I'm sorry, but to all of you Melissa R. fans... Melissa wasn't sure if she wanted to pursue her career in music first of all which means that she didn't want this as much as the other girls in the competition did. Second, yes Melissa R. is beautiful, but looks shouldn't be the only thing you should be paying attention to. She can sing and she can dance, but I honestly couldn't imagine her peforming with the Pussycat Dolls if she did win. Asia won because she was a great peformer. She had great stage presence and because she was a Knick dancer before, it came easier to her than the other girls. For all of you making negative comments on Asia and her baby and this and that, why in the world do you care about her personal life? You act as if Melissa R. didn't act like a bitc* before. She had her ways too and it hit me that she wasn't as nice as I thought when she was having that argument with Asia. Bringing Asia's baby into the argument was plain out wrong. It shouldn't even matter to her. All I have to say in conclusion is that Asia deserved what she got and for those of you who don't like her, then too bad for you. You don't have to cherish her or whatever, but atleast show her some respect and give her props. And as for the baby drama, I think Asia did the right thing. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn't want to grow up in her area and have to raise a child like that.... so CONGRATULATIONS to Asia and to all of you who are hating, just plain out stop because it isn't going to change the fact that Asia won the competition and is the next Pussycat Doll. Just try to be "mature" about it. Complaining isn't going to change anything.

Personally I do think that Asia has the talent. But so did the other two girls. Chelsea's only downfall was her lack of dance training. But she did prove that she was able to learn fast.

Melissa R would have one but I think the whole fight between her and Asia hurt her chances. Robin wouldn't want to bring somebody who attacks other people so violently into the group. Melissa has an awesome voice and is a great dancer but she just wouldn't fit in with the dolls. I won't lie I wanted her to win over Asia.

I'm on the fence where Asia is concerned. In the beginning I thought she was a cold bitch. But when she finally opened up I saw that her cold exterior was for protection. She has been burned many times before and has a daughter to worry about.

The only problem is her refusal to ignore people when they give her pointers. Look how many times Ron told her to drop the over dramatic add libs. To stop growling and just sing. She never listened. With that being said I think her and Nicole will butt heads. I can't see her playing backseat to Nicole for long. She wants to be front and center.

Hmm I really didn't like the results. IMO Asia is a good singer, but she's too stuck up and too controlling. If it was just for a solo singer than Asia would probably be the best choice, but since PCD is a group, she'll probably add more drama. I can't stand her hot temper and bad attitude. I wanted Chelsea to win, because she seems so much more real than the other two. She has the most opportunity to grow into something greater than the other two. Although I was rooting for Chelsea, I guessed that Melissa would be the one to win. Its a pity, because for me Melissa would add a lot more to the group. Basically, wanted Chelsea or Melissa to win, but we'll just have to see where PCD goes with Asia.

please acknowledge that although an entertainer, Asia as a PCD will be a role model in some form to young girls. this means that the bitchy, diva, aggressive, spoiled and glorifying of teenage pregnancy attitude displayed by Asia will be emulated by young girls in future. we live in a society that is going to hell in a handbasket as our morals are flying out the window, despite record church attendance levels. we must let our "stars" know that they must explain to their young fans that they made mistakes and that their path may not be for all. that an education is important above all else. that following a code of acceptable conduct is something to be proud of. i could go on for a long time on this, but if you do not believe what i'm saying about Asia being an example to young girls, i urge you to visit my childs elementary school and listen to the amount of 6-8 years olds singing "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me", or worse "loosen up my buttons" as they go into school, it will shock you.
Please do not let society denegrate anymore than it is today, hold your celebrities responsible for their actions and messages to the young!!

To all you haters out there stop hating. Asia has a personally of her own just like the rest of them. It has been mentioned by others on this posting that the producers choose what is shown on television for the viewer to watch. So, they will do whatever it takes to get the ratings and force you to watch the show over and over again. Personally speaking I choose Asia from the begining. Sure Chelsea could sing she has a wonderful voice and will go places if she persue singing. Melissa R. has talent as well however, if you want to get right down to it she was quite the B***h as well. It was very immature of her to bring Asia daughter into the equation. I truly beleive it was her strategy from the begininig to break everyone down so that she could win. Let face it Asia had her issues as well however, she was the better performer. The PCD needed a perfomer not one in training. If that was the case they would have picked the girl with the dance background. She out danced everyone but could'nt sing and the founder of the PCD started crying because she knew she could fit right in with the dolls.

