I'm actually really suprised the show ended... i just found out,because i was trying to find out when the show would begin to play again. I'd like to say it suck that veronica Mars ended. It had a different style and was fun to watch i loved how sarcastic Veronica was.

I say that the show should be brought back, I'd watch it in a heart beat!

wtf was going through your head when you cancelled this show? i mean.... gossip girls? reaper? pussycat dolls? why not just tell the next generation to become a bunch of whores? this was honestly one of the best shows that the CW has ever had and you cancelled it, for a bunch of stupid shit that nobody watches, except for guys who can't afford porn, and need something to beat off to. your all out of your minds. how many comments do you need to realize you made a mistake?

Oh, I dare say Veronica Mars is one of the top five series I've ever seen and watched (EACH epesode a dusins of times actually), and I also might point out that I most certainly was, to put it lightly, unsatisfied by the way it all ended. Episode 20, season three. Seriously. Is this really a worthy way of ending such a wonderful adventure(if on might put it that way)? Few questions answered, what happened to the murder of Aaron Echolls, for one. Then Veronica and Logan and televisions most amazing father, Keith Mars. Who won the election? What happens to Veronica and Logan? Will she end up being with Piz?! Yes, I know he is a really sweet guy and all of that, but it's obvious (and it has been for a while) that Logan and Veronica were and are meant to be together.

Well, I suppose I'll have to settle with this dissapointing end of an era in my life, being a truly devoted Veronica Mars fan. No more episodes, no more shows. No more Veronica, no more Logan, Duncan, Weevel, Wallace, Mac, Keith, Piz, or any other of the wonderful characters. Thing is, right now I'm quite sure it will take me a while to get over them. Escpecially concidered the terribly unsatisfying (as mentioned earlier) way it all ends for each of these characters.

But anyhow, I'd like to thank Rob thomas for creating this wonderful show that kept me watching television for quite a few hours. I'd also like to thank all the amazing actors for an incredible performance, and CW for sending this show in the first place. I've had the time of my life. And even though I'm really sorry for it ending like that, in the end it was all wortth it.

And by the way - Logan and Veronica does get married and have two childre, and Keith Mars becomes the new sheriff in town. At least in my mind and, let's say, way of finding a way to dealing with the show ending right now withouth these wishes fulfilled.

Well it is the WB or was the WB turned CW, but none the less they are the only station less likely to stand by a show. For example, Buffy, Angel, The Mountain and I know theres a few others I'm forgetting. Now I'm just waiting for them to cancel Smallville and Supernatural. It should be happening any day now. Then there really won't be much left to watch on CW. News cast suck, reality shows are like sleeping pills on tv. Honestly not much quality left to the station.

WOW!! I am so disappointed! I had only seen a few of these shows but then yesterday I got bord and downloaded the whole season three on my itunes... I am so addicted and CAN NOT believe that it is no longer on the air and the way it ended! It pisses me off!

Heard that it was series finale , but didn't believe it. Nothing like leaving us wanting more. Hardly worthwhile turning tv on anymore. All good shows are ending.

Hello everyone! I'm from Belgium, a little country in europe. Today they broadcasted the last episode of VM on Belgium tv. And I don't like it neither that the cw has cancelled this show. I liked it a lot. and reading all of the other comments, i believe the cw is digging it's own grave by cancelling a lot of good shows. Hopefully one day they get back there brains and there wil be a new season(s) of veronica mars. sweet greetings

i really liked the show it was full of action and included many important issues that we're facing in society.....although the show wasn't at its best like season 1&2...it was still nice to watch i was hoping that it comes back this season and it will be just like the first 2 seasons....and plus Logan is so fine....

I'm very disappointed to find out Veronica will not be back. The only reason I came on line was to find out when the new ep was supposed to be. Boy was I shocked to find out it was over. Do to work I have always taped the show and did not bother with tv during the summer. I had no clue it was over. This is the only show I have ever bought one of those DVD seasons. I'm really going to miss her witty comments, the great relationship with her Dad and (corny I know;-)hoping her and Logan will make it through everything in the end and be stronger and better for it all. I'm not interested in looking for a new show. I found this show one night I didn't work and was completely bored enough to turn on the tv. (I had finished my book and hadn't gotten another) Well this was a crummy thing to learn and way for things to be done. Who makes these crazy choices about what I should like to watch vs. what I do like?

It makes no sense to me that they take of VM a show that deals with some real topics. But stupid stuff like pussycat dolls comes on. I'm so bummed they should at least tieup some lose ends for us.

