The lost of over one million viewers should tell the producers how people are reacting to the ending of the Clark-Lana relationship. Lex-Lana,nobody wants to see. Lois and Clark, that belongs in another show. Oh yeah...there was an ABC series that was cancelled because of the lack of audience interests. Lex-Lana, Clark-Lois, the writers and producers shouldn't have wasted five years of our time. The viewers supported this show for five long years do not want this show to turn into some stupid Greek tragedy. The Clark-Lana relationship has driven the series, look at the past ratings and past DVD sales. I stopped watching already like the million and more viewers who got completely turned off.

I find this letter completely ridiculous and utterly bias that I don't know WHERE to begin in expressing my distaste.

Lex/Lana storyline is in the forefront and I can't believe that TheCW would make any ploy to undermine their leading characters development! Joke or no Joke.

There's enough hate for Lex/Lana, and for the few who actually DO LOVE LEX/LANA, this letter is just a slap to the face. The fact this is coming from a network affiliated blog where people can once again rip apart Lex/Lana truly disappoints me.

Lana has become a more dynamic and interesting character since she's dumped the farmboy! The best thing this series has done is break up Clark and Lana. Sure they were cute for like the first season, but how many nails in the coffin are there? Clearly, not enough.

Anyone who has watched the series from the beginning, hell even Lexmas, would know Lex wouldn't dump or dissuade her from having the baby! Again, this letter IS sentimental condescending nonsense.

I think Lana and Clark should be together. But everyone assume they wont end up together because in the 'Comic' and movies, it's Clark and Lois. What alot of people don't understand is that the show is not EXACTLY like the Superman everyone knows. Have you not noticed that there are some major differences? Anything is possible people. The show is only BASED on Supermans life. It's Smallville, not superman.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend you, but your knowledge of comic books is not right.

In post-crisis comics, Clark and Lois are married to each other and Lois obviously knows Clark's secret.

And, no, Lois doesn't find Clark annoying in the comics, she loves and respects him, and now is married to him.

Lana is a part of Clark's past and in comics, she is shown to still have feelings for Clark, but they are one sided. Clark loves Lois.

Just stating the facts so you may know!

Lexana? Yucky. I'd rather have someone go anal on me than see those to together. And to make it clear...anal is the last thing on my list of happy times. Not sure what you're mission is with the show, if it’s to force Smallville down the shitter then I’d say you're on the right track. And where’s Lana exactly? Never was big on the Lana from this Smallville TV show. The less of her the better. Doesn't necessarily mean that I want her off the show....just not the feeling of like she's being shoved down my throat....that's all.

I wish that Lana had been written the correct way on this show...not just as the "beautiful girl next door" but really as she is in the comics...Lana has an impact on Clark's and grows up to be on of Superman's best friends. And for some reason, they don't do any of that foreshadowing...all they do is make this character go from bad to worse and give most of the qualities to a character that does not even exist outside of Smallville and I am talking about Chloe.

Lana and Clark are best friends in the future, and they were suppossed to be best friends during this time now. Now because the writers have not shown this, you got people who don't know about the character Lana Lang and how she does exist out of Smallville and how she does exist in the comics and the Clark's future, and some people don't even know that she does.

Here's some advice to the writers, repair the friendship of Clark and Lana and start foreshadowing that...instead of obvious stuff like Jimmy and Lois. Everybody doesn't want to see that...and they may not post here but we're out here and we really want to see the "real" friendship of Clark and Lana begin.

I miss the Lana from season 1. The subsequent Lana incarnations (the amnesiac, equestrian, astronomy student, art student, the witch, Lex baby momma, etc) make me wretch. I hope she gets written out of the storyline. She's truly thr weakest link in the show. Methinks the producers are projecting their fantasies overmuch. ;)

I really hate what has happened to Lana. I used to really like her now I just find her and that whole part of the storyline annoying.

I really miss Lana. The one I fell in love with in the pilot episode. What have you done to Lana? I could barely recognize her. The writing staff who write these stories should at least do their homework and read about the character before writing. It's only Lana's character that has been written so inconsistently. She was into riding, then art, then astronomy and then now, into baldy and preggy. I hope you can redeem her and give her character the justice it deserves.

first off, lois is a college-drop out/ alchohlic and she's not even supposed to be in smallville anyway. if you want to argue that lois is the one who ends up w Clark, then why is she even is smallville against the comic plot?!
second, Chloe is a whiny reporter who sold Clark out just becuz she was jealous. Lana and Clark are just perfect together, if the writers would stop screwing up her character and throwing her around like a piece of rubbish. Lex and lana are just sick, and the writers honestly need to GET FIRED for that mindless crap they put on TV. period.