I also am amoung the many others that have posted on this site the love for Melissa R and Chelsea. I feel that either of them would have been a smarter, hotter and sexier choice. However kudos to Robin Antin for making a great show and putting together a great group, she must know what shes doing. Good luck to all the girls on the show. Now that the PCD has come to an end, and Asia has won. Majority of people who had watched the PCD show, did not approve Asia. I was not ruling for Asia myself. I would have love to see CHELSEA WON. Chelsea is a great person, she has been repeatedly picked on, and she has been the most sweetest person and that is why Robin always argued how much she has grown. It all comes down to CHELSEA she is not a great dancer but for sure she could be a great solo artist.. Apart from that, I believe that CHELSEA will move on to better things in life. I know for a fact she could be one of my fans, should she ever have a career in the industry. I LOVE TO WATCH CHELSEA, she has great personality. Melissa S is a bitch, she wants fame only. Melissa R, should have listen to parents and continue studying medical field, (she is great performer though) Asia is another bitch, her attitude kills me. This is not great for the PCD. Her daughter is preety but should have not mentioned so many times on reality TV show. Melissa sucked during the final performance. I'm sorry but she was better the previous times (her voice didn't sound right. Chelsea's voice was amazing... and Asia's voice isn't the best, but she remains a really good dancer and performer, so I think she deserved to win.

They made it pretty obvious from the start that Asia was going to win. I'm not a big Asia fan, but whatever (has nothing to do with her personal life she just didn't do it for me as an entertainer). Then think about how you would have gotten to college without the savings fund that your parents started when you were born. What about that car they bought you or apartment they pay for off campus? Just think about the struggles of other people and accept the fact that Asia won and she is a good edition to the PCDs.

If that isn't good enough for you, just think Asia and generations of her family to follow won’t be stuck in the welfare system eating off tax payers. Be glad for her that she can support her family herself and that she has the drive and determination to do so. Far too many single mothers, and not even those who were teen mothers like Asia end up on welfare and it is a vicious cycle.

I think for each of you saying you won’t buy a PCD album because of Asia there are 2 new fans to the PCDs because of Asia. She is bringing diversity and flavor to the group. For all you idiots talking about her bringing her child on tour, think of all the stars in Hollywood with children making movies for 3-6 months at a time, they have nannies, family members to help out and they see their children every chance they get. I bet if you asked some of the children of stars if they would rather grow up in the ghetto and see their mom and dad everyday struggling to make ends meet or grow up in the suburbs and have every opportunity to advance their lives, no one would choose the ghetto!

I also don’t think Robin chose Asia because she felt sorry for her. All along the major supporter of Asia was Little Kim, as much as I can’t stand little Kim, she is too minor to influence Robin or the other judge. In the end it came down to who is the better performer. Like they said you can be the best singer and dancer but if you cannot perform it is useless. Melissa and Chelsea fit into the “cannot perform” category. Think of superstars like Janet Jackson and especially Jennifer Lopez. J-lo can’t sing but she like Janet Jackson is an awesome performer. Chelsea would have stuck out in the PCDs because she can’t dance. Melissa would have had stage freight and been unable to handle the pressure. The judges new it and made the best decision.

More importantly I think Asia making it proves that there is life beyond being a teen mom and you don’t have to settle for welfare, you can chase your dreams and find success.