This show is amazing. I just bought the first season on DVD so that i could watch it whenever i wanted. Eventually i'm going to buy the second. And the third. I love this show. It's got so many amazing things about it. I have to admit, i'm quite jealous of Veronica, she knows how to solve a mystery. I would be so upset, and so will millions of other fans, if this show doesn't go on. Like everyone else has said, if you need more ratings, you need more ads. Heck, i've told all my friends about the show and they're dying to see what it is i'm so crazy about. I love this show. It gives me something to look forward to on tuesday nights. I am so tired of the now CW taking away shows I love. First they took away Everwood without any ending, then Gilmore Girls with a terrible ending, and now Veronica Mars. I'm so tired of this network's changes that I'm about to write it off completely. Please give Veronica Mars another chance. It was a great show without much publicity. The new 3rd season format didnt work for VM. I liked how previous seasons daily mysteries always tied into the 1 main mystery. I think they need to go back to what worked for them in the beginning. Also the characters changed so much to fit into this cookie cutter "WB" image! What happened to biting sarcastic witty dialogue?? What happened to that crackling chemistry b/ Logan and veronica... he became such a love sick fool this season. Bring back sarcastic Logan... bring back veronica voiceovers.... bring back more Wallace and Mac quality screen time... plain and simple BRING BACK THE OLD VERONICA MARS!!!!!!

My kids and I love Veronica Mars. We are saddened to hear that it will no longer be on. what a mistake this network is making.

I'm a 24 year veteran working in a high school, age 64, and think the subjects tackled on Veronica are very important for minds forming opinions about the world, prejudice, relations, acceptance of differences, looking beneath the surface, not jumping to conclusions, and the relationship between kids and adults. How refreshing to see Veronica and her Dad's relationship! How unique to see that all adults aren't depicted as restrictive, reationary dullards without a clue about kids' lives, and can care and love and try to cope with not knowing exactly what to do at times; and how she respects and cares for him. I tape all episodes and look forward to seeing each. I know many students who love the show! How can a network take off such a benefit for maturing people where there are so many other examples of malicious treatment of others: demeaming, tearingdown, getting kicks and reveling in others bad fortunes, pain, embarrasments, and destruction-- all competing for what they learn and assimilate that will form how they will live? How many "specials" do we have to see about the deplorable relationships kids have with each other to begin to see the relationship between what they learn and copy from the media and the disregard for others' feelings and complete lack of empathy in psychological and physical bullying? Those who live now and in the future do not need more Pussycat Dolls, sex, wrestling, violence, and vampires. We need Veronica and all the elements that have been written in her life. And all the many possiblities of illuminating human relationships awaiting!! Seems to me that a little more advertising will solve the ratings problem. I stumbled onto it at the end of a season and wondered why I had never been aware of it before. We're bombarded with all the inanities, why not Veronica? Seems like advertising was held back and just targeted for a limited audience.

The fans DESERVE more than the cliffhanger we were given as the season finale, no wait...series finale?!?! C'mon...where's the respect?! Give Rob Thomas and the writers' another chance to come up with at least a mini-series finale or something. Honestly can't believe P. dolls or Aliens is making the Fall line up over Veronica Mars!! Where are your heads CW? WIsh Veronica and Piz had more time together. They were a great couple!

