I would really love to see a season 8. I mean REALLY REALLY Love a season 8. I'd like to see Luke and Lorelai married and pregnant. And even thought Milo Ventimiglia is all Heroes now have him come back for just a few episodes with Rory and have them end up together. They are supposed to be together!!!

I quit watching Gilmore Girls a while back but Logan totally caught my attention again. It's really sad that the writers decided to just write Logan off like that. I think he built Rory's character to be who she is today and he should continue being in her life. Perhaps Rory might realise that he truly is the ONE in season 8 and Logan will come back ... he did come back after the supposed "break up" earlier ... *Fingers crossed*

omg omg omg this can not && should not be the last season of Gilmore Girls?? Is it true that Logan asks Rory to marry him and she rejects him and brakes up with him this totally sucks....I love this show so much they have to make a 8th season I have season's 1-6 on DVD and I totally can not wait until the 7th season to come out I actually have stopped watching the 7th season on CW just so I can watch it all when it comes out this totally sucks I always imagined that the last episode will be the marriage of Rory and Logan (he is so hot) and Lorelai and Luke getting back together and Lorelai being pregnant... this totally sucks Gilmore Girls must must must make an 8th season for the Fans!!

I just hope that Rory and Logan stay together!!! they are so cute and have been through a lot that would be a really awful way to end the show! I need more quirkiness back it seems that the show has lost that quick talking wit that made the gilmore girls famous.

I still want to know what astrology sign Lorelei is I'm betting Gemini. I want some of the quirkiness back in the writing, that and the quick witted fast dialogue!

ok whoever thought that this marriage between lorelai and christopher was gonna last was retarded... he was under "guest star" and they didnt even show the wedding... how can they show sookies wedding and now Mia's wedding and not even show Lorelais, the GILMORE GIRL, if its not going to last? i love luke and lorelai and i really hope they get back together but dont rush into things... and i really hope there is a season 8 because tuesday is probably my favorite night of the week because of this show... and whoever says its just a show then they are right but its an AMAZING show that makes you feel like you are a gilmore girl with them.

Well for all you Chris + Lor fans.. well, too bad for you because that crappy marraige lasted about 2 seconds because they rushed into it and I beleive Chris will no longer be in Lor's life. Luke all the way! And I'm very happy with what I hear in all the spoilers except I can't wait that long! And also I do agree the show is getting a little boring and they need to do something big to spice it up, but other than that long live GG!

This is my first time posting and my first visit ever to a Gillmore mostly because I can't believe what they are doing the story dynamic of the show. I had to come see what other people think cuz Lorelai looks like a crazy person.

She breaks two major relationships and continues walking perky and talking bright. What person would be Miss Sunshine in such a state of twisting hearts? My face is in a kinda scrunched up expression of: 'Huh?" I bought her breaking up with Luke--there was no chemistry there...and he would never word play with her, he was the thing in the room she danced around and enter Christopher who would play with her and I thought; yeah that works and now she looks like a crazy person and I'm turning the set off. Can't bear the sound of her bright voice--she looks, really, she looks nuts. Rory doesn't sound much saner---just all bright chirp and who are these people? The breakup of a marriage is a heart wrenching thing no matter the circumstance...there is a bond created and this show is in deep denial of the human heart. So, so, strange.

i have all six seasons of gilmore girls. i first started watching the show because i remembered lauren graham from another show and liked her acting. then i saw the beginning episodes in syndication and became completely devoted to it, that is up until amy and dan palladino left the show. i was afraid the show wouldn't be the same but i wanted to give the new guy a chance so i continued to watch the seventh season. after only 3 episodes, i couldn't watch anymore. the characters of lorelai and rory became almost stupid in the things they would say, need i remind anyone of 'desert sushi' or a whole scene discussing pickles. i had to watch NCIS until i heard that luke and lorelai might be headed back into each other's arms. now, i was still skeptical of the show the other night 'philidelphia one' but i loved it. david r must have started watching the old seasons to understand the references these characters make and the family history and how to play out a scene with depth and a little dry humor because i felt like i was watching my show again, my fav show; the characters were now smart, sassy, coffee loving, reference speaking characters that i can relate to. now i will watch again with a hope for an eighth season if the writing stays on track. and i hope for an luke and lorelai reunion because they deserve to be happy, and they are right for each other.

everyone who is freaking out about the show is weird because its just a SHOW! so who cares who ends up togather its just entertainment, get it!

