When Brooke and Lucas are together you can see how much they love each other. You can just tell. Having leyton is just boring. I dont see the romance and love between them like i see with brucas!

Im a leyton fan and i think that it is clear lucas and brooke are not meant to be!! There is so much frickin evidence! In the 4th season, both Brooke and Lucas agree that the love which Whitey described at the athletic banquet was not a reflection of their relationship at all. Which means that they are not soul mates! Plus, Lucas wrote a damn book about how his life was complete and how much clarity he recieved in the state champs episode when he finally realized that peyton was "the one" and had been "the one" all along!! TEAM PEYTON ALL THE WAY :)

honest to God I think jake should come back and him and peyton should be together...lucas and peyton are nice and what not and they have this whole tortured and broody thing going on but thats not real love...the way peyton and jake looked at each other never compared to the way lucas and peyton did....besides, lucas, i think, should just stick with lindsey. When brooke and lucas broke up the last time they said that they didn't feel about each other the same way whitey felt about camilla and that that's what they wanted...so it was better for them to stay as friends...i think that was the perfect way to close the brucas chapter forever. Yes they were cute and they had chemistry but I qualify them as a highschool romance...not as a forever thing. Now Lindsey and Lucas were good together...so he should have just stayed with her...besides, even after the whole wedding debacle he didn't go after peyton...that tells you that he didn't love her, that he stilll loved lindsey.

BRUCAS forever and ever!!!! peyton and lucas do not match at all. peyton can be considered one of the villains of the story if you consider who she always ruins lucas's life. when brooke and lucas were together she didn't even think of him but when they got together she all of a sudden realised that she was in love with him.. when he proposes to her, she says no.. when lucas and lindsey are together she once again realises that she wants him. she makes him break up with everyone. anyway in the 3th season, when lucas was on the basketball court with rachel and he had to throw with his eyes folded, it was stated that if he had scored, it would mean that he and brooke were meant to be together. and he did score. i honestly don't understand why do they have to push leyton. it's boring and crappy. i want brucas!!! i'm starting to get really dissappointed with my favourit show!

First of all i'm on team "Peyton". i don't know how it happened , but my feelings steered that way. I think that Brooke needed attention and when Lucas was there she claimed to love him. Peyton on the other hand had feelings for him, and as her feelings grew for Lucas she kept them inside for love of her "best friend" if that's not true love i don't know what is. Clearly Lucas settled for Brooke in season 1. Yes, Peyton was confused that night at the party, but she did go to Luca's house to tell him how she felt. Lucas clearly went to his second choice, Brooke. That's where Peyton decided to keep her love for Lucas. There is no question that they were meant for each other. From the moment he saw her, he Loved her. She, afraid and insecure from her relationship with Nathan, saw Lucas and felt something for him, which she later realized was something far greater than just attraction. She Loved him. Everyone saw it...Brooke was just too buisy trying to fill the void in her life with a cute boy, her best friend's cute boy. Is that a friend? She knew Peyton liked him. So, Peyton has priority from the begining and she should not be judged otherwise.Lucas just needed to open his heart, for his eyes only saw Brooke.

Peyton is a horrible friend. She cannot make up her mind and by doing so, she always ends up hurting Brooke. Lucas is also a horrible guy for continuing to do what he's doing to Brook. And I'm really sick of this Peyton pity party. Everyone has their problems. Don't use it as a reasoning behind your selfish actions. They probably split up Brook and Lucas b/c of the real life divorce but other than that, Brook and Lucas looks wayyy better than P..I'm not gonna even say. It annoys me too much.