This show has great writing, great actors and is so much fun to watch and you know you have an audience. You will have such an excited and devoted audience if you will only give Veronica Mars another chance.
I have been and continue to be a devoted Veronica Mars fan. I have been watching Veronica Mars for three seasons and it is my absolute favorite show. I don't answer the phone; I always record it if I'm not able to be home and I have bought the DVDs for Season One and Season Two and am planning on getting Season Three as soon as it is available. The music on Veronica Mars is also excellent and I have purchased the Veronica Mars CD as well.
I have currently been getting all of my friends to watch the DVDs and am getting them hooked on this show. Just today I had a friend email me saying she loved Veronica Mars and thanked me for introducing it to her. She described it as a “drama and mystery and comedy all in one show! It has kept me very entertained. I’m addicted”.
In my opinion, it is the best show on the CW. It is probably the only show I watched on your network besides Gilmore Girls. It was time for Gilmore Girls to end, and they got their ending. It is not time for Veronica Mars to end.
It makes me so sad to think that those last two episodes are the end. To let the story line between Logan and Veronica end that way is not fair to the viewers. There are so many stories left untold. Their relationship is supposed to be epic. How can it be epic if Veronica Mars ends and the story has not been resolved, with Veronica and Logan apart? Not to mention all the other wonderful people in the cast. I love Wallace, Mac and Dick and I think the relationship between Veronica and her father sets a wonderful example of love and loyalty in a family.
It is also quite disconcerting that Veronica Mars is being replaced possibly by the reality show, The Pussy Cat Dolls. Do we need another reality show, especially one that objectifies women in such a way? Veronica Mars teaches girls that what is desired in a woman is brains, wit and humor - not bosom and behind and petty cat fights.
Please give Rob Thomas the ability to give my favorite show some closure, so dedicated fans don’t end up resenting the CW. Fans have invested to much time and heart watching this show to have it ripped out from under them with no closure, no resolution. The cancellation of Veronica Mars after this third season is like cutting out the last chapter of your favorite novel. What fun would it be to read Jane Eyre if you never found out she went back to Thornfield to be with Rochester. How romantic would Pride and Prejudice be if it ended before Elizabeth and Darcy finally were honest with each other about their love? The whole story is ruined because of the lack of ending.
I actually knew there was a new show on the CW called Hidden Palms last week. I flipped it on to check it out and then realized how upset I was with the CW network for canceling Veronica Mars and I turned the show off. I should also tell you that I have been a Nielsen house for over a year now and what I watch does count. I don’t know if I can continue watching the CW – I feel very sad and hurt that such a smart wonderful show has been taken away from me. I know it sounds silly to be so upset about a television show, but that is honestly how I feel.
I'm trying to be as polite as possible, when I really want to scream!

What is wrong with these people? One of the few good shows on t.v. and of course it has to get canceled. I had heard the rumors that it might be canceled but then the network proceeded to air the "Season Finale". I can't believe that they would rather have a second season of the Search for the Next Pussycat Doll than an actual decent show. Maybe someone with a decent brain cell will pick it up on another network. Stranger things have happened.

ok so we can all agree that VM ended poorly leaving us with a really cuious and saddened look on our faces. so how bout we do the same thing we did for 7th Heaven (which over stayed its welcome) and BRING BACK VERONICA MARS!!!!!!!!!! u just put it against gilmore girls and u put the 3rd season on CW like not many ppl kno bout season 1 and 2 especially when most of UPN (now my9) shows are cancelled. Don't cancel Veronica Mars its amazing!!

This is such sad news. Years ago I was addicted to this channel, watching at least one show a night if not more. Lately though it seems I'm only watching the late night reruns of Friends, Sex and the City, and Will and Grace. I loved this show and the fact that they took that off shows that this channel is totally going away from what a good story line is.

This story was one of the most realistic ones airing right now. It wasn't something that was fake, or the as if stories, or girls going at it. It was as if V. Mars could have been the girl sitting next to you in class. As realistic as it was it shouldn't have been taken off.

There have been many shows with not to good of seasons, but they were able to go on with better seasons. Why take this show off? It doesn't make sense.

Basically, none of the shows on here are any good, who ever is making these final decisions on shows should step down because their view of what the audience wants to watch is completely off! BRING BACK VERONCIA MARS!!!!

I'll look forward to your reasoning about your Veronica/Logan rationale. I like a good debate. Me, I find them to be a fascinating take on male/female relationships because they don't fit into any TV mold i've encountered. Here is my own small essay about it (Apologies to all for the length):

Here are two people who connect on mutually dependent deep-seated levels, make a habit of rescuing each other, then systematically tearing each other apart. Both have severe emotional scars and share innate recognition of each other's vulnerability. This scarring causes them to repeatedly hurt each other, understanding but unable to help, the other's pain. Veronica and Logan are a microcosm of the very best and very worst in intimate human relationships. Veronica can't trust, needs help in overcoming her fears of intimacy -- amazingly, the one thing Logan excels at is intimate honesty, at least with Veronica. Logan can't see himself as worthy of love by a woman who is as self-confident as Veronica appears to be -- amazingly, the one thing Veronica never doubts is Logan's worth.

Veronica is the stronger of the two but she shows little sense of responsibility when she throws emotional punches. Since she is usually right it's even more difficult for her to accept she might occasionally be wrong. Veronica has great trouble seeing the gray areas in the behavior of those few people she truly loves. By refusing to acknowledge and accept the murky areas of Logan's own troubled psyche, she sets them both up to lose.