I've always pulled for Chris. I love the chemistry between lorelai and Chris, so I hate that apparently the marriage is not going to last. I wish the writers would surprise us.

this season is making me mad.i have to force myself to watch it.until 7.13...this season will suck.

I love luke and Lorelai together. they make a better couple than her and chris. And even though they broke up, and her and chris got married they are eventually going to get back together. Chris is not good for her. he had his chance many times and backed out. Luke is a great guy and just needed to figure out his situation with April and Anna before he actually married her. I have a feeling that Chris will be out of the picture for good and luke will be in for good very soon. I also have a gut feeling that Luke and Lorelai will get married sometime this season.

Okay I got some inside that Luke and Lorelai will be getting married at Martha's Vineyard. Don't ask me how i know this but all I can tell you is this might be a very happy time for the Luke and Lorelai fan club.

i for one am disgusted.. as i read the first few comments it was alright but as i read the ones supporting chris i HAD to stop. How can anyone like chris? He took advantage of Lorelai in a bad situation. I admit that Luke was a big jerk about April but he did it unintentionally. I know that isnt an excuse but think. Who has been there for Lorelai and loved her? DOn't say chris because he is just a whimp. Just because he "loves" her which is a completely idiodic doesnt mean that she loves him. She loves Luke, thats allt aht matters. I am sure that she went to Chris seeking a friend but HE had to take advantage of her in a vulnerable state. That is just cruel. I have had this deep hatred for chris for a while but now.. after seeing him force Lorelai into marraige.. well that blew me over the top. The new writers really do not know what affect they are having on people. After all, everyone will be dissapointed at the end. WE all know that someho hopefully Luke and Lorelai will be back together. Chris is going to leave. But what will that do? That wont change anything that they are doing right now. It is killing me to watch the show in its current state but i honestly dont think it will get better. It was doomed the moment Lorelai went in the bed with.. you know who. Well that is my opinion. Ok. I am a big Luke & Lorelai fan all the way. I mean don't get me wrong, I like Christopher and everything, I just can't stand what she did to Luke. Luke has been nothing but good to her and that's how she repays him, and so quickly too. I mean, the night she broke it off with Luke, she had to go and sleep with Chistopher and than they get married?! I think Rory should have a say about this, even thought it is her dream to have her parents back together, she also needs to stand up to Luke, who (in earlier episodes) she probably sees more than her dad.

Come on everyone needs to lay off Luke about being a jerk. So he had a relationship with someone that was serious, and she got pregnant and she decided not to tell Luke until YEAR'S Later. But could you imagine all of sudden you are with the women you have always wanted, and you find out that you have a kid you knew nothing of. Come on, he was scared as any man could be. And not to forget Luke is not one that spreads his business around the town. All he tried to do was build a foundation with his daughter and at the same time he had to worry about what this was going to do with his life with Lorelai, She does have this need to be the focus point, I can see why this would make Luke a little moody & pulled back. All of sudden Luke had to learn how to share his love with 3 women, including Rory. We all know how much He love's Lorelai and Rory, and that's a lot to deal with, He had to worry about how this would affect Lorelai and April, and not to mention his daughter's Mom was not exactly making it easy for him, she did not want Luke to let April get to know Lorelai until they got married and we all know when your put in a spot wit your kid's it's not easy, Luke could not take a chance and loose the child he never knew Come On this would make anyone moody,But at least he did not turn his back he did the right thing. Luke is a good as they come, he has always been there for Lorelai and Rory and he always gave Lorelai what ever she wanted, He waited on her for years and through dozen of relationships and I can't think of many time's at all that Luke was not there for every event in Rory's life, but I can name several where Chris was not there. But this show is really mess up. I have watch every episode, believe me! I had no choice my wife made sure I watch it with her, or I did not watch Monday night football. And I could not let happen!!!

