Geeks Get Makeovers, Beauties Just Get Mad
Makeovers! We love makeovers! And the geeks looked fantastic. Who do you think was the hottest after the makeovers? We were shocked by how good-looking Nate and Scooter were under all that hair, but we have to agree with the ladies at the auction – Niels looked amazing, and he just worked that runway. We felt sorry for poor Mario, though – we know how frustrating it can be to go to a store where nothing seems to fit. He did well with what he had, though.
We loved seeing the guys come out of their shell on the runway. We expected Nate to be charming as always, but we were surprised at how well all the other guys did – even Matt, the shyest of the bunch, seemed to be having fun, and Mario was working those puppy-dog eyes. Those makeovers really gave the geeks a huge jolt of confidence. If only that confidence had carried over to the dates themselves. Those were some awkward conversational lulls there, guys.
Now the ladies – where do you come down on the Andrea/Jennylee debate? We've said it before – Andrea bugs the crap out of us. She was just kind of bitchy, and her superior attitude sure as hell didn't help. She seemed predisposed to think that everyone was ganging up against her, and wouldn't believe that maybe her behavior could be alienating. We're not sorry to see her go.
But just because Andrea was pushy doesn't mean she was wrong. We were torn on how to react when she called Jennylee on her "You've had a difficult time" speech – please, don't try to act like you're doing Andrea a favor by putting her up for elimination. It's a game, it's cutthroat, and in order for someone to win, other people have to lose. Deal with it.
That made Jennylee's little hissyfit over Niels nominating Nate and Cecille for elimination all the more frustrating. That nomination made sense to us – they were a strong team, and if they got booted, it would improve Niels and Jennylee's chances. But Jennylee was treating the mansion like summer camp, not a competition. How dare she give Niels crap for having the gall not to agree with her? Jennylee needs to get over herself.
After that little mealy mouth waffling, we were glad to see Jennylee stop pretending to be nice when Andrea got all huffy at the end. Admit it, Jennylee – you didn't like Andrea. You didn't have to. Now doesn't that feel better?
We can't wait for next week – much as we love Nate, we hope Cecille gets booted, because she has to understand it's not all about her. Here's hoping…

I just think it's very unfair that they gangs up on Adrea. I mean their team is not that strong. they never got to pick out who to eliminate. come on now.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason, too -- but dude, it's a competition, not a dating service. If you want to date Nate, get his number and call him when the game is done.

I think that the reason Jennylee didn't want Nate and Cecille to be nominated was not because she is such good friends with Cecille....I think she has a thing for Nate :)