An important aspect of Veronica and Logan's relationship is vocalized midway through season three. Veronica tells Logan he has no right to go behind her back to protect her even though she won't allow him to do so openly, putting the traditionally male Logan in a position of humiliating uselessness. She tells him he has always known her and if he can't accept her, their relationship won't work. Logan replies that she also knows him, and yet he is the one who is always expected to change when she tells him to. A confused and untrusting Veronica unwillingly agrees when Logan demands an answer to whether she loves him and also agrees when he suggests that they go easier on each other. (3:08) This exchange is almost heartbreaking as it illustrates how two good-intentioned people mistake what's going on between them.

Veronica acts as Logan's conscience and his devotion to her is so complete he will try to be almost anything he thinks she wants, real or imagined. This devotion is also what makes Logan ready to beat the holy hell out of anyone he believes may threaten her. For Veronica, Logan represents the inhibitions she would shed if she had the courage -- the primal side of her nature, both sexual and occasionally violent. Veronica is most attracted to Logan's bad boy persona but society's morality won't allow her to openly admit this. To compensate, she withdraws from the feelings she finds so difficult. Logan is more open with his emotions, but they emerge distorted.

Veronica wants to trust someone, wants to trust Logan to whom she connects so deeply. Even as she sets herself up to be disappointed by him, she can't seem to understand her own contribution. Of course she is going to be disappointed by Logan. She is, after all, pathologically suspicious (3:03) and has a thing for reforming unreformable bad boys. (3:03). The problem is that Veronica isn't able to ask about her suspicions up front, she must spy, use subterfuge, even ask for proof of what her bad boy is up to. This isn't a way to find trust.

Logan effectively does his part in this fight of longing, hidden conflict, and miscommunication. As he tells Veronica in a phone message she deletes without listening to, it's encouraging someone still has such high expectations of him (3:12). His past has left him with no expectations of himself and no reason to believe he deserves to have anyone think highly of him. This vulnerability in Logan manifests in his need to take care of scarred women, and Veronica in particular. So why does he so often sabotage his own honest efforts to be the man Veronica seems to think she wants?

His lack of confidence in his own good qualities has its roots in the abuse from his psychotic father and leads him to do his damnedest to push away the few people he genuinely loves. He's the romantic to Veronica's realist. But his romanticism is also a curtain to obscure the many weaknesses he can't look at. He knows they are there but, like any frightened child in the night, Logan won't look under the bed to confront imaginary monsters.

Veronica is the only woman capable of seeing him as a man, not a product of his family's infamy. She has seen how the corrupt limelight makes Logan fear opening up to any other woman in a meaningful way. Logan brings out Veronica's sexuality as no other man will be able to do since no other man understands her past rape as Logan does.

Veronica unknowingly emasculates Logan as she pursues her own agenda to be self-sufficient. Logan, with some awareness, allows her to do it because he truly wants to serve her. Veronica, in her youth and inexperience doesn't realize the responsibility she has in accepting Logan's complex needs to revere her and serve her. Instead she takes what he offers, many times without concern as to the impact on Logan. When he lets her down, she feels betrayed.

Neither of them can step back from their destructive passion for each other even though underneath the passion there is sound friendship, even the trust that Veronica can't admit.

In the end, maybe it all comes down to one thing. Will Veronica ever trust herself enough to say, "I love you, Logan?"

As I said, it makes for very interesting TV.

Actually, none of the points that you mention were missed by me. I've already pondered everything that you have stated before coming to any of my conlusions. I will in fact respond with my complete reasoning for this later (probably tomorrow), because I simply do not have the time to properly give a response right now. But I will say that Veronica Mars the Show...without Logan/Veronica....would definitely not have had the same dramatic excitement as it does with them. I have NEVER refuted this, but at some point it has to run it course....and I'm sorry, but to me...(as well as a lot of my friends) Veronica comes off as stupid at times....to bad there wasn't a sex tape of Logan and Madelyn (I think that's her name....you know the girl that drugged Veronica & spelled SLUT on her car) Now....Veronica being forced to watch that tape?...Now that might have slapped some sense back into our Miss Mars ....and don't say it was okay for Logan to do that because they were seperated.....if he loves her then that's no excuse. Even Kristen Bell admited that in real life...especially after Logan having slept with his best friends step mom (although I can't blame Logan...Miss Casablancas was FRICK'N FINE!)....THERE IS NO WAY SHE WOULD BE DATING LOGAN.

All I know is that their LoVe can't be that "EPIC" if the ratings themselves aren't. Popular....yes...."EPIC"? No.

I think you might both be missing something in regards to the Veronica and Logan storyline.

Yes, Logan, is a messed up guy. And that's why he's so fascinating as a character. It's probably why Veronica finds him so fascinating, too, since she has her own personal demons.