For those saying that Asia is a bitc* and that she is not classy, let us also remember that when the shows are edited and put together often it is the producers that pick what ends up on TV that creates an "image". Yes Asia sticks up for herself, and she may have befriended the girls enough to get through the show, however, she did not act as though she were "best friends" with anyone then talk about them the minute they were let go off the show, which is exactly what Melissa did. Asia is already a dancer with the NY Nicks and represents herself in a professional manner. I have witnessed her live as well as on the News here, she has proved herself over and over on the show and she perfomerd her heart out last night like she wanted to win. She deserved to win and I think anyone that won’t buy a PCD album or watch the next season is stupid. She is one person trying to make a living for herself and this was a competition. Competition brings out the worst and best of everyone. Asia may have appeared as the worst personality, but she was the best performer. She also helped the other girls when they were in need. Asia was not selfish or fake, she was just being herself. Chelsea and Melissa were rude and obnoxious making fun of the way Asia pronounced different words instead of constructively correcting her and not being insulting.

I was not a PCD fan before; I thought they were all a bunch of skanky wannabes but this show and specifically Asia have made me a fan.

I really dont understand why everyone is hating on Asia. I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but I think that the fact that Asia has a child is not a reason for her not to win. I think that the best thing that she could have done for her baby was to pursue her dreams. What good would it really do for her baby for her to stay home and flip hamburgers to support her child for the rest of her life. Asia gave her child a real head start in life and opened doors that may never have been opened otherwise. Becoming a PCD is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and now her child will enjoy the fruits of Asia's labour. I think that many people dont understand that college educations funds and adequate housing isnt available upon birth for everyone. Some people are not born with everything that they need to be successful in life. Some have to work really hard to make it...with this said, I congratulate you ASIA!!!

obviously Asia won, because when it comes down to it, overall she was the best performer and best woman for the job, personality aside. she had the best look, enough talent, most professional experience, and the most presence in performance. and, when you look at the makeup of the PCDs, none of them are black, so i'm sure that must have been a factor in the decision. They have enough caucasian girls, and nicole's half filipino, so Asia had the advantage there. in any case, she was the best, hands down!

I don't think it is hate or racism, it's just a lot of us DON'T LIKE Asia compared with the other girls. I think the PCDs have just lost a huge amount of fans. They have lost me. I do not plan to buy, download, or watch anything that has Asia in it, period.

Personality, respect, and responsibility should have been considered by the judges. Let the fans pick, they are the reason the PCDs exist.

Melissa R. is not fake! Look at Asia contradicting herself on last night's episode/season finale?!! She goes on about how she hates fake ass ppl and then on her solo interview, she says how she has to pretend to be best friends with everybody to win the competition. How is that NOT fake??? I understand this is a competition and you're not here to make friends, but you don't have to be such a drama queen like Asia is. Melissa R. should have won last night! I think the reason why she didn't win, because Robin doesn't want her to shine more than Nicole. For Asia, she won because Robin felt sorry for her and her baby. I have to agreed w/ one of the respone. Now that Asia won, she'll be on the road all the time and what's gonna happen to her baby? Especially when babies are that young, they need their mother. Unless she brings her baby w/ her on tour, lol!

I was very disappointed in Robin's decision in choosing Asia. The girl CAN'T sing!!! i would have been happy to see either chelsea or melissa win it. Both can sing way better than Asia any day. I can't stand the singers these days who's only singing because they look good, not because they sound good. I believe all Asia will do is bring so much drama to PCD that the group will just dissipate. They all said Melissa had the total package and I totally agree. I don't agree with their "deer-in-the-headlights" comment, however. Her performance on "Stick with U" was phenomenal. So was Chelsea's performance. Maybe if they gave them all fast beat (up tempo) songs, the judges would have been fairer and wiser? How can you make the crowd go wild with slow songs, right? I really believe Robin made a poor decision and for that, I will not buy PCD's second album. Period.

See Chelsea can't dance and we know that and she needed to know that!!! As for Melissa R. she does have the touch however if u people can remember a few week ago when her and Asia perform together and she started crying in the middle of the song, being a performer u can't have melt down like this in front of millions of people while your on stage, and Asia step up her game and HELP the both of them out because they were performing together.... It would be great if Chelsea and Melissa R. perform solo. They are definitely fantastic singers, dancers and PERFORMERS. Asia rocked the stage too but that hand thing is annoying. I'm sure she wouldn't be singing lead at all since there are so many dolls already. I'm pretty sure Melissa R. didn't get picked because she really resembles Nicole and is prettier, I think!! Why would they want someone to steal her thunder.

