallville to watch every week. Please come back and write soon!

Now that its rumored Lex will be leaving at the end of season seven, wouldnt it be good for the creators to start chasing after the rights to have Bruce Wayne on the show? I know they've tried and failed in the past but public interest in smallville is running thin. Having the Dark Knight for a few episodes would really help because once Lex goes I dont see how smallville will get back on its feet.

I think that clark and chloe should be together because ,they are so perfect for each other. Clark needs to get over lana and move on like any other person would . So lana should be killed off the show. If not i'm going to stop watching the show!

Allison Mack is the force that holds the entire series together! She's the best actor/actress in the bunch, although I will admit that Michael Rosenbaum as Lex gives me the willies. I'd love to see Clark and Chloe together because Chloe has been so faithful to Clark all this time, despite his ridiculous on-again/off-again trysts with Lana.

i think clark should tell lana because if he did then he could be with her and then he should tell her all the bad stuff that lex has done. Lana needs to realize she made a big mistake... she cant lie to lex, even though i hate him so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i want oliver queen to come back!!

I'm worried about the future of Smallville. I still LOVE the show, but what the show could be, not what it's turned into -- a lead you by the ring in your nose soap opera. Cut the nonsense and romances that go nowhere. I wish the writers would pick a gal for "Clark" and stay there and then take off with the "Superman" thing to keep this show from becoming stagnant, which I fear it is in danger of. I think Tom Welling is the best Superman/Superboy I have seen in my lifetime, not just because of looks and what not, but also because he's captured the character as well as Reeve ever did. When this show does end, I'd like to see it end with a story line, not just fall off of a cliff-hanger because bad writing ruined it and caused it to be cancelled. As for Michael Rosenbaum: If he is indeed leaving the show, it doesn't mean the last of Lex Luther. All the writers have to do is use their imaginations and have something happen to "Lex" that somewhat changes his appearance and turns him into a really bad dude. That way, the writers won't run into the danger of working to change the whole "Superman" story all together.

I think Clark should do Lana then she should be like "I have STDs" and Clark should say "Oh yeah I forgot, but it doesn't effect me because I have superpowers" And that's how Lana should die. It would serve her right, that whore married Lex. That scumbag. She should have chosen Clark but she's a moron and deserves to die horribly from STDs. I mean she's not even as pretty as me!

I think that lana is going to get killed off. He is then going to be with chole for a little while while she develops her powers, whatver they are. I hope that she doesn't get the same powers as in season 3.

I think Clark should have a shot at all 3 of the superbabes with at least 2 or 3 episodes with Chloe and Lana moving to the final destination of Lois. Heck maybe they could even fight over him a bit. He could even date two at one time. (One as Clark the other as Superman, Lol) Of course, Chloe and Lana could both throw themselves at Clark only to be set aside for Lois. What if he got all three pregnant? (not on the same night of course) BTW, isn't it about time for CLark to start flying?

Quite frankly, they ruined the whole Superman love stiry. In the comic books, if any of the show's writers had even bothered to read it, yes Clark had a crush on Lana. She was the first person that he showed he could fly. But he is not supposed to be madly in love with her. Lois is supposed to be Clark's one true love. But carrying on the show the way they have, it is just so that they can have steamy kisses and emotion to hold on to. But, they have ruined it because the principle of the matter is that Lois is Clark's love but because of the tv lana clark thing, she will come second because Clark could not be with Lana. When we think of great love stories, we love them because its that forever kind of love, one and only..yeah one and only. They ruined it. Although yes Lana the actress is a very beautiful girl and I have have nothing against her but they majorly ruined it.

Clark and lana should be together this weeks episode at first started off awesome and the ending was like a horror movie.

The whole thing with Lana/Lex/Clark has got to stop. Lana just needs to go away, period. The character is just causing more problems than she solves, and it's so annoying to have listened to her whine like a mule about Clark's lies, but she turns around and buys Lex's farting and tap dancing hook, line, and sinker. I know she's starting to show signs of coming out of it, but come on...

Clark & Chloe - I think the episode 'Labyrith' said a lot. In Clark's hallucination, Chloe was the only one who believed in him, the only one who stood by him as he was, instead of trying to change him - exactly as she does every single episode. Even if they don't become a romantic couple, they have a very strong bond that I like a lot. I want to see it developed.