Have you all been dropped on your heads or something? This show has never been more boring and stunted than when we're subjected to the ninety-billionth "secrets and lies" speech between Clark and Lana! Why the heck are you clamouring for MORE of that tripe???

Guys, Listen up! The reason Lana and Lex together is to make Lan and Clark realize how much they meant to each other.
And wanna bet? Lana is carrying Clark's baby! They had one memorable night together remember? when both said to each other they were their first. You'll see, they will be back together.

Last season, I would tell my friends and family to leave me alone on Thursday, 7pm local time (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada).
Now, the more I watch SV, the more I feel disgusted. Lex and Lana is SOOOO WRONG!!! My feeling for SV slowly disappearing just like the way the writers write about Clana. I have no excitement in watching SV anymore...can do without it.
I just hope that CW realizes how much it hurts us (Clana fans) for them to take such a sharp turn from last season. Even my husband who is not a SV fan said that "people get used to some things like, Clark and Lana should be together". How sad is that? He even asked me how I feel about Lex and Lana and all I can do is swear at CW, the writers and Al & Miles for letting this thing happens.

If they decide to not bring Clark and Lana back together as a couple, the writers need to do the following: 1. Break up Lex and Lana ASAP: I can't stand this $%*#. 2. Have Lana find out Clark's secret: She deserves to know, and at least she'll know that Clark really DID love her and they can be friends again. 3. Bring back Pete: Lana ended up with him in the comics and they'll be able to help each other in protecting Clark's secret. 4. DO NOT START A CLARK & LOIS relationship: Unless this is a very inaccurate prequel to Lois & Clark, remember that Lois has no romantic attraction to Clark Kent. She is attracted to Superman. If Clark can't be with Lana, I'd much rather see him with Chloe. At least it'll make a little sense.

Ok, well first things first. Lex and Lana? It's just wrong. I mean SERIOUSLY what were the writers thinking? Lex is ugly and bald and anyone that thinks he is hot should jump off a building.

Clark and Lana? GREAT. Best thing ever on Smallville. 3/4 of Smallville's watchers are probably Clana fans. It's been about them since episode ONE season ONE. So can the writers PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put them back together?

I just can't believe how they ended it. It was so bad! For nearly five years I have been watching Smallville.. just because I loved them and now they pratically hate eachother.. well Lana hates Clark.

One more thing.. Clark DID tell Lana his secret but then she died from it remember? JEEZ.
Clark DID want to be truthful with her, but after she died he realized he couldn't because she could die.

I really think that there should be an episode SOON where Lana gets some kind of powers to be able to see the past and future temporarily, so that she will be able to know how Clark did tell her his secret and then SHE died and then he brought her back to life at the expense of his own FATHER! So she can stop being so bloody mad at him and get back together with him.

And to all you people that keep saying..

Clark and Lana can't be together.. that's just not how it is yada yada yada.
SHUT UP. The writers can make them be together if they want. It doesn't matter. And I hope they do soon, because at the moment.. Smallville sucks.

I like Kristin in this season. Honestly, I like Lana too.

Although her "lies and secrets" crap is still there. But it is interesting to see her evolving from the eternal "Clana torture" and seeing some new prospects.

I don't know where Lexana will lead. No matter how much they are in love, Lex would not prove to be a loyal husband. That will hurt Lana.

But giving her a break from Clana was a good move. TW/KK chemistry is still great, but everyone knows they don't end up together, so TPTB did the right thing by breaking them and letting their characters evolve.

What has Smallville turn into? I've heard (since I couldn't bring myself to watch it after Reckoning) that it's now a soap opera? That storylines are so illogical and inconsistent that Lana Lang is now unrecognizable? Talk about character assasination. That all these are the result of poor writing? Do the writers have to stoop this low? I think the show should be terminated before it gets any worse.

First of all telling you over and over again what i think makes no difference you do nothing about it. For a new network you guys aren't doing what you should. Lana Lang has my sympathies, but she made the wrong choice herself.

She questioned Clark so much about secrecy that he saw no other way out but to end the relationship.

Lana is such a beautiful woman, she could've done so much with her life, but why did she choose a man with such a shady past? Why Lex Luthor?

Anyways, I am loving her story arc this season. I want to see where this choice leads her.

