Veronica Mars: Stellar Relationship Moments
One of the things we love about Veronica Mars is how it subverts our expectations. When we saw that Bonnie’s father was a televangelist, we figured he’d be some sort of villain. Nope – he turned out to be one of the most decent characters we’ve met so far. Anyone who’s able to make Veronica moderate her vengeful impulses has quite a talent.
Unfortunately, the mystery of the week wasn’t quite so surprising. Was there ever any doubt about who the culprit was? We can’t imagine Dick caring enough to pull off an elaborate scheme, and Tim, while creepy, doesn’t strike us as that sneaky.
But is the mystery disappointed, the relationship moments were stellar. We could feel Veronica’s hurt and rage when Logan confessed to hooking up with Madison. And what is it about Jason Dohring’s acting that we can’t stay mad at Logan for anything? He brings such vulnerability to what should be a pretty nasty character. Our heart was breaking for him when he left that message for Veronica, especially when he said “Honestly, it’s encouraging that someone still has such high expectations of me.” Oh, Logan. You poor thing.
In other news, we were glad to see Weevil again – and Backup! We were worried about that dog. Now if only we could get Wallace and Mac back, we’d be happy Veronica Mars fans.
What did you think of the mystery, the relationships, and Veronica’s change of heart at the end? Is Veronica getting soft, or is she growing up?

veronica mars is awsome and logan is my absoulute fav now here is this thing from a kids view veronica mars is a show that in the first season showed getting through the reckage and going on every teenager hass had a major catstrophe yes you who's all like no i didn't you just don't remember it that seasson definatly helped me through it "getting tuff good idea getting even you might want to rethink that" seasson two was more about the community at large and seasson three shows her growing up veronica mars is not just a show but a beacon for younger people to help and guide them

i WANT LOGAN AND V TOGETHER AGAIN BUT I WANT IT TO BE REAL LOVE . SO WRITERS GIVE IT SOME TIME AND LET LOGAN AND PARKER HOOK UP FOR A LITTLE BIT THAN KICK HER OFF THE PROGRAM ,MAKE HER DIED THROUGH ANOTHER STRANGE CASE THAT NEEDS TO BE SOLVED BY BOTH LOGAN AND V TOGETHER.

I'm pretty sure JD does the best brooding ever. In all, I think his acting is really good, and he will be amazing in later years to come. he is the first person to ever play an intense brooding scene, and not have me being annoyed and gagging at him. ITS GREAT!
I love all the actors!

I found this show when the 'spit and eggs' episode ran and I haven't been able to stop watching it since. Ive watched all the episodes i can online, and am in the process of purchasing the first and second season. Like many others I am proof that once people find the show, they will love it. Before a couple weeks ago, i had never heard of it.
Please don't cancel the show!
Oh and please don't let the season end without some LoVe.

Don't cancel veronica mars! Yes I was also a little disappointed that VM didn't go along with crushing Madison's car as I had hoped (can this girl get even or what?) but it was still a pretty good show! Like many of the other posters, I too, just discovered how great this show was! I tended to avoid upn9 episodes because they tended to be too depressing for me but I think it was a great idea to move VM to CW11. Now there's a perfect balance of serious mystery and lighthearted banter! Veronica Mars has ALMOST (hehe) replaced GG as my favorite show so please please keep it on for another season!

So, I happened upon Veronica Mars this season. I was doing something in my living room, and the show happened to be on. I found myself laughing out loud, which I never do at television shows. About five minutes into the show, I had totally stopped what I was doing (hanging a lamp), and was enthralled with the show. I was hooked. I searched the internet and found a bunch of episodes online, and that was it, goodbye tuesday nights with House, hello Veronica Mars fan forever. I treated myself to the first two seasons on DVD, and then forced all of my friends to watch it. And hooked them as well. I'll admit, the first episode I watched, I kind of didn't get the whole Logan/Veronica thing, but about half way through watching the first season, I totally got it. I think the show has some amazing actors, great dialouge and storylines. I absolutely adore Mac and Wallace, and have a soft spot in my heart for Dick. This show has a way of making you love all of the characters. I never really cared for Duncan though, he was kind of a wet blanket, and I was none to sad to see him go. I even like Piz and Parker. Although I kind of hated Parker in the beginning, she has grown on me. And Piz, well he's sweet and funny. As for Veronica and Piz together, in the imortal words of hall and oates, she's a maneater. He so doesn't know what he's in for. I love Veronica, but the girl has got more than a few issues in the love department. Nope, I'll take my Veronica where she belongs, with Logan. And no one else. And speaking of Logan, why is it that he can do so many stupid things (although only Veronica would leave him for sleeping with Madison Sinclair, spawn of Satan, see above, girl has major love issues) and we all still love him? The magic of Logan. My best friend is excessively Logan-like, and I can't stay mad at him either. Plus, he is desperately adorable. I guess most girls have a soft spot for damaged goods. You can laugh at his antics (that's admiral moneybags to you) and just want to reach inside the TV and let him cry on your should for awhile at the same time. As for Veronica, its been about ten years since I was in high school, but I watch the show, and just wish I could have been a little bit more Veronica-like when I was her age. She thinks she is always right and she sees everything in black and white, which is typical 19 year old behavior, when you grow up a bit, you realize that everything is a lot more grey. And you learn to accept and love people for who they are, flaws and all. But, she is by far the wittiest and strongest female character on television today. She sticks up for what she believes in and has an insanely strong moral compass. Except for the whole blackmailing the judge thing, well I guess everyone has a little laspe in judgement from time to time, and one thing you can always say about Veronica, is that she is willing to do pretty much anything, if it means achomplishing what she thinks it right. Anyway, I love the show, and hope to see it stick around for awhile.