I also have to add this, I do not like the idea that Chris will be living in the Gilmore house. Sure it's always been Lorelai's & Rory's home. But when Luke spent so much time on remolding the house. For them to live in when they married. When Luke bought a house for Lorelai and him to live in, Lorelai wanted to stay in her house. And Luke gave her what she wanted and that was to live in the house Lorelai called home. Which I adore Luke for that, He did not want Lorelai or Rory to have their life's any more complicated then it already was. But it's not right that Chris moves in and sleeps in the bedroom that Luke remolded for Lorelai and him. And Lorelai should have nightmares for letting Chris move into the home she was about to share with Luke, She knew Luke wanted to marry Her, He wouldn't had done all this if he had no intension to marry her, That's how I see it.

Every week I tell myself I'm done. I will not watch Gilmore Girl's any more, But then I get to thinking, surly they will work on getting Luke & lorelai back together. But after to night I don't see that happening. I know Luke had a little problem with showing affection, but he had alot to take in this year along. Finding out he has a child and so on, it's unbelievable how the writer's have change the whole show. Lorelai acts if she never loved Luke, it's like she said, oh I guess I will sleep with Chris after breaking up with Luke, I'll get back with Chris today and tomoorw I will marry him. I miss Luke & I miss the whole ordeal with Lorelai stopping by Luke's diner daily for her coffee and watching the two of them be in amaze with each other. And Luke has always been there for Lorelai and Rory, Come on everyone know's that. Everyone knew they would be together, they belong together. And I do not like the way the writer's had Lorelai to get over Luke basically over night, It's like she never loved him. They went way to fast with this Chris & Lorelai ordeal. I expected Lorelai and Luke to realize how much they loved one another and for Lorelai to break up with Chris, and I truly thought they would have gotten married. I'M sure the Gilmore Girl's Hayden Show will not last another season. At least not the way it's looking.

To night was it for me with Gilmore Girl's. My hope's for Luke and Lorelai getting back together ended to night, When I saw the look on Luke's face when he noticed her wedding band. I truly hate the way the writers have change everything. At first I thought Luke & Lorelai would get back together, and he would forgive her for sleeping with Chris of the same night of their break up, but to ask him to forgive her for marring Chris is way too much. We have watch Luke & Lorelai long for one another from the first show. It has always been Luke & Lorelai, He was the one there watching Rory grow up. No matter what happen with Lorelai or Rory, Luke was always the one that came running to the rescue or too give his shoulder to cry on, and Lorelai to him. When she needed a loan to buy the Dragon Fly, Who did she go to for the loan? Luke that's Who! Chris was always a heart ache and that's all. Remember Rory's graduation from high school, Who was right there with Lorelai, crying none the less? Luke Not Chris. When Rory lost her virginity, Luke was the one who was mad and wanted to jump on the guy, where was Chris? It's seem's to me that Rory has always had the two dad's. But none the less Luke loves both Lorelai and Rory, And who really cares what Emily and Richard think or who they like, they like no one that is beneath their standards and that's money honey! And nothing else. If Luke had came from a Social back ground they wouldn't have a problem with him. But on the other hand they knew Lorelai and Luke belong together, that's why they bought them a house. So tell me who was meant to be.

i for one am sick of luke. i never thought they had much chemistry and he's BORING! chris and lorelai have a deeper connection and a witty banter that is fun to watch. they're dynamic and unpredictable and that's why i love them together!

What is wrong with you guys? How can you possibly turn to Chris? Think back. To the first season when Chris had so much growing up to do it wasn't even funny. He didn't raise Rory, Luke did. Last nights episode was great because of Chris' face when all those dads at parents week were talking about how they miss their kids faces when they where little. I loved that :). Lorelei and Chris have both history and chemistry. It is right that the find their way back to each other. Doesn't anyone remember that Lorelei ran out on Luke initially and had rory all by herself? Now they are finally at the right place to be together and I would love to see Lorelei get pregnant this season with Chris' baby to have a sibling for Rory, hopefully at little brother.
Luke is a loser, full of his own problems and he really dragged down L. last season.