I'd love to see her in the canon triangle i.e., Clark/Lois/Lana. It has been presented in the comics, I want to see Smallville's take on it.

Why the heck should Lana be REWARDED for being OK with experimenting on people? Hello, she's OK with 33.1. She's not this innocent girl who's all hearts and bunny rabbits.

She has history with Clark? Yeah, a history of making him feel like hell! Why not just sentence him to life in prison? Why should Clark have to be friends with someone like that?

When I saw the first half of the 100th episode, I was very happy and excited about Clark revealing his secret(s). The way he went about doing it too was one of the most romantic things I have ever seen. Then of course people had to die....Yada Yada Yada...and when push came to shove, Clark never let Lana in on his secret(s). No one had to "die". The story could have been written differently.

I liked the Lana of that season. Now, everyone hates everybody, or dislikes. It's time to get Clark and Lana back together again. That was beutiful Chemistry in the 100th Episode! That is what Smallville is about.

This is a different universe then the one that we know of in the Superman comics and movies. So, in this universe, Clark and Lana could live happily ever after (with a twist of course)

To TPTB...Lets make this happen. Most people dislike the annimosity between Clark and Lana, and to be honest I am very weary and tired of it. They have too much History together, for the situation to go on as it's going. Plus I think that most people are tired of the Pining for eachother and nothing happens in the end. It's time to close the book one way or another on the Clana story. Since most of us are romantics, it should be Clana 4EVER!!

Lex should hook up with that Doctor from season 2. They were great together. :) Plus she knows Clarks secret. Would make good story :)

I loved that video. the writers are pathetic. i can't believe they would let something like that fall apart. Lana and Clark are meant to be. Thats all there is to it. they need each other and are so cute together. Smallville IS Clark and Lana. That is the reason most people watch it. I used to be a huge fan. I watch all the time and loved it. i stopped seaso 5 when Lana got with Lex, I couldn't even stomach seeing them together. I don't watch anymore but check online every once and awhile to see if the writers put what is meant to be back together again. Clark and lana forever!

I've always been a Clana fan from the very beginning. It's been so long since I've seen some nice, angst free Clana interaction. This video, it brings so many memories back. I think Clark and Lana are perfect for each other, the chemistry...the connections, Tom and Kristin do a wondeful job portraying their characters. Lately though, Lana has been written very poorly. The writers actually went this far? Lana is carrying the child of Superman's mortal enemy. I really hope the baby doesn't make it, because this has just gone way too far. It deeply saddens me that Clark will not end up with Lana in the future, I think they make an amazing couple. Not Clark and Lois, not Lex and Lana, Clark-and-Lana. They are what keeps the show going. If TWTP keeps this up with Lana and Lex, the ratings will drop and this show will...-well, I won't get into that.

I want the old Lana back!

I think Smallville should be made into an alternate universe, Clark still becomes the man of steel, but instead of Lois, he ends up with Lana. Besides, many things are already different in Smallville. Lex and Clark are growing up together. Pete is african american. Lois is already in Smallville, and there is no Chloe in the comics.

You must disappoint us Clana fans, don't you TPTB? We are the majority of the people that watch Smallville. There are more Clana fans then any other shipper out there. I think you can give us a little treat and either change the Superman universe, or AT LEAST bring Clark and Lana back together again. (romance-no, friends-yes)

Before Smallville, there was absolutely zero interest in another series/film about Superman. Smallville captured a sustained audience because of the Lana and Clark relationship. They had the kind of chemistry that I have never seen before. The Clark-Lana relationship gave the series something very special and the series lasted as long as it did because of what these two actors bring to their roles. The treatment of Lana is just awful. I have never seen the kind of disorganization and disintegration in writing, character development and plotting as I have seen in the end of Season 5 and now season 6. Smallville deserves to end now. I can't watch the show anymore. I can't stand what has been done to the characters. The producers do not understand how much the audience love the characters and it is just no fun to watch them ruin what has taken five years to develop.

Lana's unwatchable this season. Ditch her to focus on the girls that are actually interesting - Chloe and Lois.

I can't believe that everyone has bad things to say about Lana. She's been threw so much. She's just looking for someone to be honest with her. I think Clark should've just been honest with Lana. That way they would've stayed together. I want Clark and Lana back together there the perfect couple.