But I do LOVE this show. It's real. It's not like American Idol. I just hope next season is as good and I hope there isn't a lot of drama cuz that really takes away from the professionalism of the show.

It would be interesting to see an Asia fan that wasn't Ghetto and that had a stronger grasp of Grammar, first off. Secondly, the fan response rivals that of Sanjaya winning out week after week...not great fan support? The whole package..you've fallen short. You've got a little My Fair Lady work ahead to recover some of your fan base, unless it's your idea to make her a glorified back-up dancer. This is not to say that I'm against her, I simlpy feel your choice has change the presented "Dynamics" of the PDC image and would make me more hesitant to let my daughters put up their poster. Sassy/Classy goes to Thug/Dirty hot. Again, I'm not talking personal hit, more at the image exuded. I guess it comes down to having a good PR person and having Asia and the girls do some charity publicity work. Whether you liked them or not, Melissa and Chelsea did carry themselves better and appeared to be a better role model to teenage girls.

I loved Chelsea from the start and I think she should've won. Asia is a good singer and dancer but I think she acts really stuck up and she whines too much about her being a mother and missing her child. She should've stayed home with her baby. I'm not saying it's a bad thing she has a little girl, but if she missed her that much like they showed on the show then imagine when she goes on tour with the rest of the girl group. Plus she really annoyed me with her bad attitude. It should've been Chelsea if not then Melissa. That's just my opinion!!

Asia, I'm so proud of you!!!We were praying that you took the whole thing. It has nothing to do with you being African American. You were determined to live your dream and you did. Who cares if you had a child at 18 or not. I had my daughter at a young age and keep up with my dreams to finish college and I did. You keep working hard and never stop reaching the top. I think it is a shame how everybody is ragging on Asia. To call her a ho, skank, and slut is totally disrespectful, rude and the move of a HATER. The fact is there are many people who have had babies at a young age (including myself-age 18). But, the fact is, it's not about the mistake that was made, but what you do after that mistake. We don't have to worry about the welfare system taking care of her baby, so what is it to you? I was able to complete high school and go on to get my Bachelor's degree and be successful in my career. I thought all of the finale 3 were good, but they chose who they wanted. I think Asia is gorgeous. Believe me, if she can't sing or whatever problems you guys see, they can fix it. They can have her teeth fixed, have her take vocal lessons and dance lessons if they want to. Evidently, Asia is who they wanted for the group, for whatever reason. I don't even think it matters if she didnt sing as good as the others. Can you really tell me that the other PCD can really sing. i saw the finale and to be honest i found the judges were dead wrong. Asia is a very bad example to the youth of today, especially as she was prepared to extoll the virtues of teenage motherhood. her use of the english language would make oprah, mlk and frederick douglass turn in their graves/ beds. not to mention her ghetto temper, she was the only one that ever threatened violence on another candidate. maybe melissa r should have carried a gun in case Asia was going to get all V tech on her ass. i feel as a young black (colored, as she was not 100% African American) girl empowering herself, she has done a great job and will be able to provide for her child as a child should be provided for. melissa R looked like a mix of Cristina A and Nicole, but she had the talent. Chelsea should have won, she had the inocent, yet sexy look that typifies the PCD's.