It is so nice to read that more people are starting to watch Veronica Mars. I only hope that even more people will discover this fine show.
As for the relationship between Veronica and Logan, I could see both points of view. I mean Logan and Veronica were apart when he slept with Madison. However, Logan picked the worst possible person to sleep with in her. Veronica has so many issues with Madison and it seemed that Veronica didn't want this to be one more thing that Madison had a hand in messing up.
I think that Veronica and Logan need to be apart for a while and be single. Especially Veronica (no Pizronica unless rebound :).
Of course if they are going to set up a triangle, why not with Weevil. I just don't get Piz. As a friend yes but not romantically.
I hope we see more of Mac, Wallace, Weevil, and Parker.

i LOVED the episode. I LOVE veronica mars. its the best show on tv and it deserves a fourth season.

Last weeks episode sucked just as much as the rest of this seasons episodes have sucked. Veronica needs to drop the holier than thou attitute.
Also I've had enough of Rob trying to make me like these new characters. Screw Piz and Parker. Neither one of them adds a single thing to the show. They deprive the audience of seeing characters we love such as Wallace, and Mac.
And for the love of god Veronica needs to treat Logan better. They were broken up and she can forgive Madison but not him? That's a bunch of crap.
I vote this show gets cancelled and create a spin-off called Neptune, it could be exactly the same but without Veronica Mars in it. Keith could do the investigating.

Last week episode was very heartbreaking... My poor heart can't stand another break-up of Logan & Veronica... Why??!Why can't they be happy?! They're amazingly great together! They're so meant for each other, so please, gives us a break and let them be happy and resolve their issues, once and for all... They NEED TO BE TOGETHER AT THE END!!
Also, please, don't cancel VM, it's my favourite show and I just discover recently... I bought the DVDs and now am finally updtated... Now that am completely in love with the show (and LOGAN), you can't give up on this show... I know if more people watched it, they'll be hookes, just like me... It just needs a chance to grow on the newtwork... MAYBE A NEW weekDAY. TUESDAY THERE'S SO MUCH COMPETITION!I'm sure the ratings will be better on a better day...LIKE SUNDAY or monday... Please, keep Veronica Mars alive!!!

I loved the episode! I just think Veronica has gone a little soft.. I hoped she would've smashed Madison's car! Can't stand her!
Can't wait for the next episode!
I don't know what I'm gonna do if Veronica Mars gets cancelled.. I'm surely gonna cry :P
So please CW, keep it on!

I just started watching VM this season. I absolutely love this show. Before I just couldn't wait to watch GG, but now I can don't care if I see it or not...I only want to see VM. I am now starting season 1. I just bought the first two seasons on dvd. I hate the thought of this show being cancelled when I just found it. I think if the cw would put more effort in the show..aka...advertising, etc. then it would be so much higher in the ratings. All it takes is for people to see one show and then they are hooked. At least I was...so please cw...we need another season....
Oh, and Logan and Veronica back together wouldn't hurt either. =0)
Posted by: Melissa | February 10, 2007 1:46 PM
Well the mystery didn't really interest me. And I thought Veronica needed to calm down. I can understand her not liking that Logan slept with Madison, but they were broken up, it none of her busisness who he was with.
I love LoVe but I think they need to be apart for a while-but there better be LoVe at the end.
-btw Logan looks sexy when he is scruffy and depressed.

i think it was a good episode - a good story with aninteresting outcome and the issues between logan and veronica (who i loove together and are meant for each other) is setting us up for some good stuff to come - they have issues to work out and them doing that will offer us, the viewers, with some great episodes.
PLEASE give VM a 4th season, there is still so many stories to be told...
This is the first year on CW, my area onlly got a CW channel in january, give it some time, maybe a new night, not sure... please continue this amazingingly smart show that allows teens to be complex and real - vm is a great show and will go down in history as a cult classis!