Need to offset all the Lana-love I see here. Her character is serving no purpose besides a love interest and that has become completely detremental to the story I watch Smallville for - the making of Superman. Clark is so much stronger and likeable when he is not around her. I never bought their relationship, never understood what they had in common, never understood what Clark saw besides a pretty face, never saw any chemistry between them. And now that she's with Lex, Lex is coming off as boring, not the charismatic villian-to-be that the story demands he should be.

Lana's been written badly from the get go and I really feel bad for Kristen having to make the stuff works. Most of the time she can't but I don't blame her, as Lana has been set up from the get-go as an object of worship, not a character. Sad to say, but I want her gone, freeing Kristen up for much better things.

Lana has been an ungrateful, uncaring bitch since S2. Especially to Clark. It's about time the show acknowledges this and lets her embrace her inner bitch. It's also about time Clark removes his Lana blinders. Clark has grown and matured since he got Lana out of his life. He is on the road to becoming Superman again. Let Lex Luthor handle the Whispering Pink Princess. They make the perfect couple.

I don't Lana like some, but she's never been the most interesting character.

She lets the people around her dictate the path her life takes (and she badmouths Nell all the time). She needs to stand on her own two feet. If she doens't trust Lex (and she doesn't, IMO) she needs to end it and to try and stand on her own. She needs to take control of her life. Early season 5 was when she was at her best. She had her own motivations that were (as far as she knew) unrelated to any guy. She was investigating the meteor shower and such on her own and not asking for help and eschewing help when it was offered. It was the only time in the series I've ever genuinely liked Lana and found her interesting.

I don't figure the baby will survive, but I hope it does. I hope she does, too. And moves to Chicago or some city other than Metropolis and learns to take care of herself and handle her life by herself. And visits Nell on the holidays (there's nothing wrong with fake Christmas trees - and Lana can have a real one of her own if she likes).

TPTB need to stop trying to make her so important to the series when the only role she has played is love interest. She should absolutely not be the cause of the animosity between Lex and Clark. That needs to come about because one wants to save the world and the other wants to rule it. It needs to be about ideals, about what is right - not about a girl.

oi REPAIRMAN BOB - time to use your brain instead of your tool kit. We've had 4.5yrs of angst, thats about the time required (for a series thats going to last for 7 seasons) to build up the final part of the journey for Clark and Lana. A few tools (no pun intended) like you think Clark and Lana have been done to death. What's been done to death is the angst angle between them. Now it's time to take the final step in the evolution of their relationship with Clark telling Lana the truth about himself, and also telling of the alternate events of reckoning. Only then can they have the relationship of unconditional love between them, and a whole lot more NEW stories to tell for the ALMILES to write till the end of season 7. Of course they won't marry, but they understand eachother like no one else will, even Lois (which is why in ever superman incarnation it irritates the crap out of Lois when she witnesses the special bond between Clark and Lana, its something she'll never have

they crushed lana's total being...imagine, being dumped by someone she loves so much without any valid reason...wondering what is it that made him not love her anymore??? what the! now they are asking her to be strong and move on...she needs therapy! I love Lana, more than Lois...and that's a fact because of how they've created her in smallville...now what...they want us to hate her?

Smallville is the story of Clark and Lex, a story the writers have frequently ignored to make it All About Lana. If she is simply reduced to a lead, rather than the whole point of the show, then so be it. But I am tired of watching Lana's Epic Journey towards becoming the girl that gets left behind, while Clark and Lex sit around and look at her longingly.

Of course, if Meteor returns and finished the job he started in season three, then it would also be acceptable.

Smallville is the story of Clark and Lex, a story the writers have frequently ignored to make it All About Lana. If she is simply reduced to a lead, rather than the whole point of the show, then so be it. But I am tired of watching Lana's Epic Journey towards becoming the girl that gets left behind, while Clark and Lex sit around and look at her longingly.

Of course, if Meteor returns and finished the job he started in season three, then it would also be acceptable.

I'm really sad the way the show is going i love this show since the first day it aired in the WB , but i'm starting to lose faith that clana will be no more , and that's just sad i know the show its not mainly about clana but clark becoming a superman , but clana brought something special to it and got us all hooked to the show ! please dont let lana make the wrong choises and shield from clark PLEASE JUST STOP ! I've kinda lost faith in Smallville. Lana and Clark are supposed to have this deep and meaningful relationship, which has now turned into something full of regret, anger, hatred, and resentment. They used to have something so beautiful.

I've kinda lost hope for any Clark and Lana reconciliation. Definitely romance-wise, but even friendship-wise.