I have been watching GG since the begining and it is getting so good. I rooted and loved Luke and Lor for so long (Chris had some growing up to do) but then they finally got together and he turned into such a jerk. Now I am so loving Chris and Lor. They are and have always been soul mates ( I mean did you see the Gilomore's wedding?). I am so excited to see them actually have a chance. Now if we could just find a way to get Logan back down here. I miss him and Rory.

i dont know why everyone is so mad at this season. luke screwed up BIG time and lorelai went to chris for comfort. if you look back, luke was such a jerk for the last half of last season. sure he was cute and nice when he is with april, but honestly he made a big fat mistake. chris is absolutely adorable with lorelai, and i'm actually liking their realtionship. i mean i am like the biggest luke/lorelai fan out there, but honestly you cant expect luke and lorelai to get back together (at least not this season). the new writer is doing a great job at the characters, and bringing gilmore humor back. honestly, i think we all need to chill and let things roll. we all know luke and lorelai are perfect for each other- but in reality, last season sucked and made me hate luke.

C'mon Guys! GG is my FAVORITE TV show, but even I am in grips with reality here! These are TV show characters. Some of these posts lead me to think that you people feel that these are real people! Just started watching tonites show and already Chris and Loreli are boring me. Rory and Loreli both have regressed into needy females. This is the only TV show my family has watched together the past four years and now my husband and sons think its become too boring to watch.Your ratings are already dropping , please try to restore this show to the witty charming show it once was. Rory and Loreli were once strong role models, but now they are weak and needy.

Lorelai may look comfortable with Christopher because she has such a long history with him, but she hasn't given herself time to get over Luke. Once it really hits that he's gone from her life she's going to have a major breakdown. Look out christopher the men in her life are the ones to usually take the hit when lorelai's confused. I don't see them lasting too long.

I would be so outdone if that happens! Chris is alright, but he could have been "right" long ago. Lorelai and Luke have struggled through lonliness and moving on only to finally get on the right train which is now being wrecked! What's going on?

I just have one thing to say on the Lorelai & Christopher subject. In the episode where Lorelai was going to marry Max Medina (remember him?), who was Lorelai thinking of when she was at her shower, and then called to say she was getting married? Christopher!!!!! Not Luke! Lorelai has always been in love with Christopher. Luke was just someone she felt safe with. That is until he showed her how unreliable he really was. L & C forever!!

I get that some of you are die hard L and L fans but give it a rest they're not together and should they really be after how luke handled himself LET IT GO!!

Eventhough I think Christopher has very doggish ways and may not be the right match for Lore I am so over hearing about Luke and Lorelai, I'd much rather hear about Chris and Lore a new budding romance.

Christopher makes me want to throw up.And I absolutely agree with mandy.What's with the history thing?!Lots of people have a history with eachother but that isn't necessarily a good thing.ASP(in the last several episodes of season 6) and DR (in season 7)have reduced Luke and Lorelai's characters into that of to two spoiled,stubborn little children in a fight,neither of which is willing to accept their share of the blame,both incapable of talking about things.Lorelai used to be strong-willed and independent,and now she's being portrayed as a weak woman who just can't live without a man- any man - in her life.She wasn't like that,she thought things through and now they're making her look like she's emotionally retarded.

Please please,show writers get GG back on the right track.Anything other than Luke and Lorelai getting back together for good = thumbing your noses at all the loyal GG viewers who have watched for 6 seasons waiting for L & L to finally get together and stay together

Like most of the people who have already commented, I think that this show is quickly coming to a halt. There is a reason for the drop in ratings, and there is a reason for such unhappiness. Yes, many people were first upset because AP was gone, but people continue to be unhappy because DR ha decided to put his own spin on this show. This is not the show that you can come in and make changes to, it can't and won't work like that. After 6 years, and a mass of people being devoted to this show, we expect characters to act a certain way and we have higher expectations for the witty banter and the complicated references. This show WAS like lightening in a bottle, you can't recreate that. So DR: either buy yourself the season of GG on dvd and learn what this show is about, or find someone else who can do the job!

These figures are for market share. More people are watching TV - that always happens this time of year - but a lower percentage are choosing Gilmore Girls. It's only a slight drop, but didn't The CW expect their share to grow as viewers "found" the new station?

The show isn't performing the way The CW hoped it would. And most complaints one hears, both online and offline, are about Luke and Lorelai. It's viewers from that "established fanbase" who are tuning out and giving up. Some find it depressing and others say it's just boring now. A crucial element that was part of the show from season one, long before those two got together, is missing now.