On another note about Chloe, I really liked her as the 'Command & Control' coordinator in 'Justice'. (I don't remember her call sign.) In fact, I'd love to see the CW produce a Justice League spin off. The chemistry with all the guys was great, and I think Chloe would be a perfect addition. She's a very strong character, and I really want to see her developed more.

As for Lois, I like Erica a lot. She's got the Lois attitude down pat, but there's still something missing for me. I can't quite put my finger on it, though.

Most of all, though, I really want to see Clark progress. I know they want to show his development towards becoming Superman, but I'm not seeing a whole lot of developing. In all of the tellings of Superman's beginnings, the death of Johanathan Kent was the event that really marks the dividing line between his boyhood and his manhood. It still seems to me that Clark is being portrayed as a pining, sheepish teen ager instead of a young man maturing to accept a greater responsibility to himself and his community. I really want to see him take the steps to become SUPERMAN, and stop being Above Average Boy. The events of 'Freak' showed me some slight hint of that, so I'm hoping it continues.

Chlark really needs to happen otherwise people who have been waiting for it to happen for agesbut it is so unfair that they haven't given it to us yet. Lana doesn't deserve Clark as all she wants to do is invade his privacy whereas when Chloe first found out she waited til he was ready to tell her. Jimmy's a nice character but he's not right for Chloe. Lana and Jimmy are just standing in the way of a perfect Chlark season. OK, I am so sick and tired of the Clark/Lana/Lex thing. It's so pointless. I mean just let it die or put Clark with Lana but stop trying to milk a quikly dying story. It's annoying and a waste of the fans time. Two DON"T YOU DARE PUT CLARK AND CHLOE TOGETHER. As a pure Chloe fan I am sick and tired of you pulling a her heart with hopes for Clark. She finally has Jimmy and he sweet and loves her. I'm so happy she is finally not stuck in a world of heartache as Clark continues to take her for granted. I wanted to see them together but this is better for her. And all you other Chloe fans should see that putting her back in the Clark fawning bull is unfair to her. So lets let Clark focus on the important hero stuff. AND leave Chloe alone.

I personally am tired of seeing Clark fawn all over Lana. I'd like to see Clark get over her already. Besides, Lana obviously has no problem getting over Clark (she's carrying another man's baby for crying out loud). That whole Clark-Lana-Lex thing is getting really old really fast. First of all...the only reason i watch Smallville is because I keep hoping that I will see Clark and Chloe finally get together. Clark needs to come to his senses and realize that Chloe is the only girl who knows his secret besides his mother, she is beautiful, respectable and dedicated to him. On the other hand Lana is so boring and she is very permiscuous. She doesnt deserve Clark and I wouldn't trust her with Clarks secret. She should just leave the show, maybe even get hit by a car. The perfect episode will happen like this: Clark will tell Lana that he hates her and she and baldy Lex deserves eachother. Then he will speed run to Chloe and get down one knee to express his love to her and ask her for her hand in marriage. She will then say "oh no, you took this long to see that I was perfect for you" and kick him to the curb. But Clark will do all he can to win her over, she will except and they will live happily ever after because they are the most perfect couple in the whole world.

She is so miscast. She looks about 40 years old with her thin wrinkled skin.

I honestly have never liked Lana except when she was with jason and getting towards happy now if they could just stop putting her through hell i don't think she'd annoy me so much. Now as for saying Erica isn't Lois Lane who exactly do you think Lois Lane is as a character, she is strong and independant and would not moon over Clark the way Chloe does in my personal opinion. I love Chloe but i think this season she has gotten a bit ahead of herself, putting Lois down for writin for a tabloid because she's in the basement of the daily planet, its not right they are cousins and were friends. Anyway my point is that Erica is doing a great job and I would like to see the writers develop and cement her passion for journalism and hopefully send some clois our way.

