Stunt Casting Alert: Wonder Woman Comes to Smallville!

Sometimes we wonder about TPTB. Tori Spelling? Bow Wow? When these so-called stars like these stop by Smallville, we find ourselves scratching our heads. Can't they get anyone better? Anyone more interesting?
Surely enough, our wish has been granted! Wonder Woman Lynda Carter will be making an appearance on the show this season! But not just as anyone! She'll be playing Chloe's mother! How cool is that?! As you can tell by all the exclamation points, we're pretty excited!!!!!
Oh, the possibilities... What kind of storylines do you think are in store for Chloe now that her mother's around? Do you hope Ms. Carter becomes a series regular?

Yep I knew it! Chloe is going to be the new wonderwoman and will have her own spin off. I called it even before I discovered Lynda Carter was going to do a guest appearance.

I can't wait for the new smallville. I think Lana and Clark should be together because they are not together at the end then i would be so disappointed and i will never watch smallville again!!!

What if Cloe develops extremely potent meteor powers and becomes wonder-woman in the end, like in the last two episodes? It would enable her to leave the show without having to kill off her character... (Lana would probably have to die tragically though. How sad...)

That's awesome! And fitting is it that the show's heroine gets the actor of an iconic DC heroine to play her mom! This just goes to show how important TPTB think Chloe is to the Smallville mythology in that this is the second major casting that they have done specifically for her character (the first being Princess Leia!) :)

THAT is AWESOME!
I didn't expect Lynda so this exceeded my expectations! Can't wait for Freak and Progeny!
Allison is gonna bring her A game, like always!

SO excited about Lynda Carter as Chloe's mom. Chloe always gets the best guest stars for her storylines (Carrie Fisher anyone?)
These spoilers are making me excited about a season that I've found so-so at best.
More AM/Chloe is always a good thing though.

Chloe gets a Wonder Woman-Mom! Very kewl casting coup on the part of the PTBs. I can't wait to see AM and LC onscreen together! Freak and Progeny leave us with some hope for some interesting storytelling for the 2nd half of the season after all. I'm glad Chloe is in the thick of it!

Lynda Carter as Moira Sullivan, Chloe's mom? That's stroke of a genuis! I can see it now: Special Guest Star!
Good move, CW & Smallville! Can't wait for the episode to air! Next thing, you know, Gene Hackman!

Hey guys, Michael here again. I just wanted to make a few comments. It was good when Oliver Queen had left the story line for the time being. It was just like season 4 when the show added Jason. Season 4 had a different feel because the show added new characters. My point is by Oliver leaving the show temporarily you come back to your core characters and the series goes back to the basics. As they say..."don't mess with the basics."
On a side note, now I'm hearing wonder woman's gonna be on, and it's going to be chloe's mother? wow, i don't know how that came about, but as long as it's awesome...can't wait to see it!

Can't wait for "Progeny"!!!
- Chloe-centric
- More for Allison to do to show off her acting ability and range
- Flashbacks?
- Young Chloe?
- Moira vs. Lex
- Possible Chloe vs. Lex?
- And, Lynda Carter???
AWESOME :)

I can't wait for this episode to air!
This is just brilliant casting.
I hope we will see lots of interactions between Allison Mack and Lynda Carter as well as between their respective characters.
Allison Mack is a very talented actress and i'm glad there is a chloe-centric episode in the very near future.

I am SOOOOOO excited about this casting and this episode. OFF the charts excited. I'm so glad they got someone awesome to play Chloe's mom. I have really high hopes for the mother-daughter interaction.
I have a feeling this one is going to be an emotional rollercoaster.
Allison Mack is an amazing actress and I know she will be able to do so much with the material when her mom comes back.
I can't wait for this Chloe centric episode.