Some viewers will swallow Lorelai whatever she does as long as she appears "happy". But a substantial minority are giving up. The question is how many new viewers, who don't know the history, replace them.

i've watched EVERY episode -- and i LOVE Chris and Lor - think they're GREAT! bring it! (think they've got the spark!)

This whole thing with Chris and Lorelai is really gag- worthy. They have no chemistry and what is this history that people think is great?! the fact that he hurt her so many times before, is that the history people are leaning towards? Have you people forgotten the end of season 2? If this had happened all pre-Luke, maybe it wouldn't be as bad. I might've even rooted for them then. But after all this time, Chris is still as immature as the first time that his character was introduced into the show (except now he can be because he doesn't need to grow up because he's loaded with his dead grandfather's money) And even if it had been 6 weeks, that's still way too fast to get over someone after getting out of a relationship that Luke and Lorelai had. The only thing I enjoyed in the fourth episode of this season was the conversation between Lorelai and Sookie, as she hacked through the excessive amounts of gourds with her cleaver.

first of all the whole Lorelai Chris thing is just disgusting to watch. there's ZERO chemisrty between them. As if I was watching siblings kissing (gross!!!). He makes her acts as if she was 16 again and it's not how an almost 40 years woman should
This show is loosing every point and logic. The whole thing people loved about it, is suddenly changes 180 as if all the last 6 years were just a lie.
David Rosenthal just cause you put some jokes from previous episodes doesn't proves you saw them and actually got them, cause your writing proves you have NO IDEa what you're doing.
Where's the GG I always loved and were faithful to? Cause right now it's just some groos hybryde. there's no magic, there's no charm, there's NO LOGIC and point there.
Lorelai doesn't look as if she was enjoying any bit of it and yet you're selling us this shit.. well this is the moment I say good buy, cause there's no point there to watch suddenly a new show that only uses the names of old characters of a show that once was the most original and special out there. right now I'm just disgusted and feel betrayed that I put 6 years of watching totally for nothing!!!

I miss the style and the wit. As Emily puts it, Lorelai is always making jokes and being funny. They are always making references to things that you need a A Guide to Gilmore-isms just to figure out. It was awesome. This season is definetly lacking that flair.

I am a very devoted Gilmore Girls fan. I own all 6 seasons on DVD and was looking forward so much to season 7. I am disappointed. I really liked Luke and Lorelai's chemistry before they started dating and when they first started dating. They were so cute together. Then they added April (I did not like that at all but I guess they needed conflict of some kind) and Luke did not handle it well. He treated Lorelai like dirt. I don't like Chris either because he did the same thing. Every time he came back into Lorelai's life, he has messed it up. Lorelai just needs to find a new man. And you need to bring back Logan. His being gone has made Rory off and we miss her usual self. Hopefully things will improve but if they don't, I don't think there is any hope of there being a season 8...and wouldn't that be a shame.

i like luke... i think he's great... but.... Chris and Lorelai have got the *WOW* factor -- love them, love their history!!

I want to post a new topic. Why was the six season of gilmore girls DVD had no extras like the first five. That really was a down for me.

The show is moving along just fine and the ratings are going up each week. Rory's new friends are very strange. They don't fit Rory at all. She's bringing two strangers home after just meeting them? Get Logan back with Rory ASAP. Now there's a great couple.

i am so upset that my favorite show is being ruined by someone who appears to be very anti what the show stands for. i never heard of a show that tried to torture its fans. this methodology is not going to save the show . the interaction between l and l is the heart of the show and it is utterly absent. also april's contstantly rolling her eyes upwards in a very staged fashion detracted from the positive aspects of her performance.

IF Ausiello's report is true then it might be the KISS OF DEATH. There are a lot of fans who are hanging on to each and every episode in the hopes that Luke and Lorelai will finally have a happy middle. If all hopes are dashed by this news WHY BOTHER TUNING IN? PLease DR give us some sign that all is not lost?

I personally liked the show. I don't care for Chris and Lorelai as a couple but I still like the show. I believe that eventually Lorelai will realize that Chris is not
who she wants...an I see a divorce coming if they do end up married. She will eventually get back together will Luke. I am sticking with the show through the rough times. It will get better, I believe it.

