Why we heart her: We love having Reba back, but we missed BJ even more! Her scenes are too hilarious, quite often bordering on the insane. We often find ourselves missing the rest of the scene because Peterman's comedic delivery has us in stiches!
Did you know? She's from Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from Minnesota State University. She made her film debut as "Hooker #2" in the famous movie Fargo (which, by the way, we LOVED). In her spare time she writes plays and takes care of her 1-year old son, Riley David.

Hey Melissa! I love you on REBA! I still watch the reruns- and enjoy your character BJ... You really make the show! You are so awesome- and you look amazing!!!! I am currently working on losing weight myself- I'm actually doing ATKINS. I've done this before and got down to 135 [of course that was combined with the heartache diet] LOL And a bad break up- but I am back up to about 160 now- and am back on Atkins- I just want to know what your secret is!!! hey melissa i love you and hope you read this i was amazed when you were at the jan 17 concert with reba and kelly i love yo so much and hope that your life is wonderful im very faithful to watching the reba show on the dayton cw and look forward to getting most of my laughing done at 4:00 after school. i love you melissa and think you are wonderful as bj on reba i was just saying on another site were you could post comments to reba and kelly that i wanted reba to tell you how special you are and i love you hpoe she tells u and that you get to read this

Thank you for posting this! I'd run and get my sister but she's in bed! Reba is my #1 guilty pleasure and the two things that keep me wanting more is #1: the van and cheyanne storyline and #2: Melissa Peterman. She is unbeatable! My sister and I adore her.