Luke most certainly deserves some blame in here, but the boy is kind of clueless sometimes. I think with Peyton it was kind of a 'I want what I can't have' deal to begin with. Brooke was there, she was available, so he thought why not? Peyton knew how Brooke felt about Lucas and she went for it anyway. Peyton...she's misguided and I don't hate her, but I think she sucks as a friend. She could have kept her feelings to herself, especially knowing that Brooke was so insecure when it came to her best friend and her boyfriend. I think Lucas really does love Brooke. It didn't start out that way but I think when they broke up that he was being honest. That kiss with Peyton didn't mean anything to him, like he said, except that they were good friends. I can understand where Brooke is coming from. It's kind of like a rule of thumb. You don't date the best friend's ex. When Brooke went after Lucas, Peyton made it clear to her she wasn't interested. It was only when Brooke began showing more of a serious interest in him, that Peyton started re-thinking her decision.

I think that Brooke and Luca should be together b/c they make the show. Peyton and Lucas make a good couple too but Brooke and Lucas do it better. They have been through alot on the show as well as in their personal lives, even though they are divorced. Their scenes are probably akward to them, but who knows maybe in this season or next season more will come with Lucas and Peyton. Lucas has had the hugest crush on her since the 1st season. So who kows the future will hold. I guess we'll just have to keep watching to see. Please let Lucas find out that Dan killed Keith. I think that everyone should know the truth, especilally Karen.

I think that you TV hoons should keep your opinions to yourselves. One Tree Hill is a fictional television series that won't change one bit no matter how much you whinge and complain.

Oh, and FYI, Peyton and lucas were the first to be in love, so I think they should reside that way. However, I do prefer brooke and lucas as a couple, as they have chemistry, but now that chad michael murray and sophia bush are divorced, I'm guessing that it would be difficult for them to have kiss scenes. I do think that peyton deserves lucas by now, as they haven't really been going out since... well... never.

Oh, and I do think that they should have on-off relatioinships.

Peyton is far better. She didn't even tell lucas how she felt until he and brooke were over. She was a true friend. Plus, in season one, the only reason Brooke ended up with Lucas was because Peyton was scared ... so Lucas settled.

i don't care who is to blame here... but all i have to say about this whole brooke vs. peyton thing is that, none of this really is peyton's fault... so why exactly is she being blamed?

The truth is they are actors playing a role, a poorly written role at that. I am not annoyed with an actual person named Peyton, but in fact I am annoyed at an unrealistic script attempting to potray real life relationships. I am simply pointing out that the show is unrealistic, in real life guys really do not fall for girls like peyton. In real life the most romantic thing a guy could do for a girl like Peyton would be helping to pay her bill at the insane asylum.
You also stated that Peyton did not break up Brooke and Lucas. If getting naked in a hotel room with someone elses boyfriend isn't breaking up a relationship I don't know what is.

I think Peyton is to blame! Lucas and Brooke are good together. Peyton has way too many problems. I mean come on, I know alot has happened to her but the whole "Whoa is me" thing is getting old. Peyton is a you know what... I know you can't help who you fall in love with, which I truly believe, but you CAN help who you kiss! Okay, I think the keyword here is 'AGAIN'. Peyton and Lucas screwed Brooke over in S1. Lucas goes on with his 'lalala-i-LOVE-you-brooke' escapade for about two more seasons. And then, at the end of S3 and beginning of S4, Peyton goes and tells Brooke that she's in love with her boyfriend. Who she'd already cheated with before.

This whole thing revolves around 'AGAIN'. Peyton's screwed Brooke over...AGAIN. She has feelings for Brooke's boyfriend...AGAIN. She's kissed Lucas while he was with Brooke...AGAIN. Although, maybe the library kiss was forgivable because she thought she was dying so she kissed her best friends boyfriend...or something like that.

Peyton needs to seriously get a life and get her own guy. Brooke only went after Luke in S1 after Peyton said over and over again she had no feelings for him and that he was 'fair game'. So don't go around saying Brooke screwed Peyton over. And then after S2&3 where Peyton's feelings suddenly VANISHED because two other guys (namely Jake and Pete) were interested in her. And then WOOPS. Pete's gone, Jake's gone...Lucas is the only one for her.

Saying that served no purpose whatsoever as to show Brooke that she's actually a very good friend for being 'honest' with her, this time around. Whatever.

