Beauty and the Geek: The Aftermath
We have to admit, we were somewhat disappointed by the Beauty and the Geek wrap-up show. Where were the fireworks? Where was the violence? Where was Cecille running after Nate with a flamethrower? Come on, folks, indulge our bloodlust!
Alas, it was not to be. This was a review show, not a reunion, like we thought. Nate and Jennylee were the only folks who actually saw each other again. Yes, we're glad they were happy to see each other again, and that they're still into each other. But what we really wanted to see was Nate meeting Cecille again. Dude, he told everyone to vote against her! She had to be furious. But no, we just got a very short interview with her poo-pooing the idea that she needed to be fixed. Plus, no real update on what she's been up to since the filming. Do you think she cut the interview short when they tried to get her to reflect?
What did you think of the Scooter and Megan follow-up interviews? We thought Scooter still looked pretty comfortable in his own skin, and we're glad to hear he's invested the money (although we had no idea that Drew was so single-minded about his investment club.) Megan… yeah. She never was really the deepest person in the house, was she? We're glad she got a dog, and enjoyed the hot tub, but is that really all she took from the experience? Oh well – it's still better that she won than Cecille.
We were glad to catch up with our favorite couple, Nadia and Mario. Congratulations on getting married, Mario! That's awesome. We loved some of the previously unseen footage featuring them. Nadia seemed one of the most laid-back, open beauties. How adorable was she trying on the Star Trek uniform? She just seemed to be having so much fun. And Mario had some great quotes. Suggesting Cecille replace Indian food with "crazy bitch food"? Brilliant.
We loved the dance party scene. Drew breaking out the light sticks and dancing to techno made us laugh – where the heck did he get those? Scooter's awkward clog dance was oddly appealing – he's so very geeky, but it suits him. And again, Nadia just looked like she was having a hell of a good time.
We do kind of wish we'd heard a little more from some of the other contestants – how did Tori and Sanjay feel about being the first couple booted? Has Pi stopped looking at boobs and started listening to women? Is Sheree going into television broadcasting? Did Matt ever figure out that Cecille was, you know, evil?
What did you think of the wrap-up show? What did you want to see? What was your favorite previously unseen moment? Did anyone surprise you? Share your thoughts in the comments.

I can't believe CeCe! Her personality is sooo lame and she is the ugliest girl on the show. She really needs to get over herself. Her so-called beauty is fake: her straw extensions look horrible, she wears way too much makeup, she has a pot belly, a flabby ass and she has no fashion sense- how did she even get on the show posing as a beauty? It is amazing that this girl is even more ugly on the inside. Some people just need to get slapped into reality. Model- ya right.

Beauty and the Geek is my favorite show in the world and this was my favorite season. I think it is more than amazing about Jennylee and Nate. For someone as beautiful as Jennylee to look beyond the superficial sends an amazing message to the world and I am so proud of her ! On the other hand, Cece is a disgusting human being. The things that come out of her mouth are embarrassing and shameful. In her interview she said that her friends and family were 'proud of her', however if that was my daughter, I would put her in her place.
I don't know why people think Megan didn't really change? She wasn't a very vocal person, but by her mannerisms and actions it is obvious she did change for the better. At the beginning she just following the click, but towards the end she was able to stick up for herself and wasn't dependent on CeCe. Good for Megan. Her and Scooter made the best team - they were just so cute together and seemed like they could be best friends forever. I always found Scooter to be a little cute...

" I wanted Matt to find out also if he didn't already... unless he really was having a good time with Ceceille putting the makeup on him and everything."
I'm somewhat of a geek myself and before I saw that episode, I thought that when girls acted all gigly and put make up or whatever on you like she did, it meant they liked you too. I was surprised when they were showing the scenes of her saying things like "I would never do anything with Matt, no way."
I'm sure Matt knows by now how Cecille is, since he must have seen that episode when it aired. And I'm also sure that he must have spent those six months being proud of himself and possibly bragging to his friends about how he was the one who the girl liked or something. And I'm sure he must have been majorly humiliated when that episode aired and she revealed that she would never do anything with him and even his own partner was saying that he got played. I think that's probably the reason why he didn't say anything about it on the reuinion episode. Most likely, he was too humiliated. Poor guy. I know the exact same thing would've happened to me if I'd been in his place.

I loved the show! But I was dissappointed with the aftermath show. I wanted to see more, like all of them together in the same room and discussing how the experience was for them and how it changed them. Not just the little bits we got.
Mario...congratulations!
Nate and Jennylee I wish you luck!
And everyone else goodluck. You deserve it.

I totally agree w/everything you said. I expected more from The Reunion Special. I hated Cecile! So, I'm kinda glad we didn't get to see much of her. ;) But I would've liked more info about other ppl. I'm happy for Jennylee and Nate, though. So cute! :)

Yeah I was definitely disappointed by the show! I wanted everyone to get together and I wanted to see Cecile and Nate talk or argue or whatever! Nadia is soooo cute! I wish her and Mario had won!

I seriously love Nadia. She's the cutest thing ever and one of the most down-to earth beauties. And way-to-go Mario!

I would have loved to see more of the get-together seens as if they were all put in a room, but unfortunatley that didn't haveppen. When they were making such a big deal about who got married i though it was going to be someone like Scooter and Megan. They would have been and off couple, but non the less adorable together. CeCe doesn't seem to understand how she treats the people around her. STUCK UP!*!*! She just needs to get over herslef. Megan or Nadia seemed to be the most changed and most improved. I wish that andrea stayed on the show longer. she seemed to get the jist of the show. I hope that next season is as interesting and juicy as this one. Can't wait!

Beauty and the Geek is just so fun to watch.
I do wish that the ends tied together a little better though, but it's a reality show and that's life, I suppose. I wanted Matt to find out also if he didn't already... unless he really was having a good time with Ceceille putting the makeup on him and everything. Maybe he actually liked it. Nate and Jennylee... wow it's so weird to actually see a real couple on tv. Mario got married! woa! I want to know what his wife is like! They are all pretty awesome people except I guess it wouldn't hurt for Cece to be a little nicer.

I liked it but it was so surprising how it was Mario who got married. I don't think Ceecee changed at all. Nate and Jennylee are so cute =) they looked really nervous though. Can't wait for next season =)

The review show was...cheap. They should have stuck all the contestants in one room and had them talk and stuff like that. It would have been the greatest laugh seeing how everyone ignored CeCe. It was great Mario got married how awesome! And Nate and Jenylee still look so so cute together. I think Scooter looks hotter than ever. lol so does nate! It's cool Niels is into fashion a little now. I wish Mat would have figured out how CeCe really is.

Hated all the review stuff we had already seen - wished for more footage of a get-together (such as seen on final Survivor shows). Would have loved to see Cecille trying to fit in. Loved Mario & Nadia, so glad he found love. Scooter is so cute. Wonder why Pi's upper lip still doesn't move. Megan began as an air-head, transformed and impressed, but alas has reverted to air-head status bigtime! Good grief!! Poor dog looked scared to death. Maybe he's been in the hot tub once too often. Oh well, love the show and hope it won't be such a long wait in between this one and the next.