SO I THOUGHT MEL R WOULD WIN B/C EVEN THO I HOPED MY FAVORITE CHELSEA WOULD WIN I KNEW THEY DIDNT WANT TO KEEP SPENDING MONEY FOR SOME1 TO LEARN HOW TO DANCE-- SO I THOUGHT OK THE FULL PACKAGE - WHICH IS WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR IS MEL R -- SHE CAN DANCE SHE IS FIERCE SHE KNOWS HOW TO WORK HER BODY AND IS SUCH AN AMAZING SINGER-- WHEN SHE SANG THAT AREOSMITH SONG I JUST WANTED TO CRY-- SHE CAN REALLY MOVE PEOPLE WITH THAT KIND OF VOICE AND EVEN THOUGH I LIKED ASIA I DIDNT BELIEVE SHE WOULD WIN-- B/C LIKE EVERONE B4 ME- MENTIONED SHE KEPT TWICHING HER FINGERS AND COULDNT GET HER TONE DOWN RIGHT AND WAS TOLD THIS MANY TIMES ... I HONESTLY THINK THEY PICKED HER B/C SHE IS PRETTY BUT NOW A DAYS CONTESTS LIKE TO SHOW PPL WHO ARE STRUGGLING TO BE ON TOP LIKE AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL-- LAST SEASON CARRIDEE WON B/C SHE HAD SOME TYPE OF SKIN DISEASE BUT SHE MADE IT THROUGH AND I KNOW THEY LIKE TO SHOW EXAMPLES OF YOUNG GIRLS STRUGGLING AND MAKING IT TO THE TOP AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE THEN A YOUNG NICE BEAUTIFUL GIRL WHO HAS A BABY GIRL-- BUT EVEN THOUGH THAT DOES SHOW YOU YOU CAN MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT -- IT ALSO MESSES UP WHAT THE CONTEST IS ALL ABOUT-- WHICH IS WHO IS THE BEST -- WHICH IS HONESTLY MEL R. I MEAN JUST B/C SHE DOESNT HAVE A KID DOESNT MEAN SHE DIDNT GO THROUGH HER OWN STRUGGLES OR IS GOING THROUGH THINGS..... THIS IS MY OPINNION AND I RESPECT WHAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO SAY BUT PLEASE NO MORE "I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE HATING HER B/C SHES BLACK" B/C THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHY MANY OF US THINK SHE SHOULDNT HAVE WON....

The entire final group was very talented...I liked them all because of their own special something; however, I was an Asia fan from the beginning. I became a PCD fan because they are exciting entertainers...I mean let's be honest singing wise PCD does not have any power houses that people will be talking about 20 years from now but what they do have is showmanship. People stop to watch them. Asia fits into that. Melissa and Chelsea don't give that vibe. Chelsea doesn't have that kind of energy but I love her voice and Melissa still has some barriers to breakdown about her parents before she really comes into her own. Asia has no fear so Robin can get her to the next level. Robin formed PCD without any help from the fans and obviously has made some great choices...why do people think all the sudden she's gone crazy. And the guy judge was very critical of Asia but knows she will fit with PCD also.

And people please stop talkin about that womans baby...God don't like ugly. That child didn't do anything to anything to anyone. Her mom is doing the "responsible" thing by going out and taking chances so her daughter can have the best life possible. And as far as seeing her...come on stars travel kids all the time. As long as the baby is loved and supported she'll be fine! Dang...and Asia has been deemed a ho because why? I hope all those making those comments don't get bitten in the ass by your children or grandchildren poppin up pregnant young. It won't feel good to hear your neighbors talkin bout you like that.

I can't believe I wasted my time watching this show just to see fake Asia win. Melissa R. was way better and should have won. If not Mellissa R. I'd rather have Chelsea win cuz shes a better singer than Asia and you can always fix dancing but you can't fix singing. You either got it or you don't and Asia doesn't have it. Good Luck to you Melissa R. and Chelsea. You two deserved it more.

I don't know why u think Melissa R. is black. She's Asia umm take a closer look. I can't believe Asia won. I really thought Mellissa R. was gonna win. She's so much better and Asia has attitude which means she can't work well w/ others. Shes just gonna create drama w/ the PCD. Besides the fact that she can't sing, what kind of person would abandon their child to jion a singing group which travels alot. And what kind of example are they setting by picking Asia, thats like saying hey, its okay to have a baby in your teens and drop them off at your mothers to be selfish and go away to jion a sing group.

It's pretty easy to make rude and immature comments about someone when you're sitting behind a computer...Though Asia wasn't my top pick, (I was rooting for Chelsea, she's adorable!) She still deserved to win, she worked just as hard as the other girls, and really does compliment the group as well...So grow up and find something better to do with your time...Or try out next season if you think yo