Differing opinions is not driven by lack of intelligence. It’s formed from past experiences, the current state of affairs, and what your desires, goals, and expectations for the future hold. We’ve all enjoyed the Superman saga over the many years; the comics, the tv series, and the movies. DC comics drive the canon that defines the framework of Superman including where he came from, how he came to be on Earth, his alignment towards doing good and protecting the world from evil (Lex), and the abilities that he possesses that enable him to perform this feat. However, the relationships that fuel Clark/Superman’s progress through life is left to artistic license to enable new and exciting entertainment for its viewers. This allows for wide differences between the comics, movies, and tv series. That is, if we always got the same substance and the same endings then that would dilute the surprise and twist elements that comprise an original production; the audience, including me, would miss out. I’ve enjoyed the comics and movies and series over the years (I’ve experienced them all), but for the current series, Smallville (and even possible upcoming second Superman Returns) I don’t want to know the way it turns out, and I sure don’t want it forced tightly into a mold that would inhibit it’s creators from delivering an exciting and original finally (twists and all).

Smallville has some extraordinary magic and chemistry that’s it creators have captured, nurtured, and grown. Lana is not annoying; she is currently in a rebounding and haphazard state caused by dramatic emotional events from lies, deception, and external efforts (Clark’s) to protect her which have all accumulated to keep her from establishing a firm grasp of who she is, what she believes in, who she can trust, and what she wants to become. Lana is in a limbo zone, and this is entertainment to the max, and not annoyance. Kristen Kreuk plays the Lana character with such perfection that it is simply amazing to witness beauty and talent to its finest. The chemistry between Lana (Kristen Kreuk) and Clark (Tom Welling) is the foundation of Smallville, and without it the show would be flat, lacking any magic to sustain the attention of the vast majority of its audience. Chole, Lois, Jason, Lex, gueststars, etc. all have primary roles in the series. Yet they also act as catalyst to experiment and fuel love triangles and emotional rivals. These triangles and rivals, together with Clark’s hesitation to fully reveal himself to Lana as an alien, form a barrier to keep Clark and Lana’s relationship from solidifying. Contrary to crushing a villain with his enormous strength, Clark even with all of his super abilities can’t wrestle through that human emotional web to win his heart’s desire. This again, is entertainment to the max. Currently, Lex has Clark’s treasure (Lana), and it seems like he is winning at the moment.

Lex is a very complicated character that volleyed between good and evil for many seasons and it is now becoming the anti-superhero villain we anticipated. His alignment towards evil is cannon but how he gets there is all up to the creators of Smallville, and it is simple awesome to experience. Lex is not annoying at all. Michael Rosenbaum is nothing short of terrific making us all believe that Lex was a rich but acceptable and even likable fellow at times, and then pulls us into a horrid darkness just when we thought he was going to be ok. I can’t say enough about how bad, yet wonderfully played, Lex’s character is evolving.

As an audience that has witnesses many stories of Superman, we all have expectations of how the ending must be. However, the canon only goes so far, and the creator’s of Smallville have artistic liberty to shape their story into an original and entertaining production, where the ending and how it is achieved is entirely up to them.

Lana is a treasure - beautiful, alluring, and hypnotic. I enjoy her acting and her facial expressions, including her mouth movements which are captivating. She is a worthy reward for Clark Kent who does his best to save to world. What does it gain Clark to save the whole world, and yet lose the very love that makes it worth saving. How such a treasure could be given to a villian like Lex is beyond me. Chloe and Lois are the best of friends for Clark but they don't hold a candle to Lana. With Clark and Lana done for, episode 100 became the last serious episode for me. Now I tune in hoping for a Superman-3 flip. I've bought all the eposides on DVD, but with no Clark and Lana I stopped myself from ordering the hi-def DVDs. I'm bummed.

OMG! Can't wait 4 the superheroes to unite! The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, Green Arrow, and Superman (Clark)! That's gonna be awesome!

OMG! I luv Lois and Oliver Queen, but isn't Clark supposed 2 be with her?

The Clark and Chloe chemistry is SIZZLIN!!! Seeing Clark and Lois together just does nothing for me. Whoever said Chloe deserves a hero and that she is the most perfect version of Lois Lane that's ever been personified on screen has got my vote. Two things to make Smallville perfect: A committed Clark and Chloe relationship and some hardcore super hero action from Clark.