Ok lets be realistic here, I think all three of them are to blame in some way or another. If you recall Lucas and Peyton liked each other first in the first season and then Brooke came along. And the same thing again last season.

Yes, Brooke and Lucas were good together, and everyone loved them. But Brooke had no right to act the way she did towards Peyton after she found out about the kiss with Lucas. Peyton has completely respected Brooke through the whole ordeal.

THis is not to say Peyton has been an angel, having feelings for your best friend's boyfriend isn't the best thing, but she never acted on it and kept it to herself until now.

Alright well i think lucas should be with brooke. and i don't think it's peytons fault because you can't help who you fall for. when they kissed in the library peyton kissed lucas because she though she was dying. it seems like kind of just an unfortunate situation that can have no good outcome. yes, peyton and lucas should have been upfront and honest about the kiss--i bet if they told brooke right after the shooting she would have understood. but, i wouldn't really put peyton and lucas at fault UNTIL/IF they get together this season but i'll get to that.

kinda sucks that brooke broke it off with lucas without giving him the real reason, because that just pushed him away and make him think that she doesnt love him anymore when she clearly still does. but what's she supposed to do? tell him that they're breaking up because her best friend has feelings for him? or is she supposed to stay with him knowing that peyton could come between them? i don't think brooke really stopped loving him--but she couldn't make herself vulnerable anymore because lucas wasn't the best boyfriend--he's distant and fickle about his feelings. for him "forever" really means only a few months.

Yes, Lucas is responsible for all the problems between Brooke & Peyton. But let's keep it real, Peyton & Brooke are just as guilty. When everything started Lucas was after Peyton but Peyton was playing hard to get. Then Lucas became interested in Brooke which made Peyton jealous because yet another man likes Brooke & not her. Peyton is a girl with many issues! Once Lucas was with Brooke he shouldn't have gotten involved with Peyton, she wasn't interested when he wanted her so he should have used his mind.

Brooke has always been there for peyton , When peyton got shot we didn´t really get to see when she was at the hospital so you can say no one was really there for her . I think that no one is to blame, after all its a circle of feelings that can`t be controled, but payton could hide those feelings foR brooke and lucas sake. I understand how Brooke is feeling, but in my opinion she is being selfish towards her best friend. Peyton, however, does think of her best friend, and she didn´t want to hurt her again, or sacrifice her friendship for Lucas. That is exactly why she told Brooke. Not because she wanted to run off with Lucas. She was in love with Lucas and he was her best friend´s boyfriend. She didn´t want to lose either of them. That was never her intention. She told Brooke in her best friend´s interest.

I don't think that Lucus is to blame because he can't help it if he has feeling's for Peyton. When you love someone, those feeling take control of you. I personaly think that Brooke should forgive Peyton and Lucus but not straight away, because if she did it wouldn't seen real...But then we have Peyton who knew how much Brooke loved Lucus, but still kissed him at the shooting. I think it's Brooke's fault, because from the very first episode Peyton and Lucas liked eachother, they wanted to be together in the first few episodes. Brooke knew this! Yet she still threw herself at Lucas....and being a guy yeh he took her, and since Peyton took a little time to open upto him...but still Brooke knew they wanted eachother and she still tried everything to get him. If she hadnt butted in, in the very beginning, Peyton and Lucas would have got together not Brooke and Lucas.

Ok i think lucas is to blame at least to some extent. of course he cudnt have not kissed peyton in the library coz she thought she was goin to die or watever.... but he shud've told brooke abt it rite after it happened, brooke wud surely freak out but she wudnt break up wit him like she did in season 4. he shud've also fought harder to get brooke back. he says he loves her but doesnt even have a lil bit of patience to wait till she cools down????? n abt peyton n brooke both are to blame but peyton definitely is to be blamed the most. come on guys how do u expect brooke to react when her best friend, who had already done some irreparable damage in the past, tells her that she is in love wit the love of her life???? n peyton told brooke that she wud hide her feelings for lucas. wtf if she could hide her feelings frm lucas then y in the hell did she tell brooke abt it? n plz the honesty crap is a big lie. peyton was brooke's best frend she knew how brooke wud do after she told her she still had feelings for lucas. if anything brooke's slap was not even enuff for wat peyton did to brooke. hope brucas comes back but i doubt it considerin the chad n sophia real life situation.