I actually enjoyed the episode, it wasn't what I expected, but I liked it. Personally I'm a HUGE Logan fan. Jason Dohring just does an amazing job portraying every side of Logan...whether he's being the typical OPJ, or he's really hurting. I can never stay mad at him!
But I can say I HATE MADISON SINCLAIRE! Ug the girl is just so annoying!
We really need some more Mac and Wallace in the next couple of episodes, and Parker seems to have fallen off of the face of the earth. I'd love to see more of the cast involved. It was absolutely GREAT seeing Weevil AND Backup back on the show!!
Posted by: Becca | February 10, 2007 12:35 PM
Yeah what is it with Logan??
I know I should be taking Veronica's side in this whole break-up but I love Logan too much!
Posted by: Lane | February 10, 2007 10:44 AM
Logan is great and we really need more sexy LoVe banter now that they're apart. Remember 'Marshmallows and Promises'? It won't even matter if she's with boring Piz because that LoVe chemistry always comes through when they're apart.
Posted by: Jamie | February 10, 2007 8:32 AM
I think the episode was OK,not great or anything, but I like it!But I miss Wallace (too many episodes without him),Mac and Lamb... I think the show really needs the core cast in every episode...
And my heart is broken with all so many Logan-Veronica Break-ups... I love them together and I just wish the writers won't mess their relationship so much... They're amazing together, their chemistry is the best I saw on TV and they really need to work their issues so they can have an happy ending...
OH!And I need to ear, once and for all,Veronica say "I LOVE U LOGAN"... She never said it...
And I thought the mistery week was really predictable...
Another thing, the Dean O'dell murder is really taking to slow... It's not really that musch excitment!
One more thing!!! Please, don't cancel Veronica Mars.. I can't live without it!!Gives a 4th season, plzzz!!!!

OK i posted this a while ago, but for some reason it didn't post so i'll try posting it again....
ok so I'm new to VM this season, and i LOVE it! i've just bought the past two seasons on DVD a few days ago! i don't even watch GG anymore but VM is my new Tuesday night show. KEEP IT IN THE LINEUP! i don't know if VM will ever be a huge hit, but that doesn't mean its not a good show (i've heard the critics praising it left anf right), and i do think you're getting more viewers (i'm sure i'm not the only one who's only just caught on). please keep it going. you may be pleasently surprised!
as for last night's epi, i liked it. i'm sad LoVe broke up. but i think that until logan grows up a little and until veronica can let him in more, they should be apart. half their relationship seems to be sexual tension anyways. so yeah, while i'm aboard for piz/veronica, i hope LoVe are endgame. poor logan, he's a mess without her (i love it!)
p.s.- i totally knew it was the roommate immediately!
but yeah - i liked last nights epi. i don't know whats up with the hatefest posted so far, but whatever. :)

NO! Veronica Mars cannot die, honestly. I'm not ready to say goodbye.
As for Tuesday's episode... meh, we've seen much better. Logan and Veronica breaking up yet again was not as heartbreaking as it was annoying. But I must agree that Logan is an endearing character, warts and all.

I just started watching VM this season and i love it! i bought the past 2 seasons on DVD just a few days ago! i personally love logan and veronica together. from clips i've seen on youtube, they seem to really love each other and there for one another when they need it. while i don't mind a little Veronica/Piz time, i hope LoVe is together in the end. half their relationship is built up sexual tension (i love it!). Logan does need to grow up a little and realize that his actions have consequences, and veronica needs to be able to let him in and bring down the walls she's built up before they can really stay together.
but yeah, please keep VM on the air! as a new fan, i love it! i think you just need to excpet that it has a cult following and that it might never be a huge hit - but that doesn't mean its not a good show and that it doesn't have some very loyal fans! i think the praising reviews from the critics speak for themselves! KEEP IT ON YOUR NETWORK!!!!

Geez, Katie, pessimistic much?
Posted by: sally | February 8, 2007 8:54 AM
Last night's episode was heartbreaking. I love Logan and Veronica together, and she needs to hear the rest of that message! Piz should remain just as he is, a friend.
Posted by: Kate | February 7, 2007 8:54 PM
2.4 million last night for an all new episode!!! This show is going downhill so fast, so get ready for the series finale in May! And, yes, last night's episode was amazingly horrible creatively.
Posted by: Katie | February 7, 2007 5:32 PM
Last night's episode was a mess all around, it was horrible. I don't understand why everyone seems to be enamoured with JD as an actor either. All he does is look down as he tries to emote and mumble a lot .. less Logan and more Piz, Mac, Wallace and Weevil please.
Suck it up Logan and grow your balls back. If only Veronica and Logan would break up for good .. I might actually have some hope left for this show.
I was so disappointed in Veronica's actions last night. Come on VM, last night you hit a season low with the ratings... what is going on with you and whatever it is, fix it!