I personally do not like Lana at all. Is her daddy the producer or something? It seems like the show is more about her than it is Clark. I think she is pretty, but not nearly as wonderful as they try to make her out to be. She is looking thinner and thinner each season. Not attractive. Also it seems like everytime she comes up in a conversation on the series, it is always about how beautiful she is and how perfect she is. That is getting so old. I don't care for her acting and I particularly hate her mouth movements. I wish they would kill her off too. She didn't have this important of a role in the comics. They need to bring some blonde action into the mix. Lana tries to hard and she is very annoying. IMOP. sc

Lana looks like a piglet? Seriously. How old are you? It's one thing to dislike a character but when you talk about that character's looks you're basically putting down the actor/actress who plays them. You wouldn't hear me saying Chloe looks like a Raggedy Ann doll...nor will you, because I think Allison's beautiful and Kristin is too. Have a little respect, people. Then again, you're probably only ten years old or something. It was like a miracle when the 100th episode came on and Clark proposed. Everyone wanted to see Clark and Lana like that. Then they broke it off and it was off forever. Now that Lexana are a thing you want Chlark to become a thing. Hopefully Jimmy Olsen wont get in the way. I like Lois just how she is on the show, bossy and rude and not in love with Clark. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in season 6!!!!!

I just dont understand clark's biological father won't let lana know the real clark even though chloe knows how he is. Is that fair that chloe knows not lana. I just blame clark biological father so he can be with lana and got married.

My co-worker actually got me interested in this show. And at first I was always wondering who this Chloe Sullivan chick was. I mean he was only always raving about her! Well, now I know. Chloe Sullivan is just the most perfect version of Lois Lane that's ever been personified on screen! Although I do love Erica as Lois to. But in a matter of speaking, CHLOE SULLIVAN ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY ROCKS!

P.S. My fellow Smallville fan (like myself) can't stand the angry & pouty Lana Lang of Smallivlle Land. I asked what he thought of her, and his exact words were "She's pretty, but a boring pretty." I think he said she was a little too thin for his tastes as well. But to be fair, he also said that every now and then she does look better than usual and he ends up doing a double take. But lastly and to quote his exact words "She ain't no Chloe Sullivan though!" At which point I really should have poured a bucket of ice water over him to cool him down.

Smallville has 2 choices for the iconic character of "Lois Lane": 1) Reveal Chloe Sullivan as the real "iconic Lois Lane" and go down in history as one of the most ingenious reinterpretations of the Superman mythology or 2) Lightswitch Erica's Lois into having a desire for journalism, and go down in history as having a "Lois Lane" who will forever be 2nd best to her cousin Chloe.

Who cares about "Lois" is right! The new ad showed everything I'm interested in for the next season - mythos, Clark, Lex, Chloe, the Planet, and Jimmy Olsen. Lexana is passible, Mionel is gross, I WANT CHLARK, and Erica Durance should go be on some other show entirely.

Here's hoping Chloe and Clark have more of their usual UST this season, even with Jimmy Olsen around.

Hmm, Lex and Lana I can just about stand but adding Clark to the mix? Ugh, no thanks. I wanted some Clark/Lois this year, but looks like with this Lex/Lana/Clark triangle, that dreams been shot to hell.

Thanks to the Season 6 Press Release, we now know, that really nothing has changed. Clark will have time to whine endlessly over Lana and Lex, AND apparently develope a thing for Lois. He's such a busy boy, isn't he? Apparently, season 5's wonderful Chloe/Clark is a thing of the past-definately a strange dream of fans who actually want to see something *good* and *worthwhile* on screen. No, but what is it - 3 seasons of indifference to Lois is now magically "jealousy"? Kryptonite-induced by a stragetically placed metorite on Lois' person, no doubt.

And you know, if we're lucky and are all all good little boys and girls, he just *might* do something super. If we're lucky.

Smallville is a great show, looking forward to Season 6. I'm excited about the new characters. I just hope they don't forget to continue to develop the old ones.

Okay, I'm probably going to get crucified for this, but I am SO OVER Clark and his romances. Maybe he should stick to saving the world instead of being distracted by every girl that walks into his path! I think women should be like kryptonite for him -- he needs to stay away!

Lana looks like Piglet. I wish they'd just kill her off the show for real, not like in the 100th epi.