I'd say Lucas definitely plays a big part in this feud between Brooke and Peyton. Even though Lucas does not know the whole story about why Brooke is mad (Peyton telling Brooke she's still in love with Lucas)Lucas is wrong because he gives way to much of his time and attention to Peyton. Lucas and Peyton can be friends but with the history they share if Lucas loved Brooke as much as he said he did he should have been more considerate of Brooke's feeling by putting a little space between himself and Peyton. It's understandable that Brooke was feeling insecure because of what they have done in the past, and every time she turns around what does she see?...Lucas and Peyton together. And if Peyton had been any kind of best friend she would have realized this also and put some space between herself and Lucas. With a best friend like that, who needs enemies?! I certainly wouldn't want a friend like that around, someone who was forever up my man's a@#! If I was Brooke I would have slapped her too! Peyton didn't want Lucas until she saw how happy Brooke was with him. It seems to me Peyton has some issues stemming from her lack of parents,so when she saw the love Brooke and Lucas had, she wanted that love.

i think that its peyton n lucas fault. if lucas had told brooke about the kiss in the library from the start, it would not have turned out like this. he should have been honest with her. We all know that he loves brooke as he has said so many times and peyton should be wise enough to see that he loves brooke and that brooke loves his and that they had overcome so much to be together and leave that alone. she even promised brooke that she wasnt gona hurt her again but looks like you cant trust peyton.

I think that they are all at fault. Lucas and Peyton should not have did stuff behind Brooke's back, but I also don't think Brooke should have gotten as mad about the school shooting kiss. I mean come on Peyton thought she was dying. I do however think they should have told her then and not waited, but she still would have freaked out. It is Lucas' fault, i admit the kiss was Peyton but she was shot and he is honestly always saving her. I would have kissed him too. But he spilled the kiss situation to Brooke and that made it worst. Peyton has been nothing more than a friend to Brooke, atleast she respected her enough to tell her about the feelings and not take it too far.

I think that everyone shares the blame. Lucas for not putting his foot down and letting Peyton kiss him, AND Brooke shouldnt have to fight for him, he made things bad between the two of them when he left her for Peyton, so he should be the one to hold them together, all though Brooke should show some care as well.

Brooke is to blame for giving up on Lucas too easily, and not respecting Peytons feelings or her friendship with Lucas. She needs to loosen up and not be so hard on Lucas or Peyton. Peyton has been her best friend and Lucas loves her more than anything and she needs to wake up and realize it.

Peyton is to blame for her not respecting Lucas and Brooke's relationship. Of course she cant control her feelings, but Brooke was with him first and Peyton didnt want Lucas before. But now she comes back wanting him, its not fair to Brooke and not fair for Lucas to be cornered like this.

Overall, Brooke needs to lighten up and give both Lucas and Peyton another chance. Lucas needs to let Brooke know the battle for her is never over and that nothing stands between the two of them. And Peyton needs to pull back and let Lucas and Brooke be, respect their relationship.

Lucas has really tried to put his all into Brooke and still be a good friend to Peyton. It is truly up to Brooke to not be so darn possesive of Lucas. Granted he made a mistake once but he has paid the price and turned around, and the guy is allowed to have friends. I think that Lucas should take A LOT of the blame. He should probably take most of it. It's mostly his fault, I'd say. But that wasn't an issue with the question proposed.

The person in the middle (especially if it's a boy) always avoids a lot of blame. That's a double standard and it's a shame. It's also probably because the two girls' fanbases are bigger than his.

I put a lot of blame on Lucas's stupid actions. But that would get into me blaming the writing of the second season and then blaming some of the actors for dictating the story direction of the second season...and that's a whole other story.
