Someone's Hiring Amy Sherman-Palladino...
Whether you loved her or hated her, you probably had SOMETHING to say about Amy Sherman-Palladino leaving Gilmore Girls. Not one to stay idle for long, she's already got a new project in the works. According to Ausiello at Tvguide.com, the new pilot's "a half-hour dramedy about two estranged sisters who reunite after one of them agrees to carry the other's baby." Yeah, but the real question is, are there troubadours?

I'm waiting anxiously for Amy and Dan new show on Fox! They're great and Gilmore Girls is one of my favourite show ever. The Network is the only responsible for the closing of the show. Amy and Dan worked very hard and created and excellent product (here in Italy it's a great success too!)... and how where they compensated? See what ABC did whith Shonda Rhimes, I don't think it's the same treatment... SHAME ON YOU CW!!!!!!!!! I hope the great success of Jezebel James will make you cry.

It may sound silly, but the Gilmore Girls has deeply affected my life. Rory immediately became my hero, and whenever I was compared to her by my mother, I knew that I must be on the right track. But suddenly, the character began to change, and it became evident that Mrs. Palladino was my true hero. She created a show about an unrealistic mother-daughter relationship which women everywhere could enjoy and work towards becoming. This ficticious town became my home on tuesday evenings. I do not really care about the reasons for Mrs. Palladino's absence, all that I can say is that with her wit and creativity, she made a girl in Alabama a place of comfort and consistency, in a world that was constantly changing.

I don't think any of you even know what you are talking about...or you would not be blaming Amy Sherman and Dan Palladino. The people at WB wouldn't give Amy and Dan what they asked for - a bigger staff - and they left. Can you really blame them? It is not THEIR fault! And I hope the people that did this to them realize their mistake now that it is obvious Gilmore Girls is terrible this season without them.

I am so heart broken that she deserted her show. I am mad at her and at the network for not giving her what she wanted. I will not watch any show on the CW besides Gilmore Girls, but I will watch Amys new show on fox Because she is clearly talented.

After you air your idea, people watch it.
There are legal rights and moral rights.
After so many people grew fond of characters and stories they belong to the fans too.
Most of us will never forgive *** for killing Luke and Lorelai.

do you people at all realize that amy and dan did not write every single episode. they were the creators and tried to keep it on track, but it is amy's show and she already had the idea of how it starts and ends, so how can you say she ruined something that was all her idea in the first place?

After destroying their own baby (Gilmore Girls), I wouldn't watch anything they are associated with again.
Never.

Amy and Dan are talented writers but I worry that they have lost their creative edge (look at what they did last year on GG). I won't be watching their new show should it get picked up by the network. No way will I ever trust them again! They take too much pleasure in teasing and torturing their fans.

Yeah, uh, good luck with that!

Won't watch anything associated with Amy and Dan.
They may have created a great show with GGs (which I loved for 5.3 years) but they trashed & burned it on their way out so I don't trust them.
Never again Amy.

Odd premise for a new show, but with such great writers, I don't doubt it will be a success! Those 2 are smart, witty ,and they know what the public wants.

Good to see Amy's getting work, but... what a strange premise for a show! I'm so sick of surrogate mother stories. Once I saw it on Friends I was like eh.
