Top Model: AJ's Gone?
We're still kind of shocked that AJ's the one who went home on last night's America's Next Top Model. How many weeks in a row has it been Jaeda in the bottom two now? Clearly, whoever goes up against Jaeda in the bottom two is already doomed before Tyra tells her farewell -- it's like a curse.
This week's episode provided a welcome change from the usual photoshoot, drama, photoshoot, drama, judges, schedule. Forcing the models to interview Janice Dickinson was sort of excruciating to watch, especially because we still can't figure out what interviewing stars has to do with modeling... but okay, Melrose was good, we have to admit (and we don't want to, because we're finding it really hard to like catty Mel these days), and everyone else was varying degrees of awful. Janice made no secret of that.
Next, it was time for talk therapy with Tyra on the couch. The transition from humiliating interviews and cross-dressing photo shoots to sappy Muzak-esque tunes and Tyra asking everyone to "be vulnerable" was a bit jarring, but it's part of what makes this show great. See, modeling's not just about sexy pictures -- you have to "open up" and "let your guard down," too! Couch therapy was ideal for discussing Michelle's ambivalent sexuality... is she gay or isn't she? Michelle and Tyra both seemed cool with her not really knowing -- it was her twin sis Amanda who didn't take the news so well.
Amanda continues to hold back while Michelle has fun with it -- that's why we're eagerly awaiting the episode where Amanda goes home and Michelle stays (don't you agree that it's coming up?). Amanda clearly wants to model so much more, but Michelle is effortlessly better, and more likable, too.

I can't believe they picked jaeda over aj. Hello, wasn't jaeda the one constantly crying over her friggin hair. Girl i have short hair too. It doesn't make you less of a woman. What makes you less is your constant whining. Just own it cuz you look so much more modely with short hair. And Aj was friggin awesome although her pics didn't look like jlo or mark anthony.

I wasn't the biggest fan or AJ, but i got to admit that bloody pic of her was AWSOME!!! i loved it. i can't believe that Brooke left this week. she was my all time favorite. she was so fun and outgoing. now i'm rooting for caridee

Loved AJ! Still crying over the fact that she left. She was so...differnet! What does interviewing have to do with modeling? She was amazing in her past weeks, and suddenly... Jaeda can saty (again) and she's gone???? Oh, and I loved Megg too. =( Now, I'm voting for Michelle, Caridee, and Brooke.

i can't get over the fact that A.J. left! she was my favorite i think most people liked her...anyway rooting for caridee now.

Personally, I never liked AJ much. She was too cool for school, and it annoyed me! Now I'm rooting for adorable Brooke, Caridee, and Michelle. I bet Amanda or Jaeda goes next week.