Overall the episode was good. The issue is with C/L. She's fooling herself and its just stupid and painful to watch. We all know she only loves Luke. And I get the whole, she needs to realize what she wants, and its a long journey thing, but this is getting ridiculous.

Is it really necessary for C/L to be doing all this, for us to watch episode after episode of Lorelai being an idiot and lying to herself, even marrying Chris, before she realizes its Luke for her?

I'm going to stick with watching, because i'm in with this journey and I know L/L are meant to be. But after one episode of C/L I'm already sick and tired of her going along with this gifts and expensive dates and everything. that's not Lorelai, that's not what she's about, that's not what she wants. And if Chris can only give her those material things, then she better wake of quick and get with the program and realize that Luke's the only one she loves, the only one that truly gets her and the only one she belongs with.

This show is getting so terrible! You know the network realizes that too when they actually had to show scenes for upcoming MULTIPLE episodes rather than just one epsiode to let ppl know what will happen.

So why can't this site post stuff on other shows the next day, like 7th Heaven? Why are GG, VM, Small, and Super the only 4 shows that get a "what did you think" post here the next morning? Especially VM...I mean come on! Are ppl actually watching? Does the near 50% retention rate in Households, out of gilmore girls, mean anything to the CW?

I feel that complaining about the chris and lorelai relationship is being a poor sport!!! The show is changing. DEAL PEOPLE!!! Chris is way better than the now sad depressing luke!! We have to face facts that luke screwed up the relationship. Lor sat there and let him treat her like crap and didn't say anything and once she did luke did not respect her opinon at all. Luke messed up and now he has to pay the price!!

After 7 years of being a devoted file, I will no longer watch GG. The writing has turned Lorelai into a weak idiot. I don't like Chris. The show sucks. The writing is really really bad. My sister said she fell asleep. No way were Chris and Lorelai to be together. ANother good show down the toilet.

I love Gilmore Girls and I love Chris. Lorelai and Chris deserve to be happy togeather.

Well, if Ausiello's info is accurate, it may be a deal-breaker for many Gilmore fans. I think it will also be the beginning of the end for L/C. Lorelai wasn't looking all that enthusiastic about being with Chris, more like she had to talk herself into it. I don't see much between them, and thought they had better chemistry in earlier seasons. They are equally pathetic, though- that is something they have in common. DR, the idea behind good storytelling is to avoid sabotaging your main character. This woman doesn't resemble the Lorelai Gilmore many of us once admired and enjoyed.

I am in minority here.. I love Chris and Lorelai together. I like Luke, but not when he's with Lorelai. I just don't see the chemistry between the two.

I can see I made the right decision in not watching last night. I may never watch again if this development comes to pass. After Lorelai pulls this stunt, I won't want her and Luke back together...not because I'm mad at Luke, but because I'm mad at her. Luke deserves better. Mr. Rosenthal, there's a reason last season's fourth episode scored 6.08 million viewers (zap2it.com) and this season's fourth episode scored only 4.77 million viewers. Christopher, aka ratings killing jerk.

i didn't watch 7.04 and i will not watch it. i'm not watching til 7.13, but i read spoilers constantly and all i have to say is: LORELAI IS QUEEN OF DENIAL!
i just hope that poor woman will not have traumas from being in relationship with chrisss. i just ask myself does she think about luke when she's having sex with dopey. i wouldn't be suprised.

I LOVED episode...so much of it was spot on great! Emily was fabulous as per usual. April and Luke have become something to really enjoy and the easy chemistry between Lor and Chris is just so much fun to watch!

If Ausiello is saying what I think he is, I think it's an okay storyline as long as it doesn't stick. Like, she realizes she's made a huge mistake and gets back with Luke.

Then again, that makes Lorelai look super stupid, and no one wants to see her crash and burn.

I'll be returning back to the Peace Corps soon, but I'll be checking this from time to time. This is da best blog on da 'net!!

This cannot be happening! NOOOOO! I will officially boycott Gilmore Girls if this is true! I'm freaking out. I can't believe I'm so upset about a TV show, but I am. This is just a complete betrayal of the characters AND the fans!