All I want - all I really want - is for Lana to discover Clark's secret. Please just let that happen before the show ends. Please just let her eventually understand Clark's motivation for everything he's done. Even if they don't get involved romantically again, even if they don't reconcile, please just let her understand that he did love her.

Man, moving on is hard.

Lana is an appallingly written character, whose motivations boomerang back and forth based on whoever's writing her from week to week. She is the parking brake on the plot and drags Smallville down to the level of soap opera. She makes me embarrassed to be a girl. Her plotlines would have seemed out of date fifty years ago.

GET RID OF HER. And free poor Kristin Kreuk to go onto better acting gigs.

Smallville= CLARK AND LANA. PERIOD. Lana is a wonderful person who has to be, without a doubt, the strongest person in Smallville. She has gone through ten times as much as anyone else (minus Clark) and now yet another unfortunate event settles itself on Lana. Clark NEEDS Lana, we've seen how much he suffers without her. Lana NEEDS clark, we've seen how much she suffers without him. Bring them together so they can finally become who they are meant to become. One last romantic relationship would make clark become the MAN we've been waiting for, it would make lex the ultimate EVIL, and it would make Lana the iconic comic book heroine she has always been. BRING THE FOCUS BACK TO WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT... only after that can the story of Supes life in Metropolis make any sense.

The saddest thing isn't even the fact that Clana aren't together...it's the fact that the writers have totally butchered the character of Lana Lang. She was supposed to be the one to influence Clark Kent's life and inspire him to become Superman. Clana aren't even really on speaking terms now.

Even if TPTB don't bring Clark and Lana into a romantic relationship again, I'll settle for a strong friendship like in S1.

That was a beautiful letter to Lana and it's very true. I just wish that she could find some happiness even if it means being alone and just focusing on "finding her place in this world"- Lana, whether it be through fashion design or continuing her astronomy studies.

TPTB don't realize that with all the crappy storylines that their giving their viewers, especially this recent PREGNANCY plot; they are just leading their own show ito its early end.

PLEASE just STOP this Lana character abuse! without Clark and Lana's Reconnection soon, Smallville would just be like another Superman story... one that is typical and sooo predictable because all these years, we're used to the same story/plot lines.

You know, I think we need to get the Clana storyline on the BFF track as soon as possible. People need to know how important the Lana Lang character is in both Clark's childhood and adult life. It's like, how many people really know that in the future, Lana Lang is one of Superman's/Clark Kent's best friends. I mean they are foreshadowing everything else in Clark's future. But stop to take some time and foreshadow Clark and Lana's future friendship and educate the people about that. I mean she may not be the redhead like she is in the comics and the Superman movie AND Superboy TV show. But most people love the Clark and Lana relationship based on the protrayal from Kristin and Tom. You had people who were not even fans of the couple talking about that scene and their scenes in Season 3, and Season 4 and Season 5 and now the one that just passed.

Stop wasting precious talent and storylines and thinking that all the Smallville fans are on one website. Most Lana or Clana fans don't even go to those websites and they are the majority of the fan base. Not non-canon characters and characters that should not be in Smallville anyway.

Awwww. I miss Clark and Lana interaction. The chemistry between the two stars of the show of Tom W. and Kristin K. has never grows stale. What has grown stale is the story line of keeping the secrets. MORTAL is a great example of that..not many didn't like it. Comments of the chemistry shared in the last episode was loved by even non clana supporters. I miss them!

After watching that Clark and Lana scene in last week's episode "Rage", it made me and I'm sure a lot people realize how great those two are together!

Their chemistry is amazing and it's being wasted for the trash storyline that is the Lex and Lana relationship!

Lana needs to get away from Lex ASAP.

Why she ever got together with him is beyond me, but hopefully she'll learn from this and move on.

The Writers/producers have ruined Smallville for me. I don't recognize the show anymore. It has become remorseful, dark and simply no fun to watch. Watching the writers drag Lana through the mud is too much for me. I can't continue watching the series anymore and I have watched this show from the beginning. Goodbye....

I am a big clana fan, started watching because of them. But what bothers me about this show isn´t the fact that they are not together. It´s merely how they´ve ruined Lana´s character. She is the most abused character on tv. They´ve made her stupid and dumb, and just completely destroyed her character. She was always my favorite. I just really want them to turn her back into the person she used to be, because with the exception of rage, I can´t recognise her anymore.

Oh, and I don´t even need to say how much that video just rocked!!

Lana really has been through way too much. I mean come on give her a break. She needs some true happiness right about now. And not with Lex, gosh they are so wrong.