Their story makes for exciting T.V. As does Veronica's relationship with the other important man in her life: her dad.

Veronica stupid? In what universe? She is a complex character with a load of trust and intimacy issues regarding men and relationships. Veronica a slut? She has had sex with two men and was raped by a third. One man was her first love, and another has been her friend since she was 12. How does that make her a slut?

I find the Veronica and Logan story a driving force in the show. That, and the chemistry between those two is perhaps the strongest I've ever seen.

i can't believe veronica mars is being canceled! it's the reason i watch T.V. they should cancel friends or sumthing that only plays repeats now! this is going to be bad for the cw. everyone loves many of the shows it has canceled! someone should do something before the channel completely falls through the cracks!

i am so sad that this show is being canceled. totally disgusted when my husband told me that the pussycat dolls is coming back. what, was veronica not skanky enough for cw? perhaps not trashy enough? i just don't get it. she was more real than a lot of "reality" tv including the pussycat dolls. a girl who was part role model, part not the girl you want to bring home to mommy. my husband and i were loyal fans and will be very sad to see this one go. i wish there was some way to save it. it's one of the few shows we make the effort to watch now that we have a baby and have zero free time; somehow we always carved out the time to catch this show. i know i'm probably in the minority here, but i will especially miss the relationship between keith and veronica, as a child of divorce who was never close to her father, i love watching a strong relationship between a dad and daughter played out on tv, which sometimes feels like it's one of the few places that such a relationship exists.

Okaaaaaay 'Kristen Bell Fan'. Yeah I know, it's obvious that Logan makes Veronica look bad. And he does. He really does, but she's also a slut as you say. It's their relationship that attracts most people. I would have "tuned off", when Piz started dating Veronica. Trust me, I hated that. But I just had to see if Veronica gets back together with Logan or not. Or where they stand now. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen since theere's no season 4. I have to admit I'm not as disappointed to see it go anymore. It wasn't totally good anymore and a total waste of my tuesday nights. I'll just stick with season 1 and season 2 and totally forget what happened in season 3.

cancelling Veronica Mars... why? The last two episodes this season proves to us exactly WHY it should stay on. It had all the elements of a very promising and brilliant show. Cancelling it with all those open ends will really PISS people off.

Personally, this is why I occasionally tuned off from this show. I could never completely swallow the whole Logan/Veronica pairing. Not that it wasn't entertaining, just that it made it hard to like Veronica as the hero at times. Despite Logan's (or should I say Jason's) James Dean like qualities....AS A PERSON....Logan was quite...shall we say...UNSPEAKABLY UGLY from the very beggining. Logan fans can make all the excuses they want for him and his actions, but that doesn't change who and what he is. And even though I rooted for Veronica, in the back of my mind, the LoVe pairing made me think one constant subliminal message....that Veronica was kind of a slut.

It is so weird that I found the Logan/Veronica relationship both entertaining and revolting at the same time. This became even more so after having seen all of season 1 now. Yikes! It makes me question at times whether Veronica is stupid or something....sorry, but that initial impression has only become stronger towards the end of season 3. Especially with the power of the "You're out of my life Forever" speech, to the the "it's going to take some time this time". Both in the same episode? IT JUST MADE VERONICA LOOK STUPID! And it ruined the drama & power of that first scene. If it had happened a couple of episodes later (although we all know now that would not have been possible) it probably would have worked (because we all know they would have tangled again....whether for good or bad). So in a nut shell....for me Logan/Veronica makes for entertainment, but it also makes our blonde hero look really bad.

Basically, I believe that the main problem with VM is that one has to watch it from the very beginning to get hooked......that's the true reason I believe for the constant low ratings....but the Logan/Veronica pairing, though fascinating to watch at times.....also didn't help it in the "long run" either. Case and point, How can some fans say that Logan is so sweet for appologizing to someone for unjustly beating the crap out of them when they were COMPLETELY INNOCENT?!!!.....especially when Logan is always doing such stupid and questionable deeds. Something is so twisted about that. Makes me think Logan could kill someone, and then be considered so sweet because he appologized to the dead person's family. Uhhhhh.....such utter fan blindness!

I don't understand how CW11 can cancel a excellent show like "Veronica Mars" but add two stupid shows, Beauty and The Geek and Pussy Cat Dolls. If they gave Veronica a better time slot and stop putting the show on hiatus, viewership would improve.

Please bring back one of my favorite shows.

It defintely seems like Girlmore Girls' time had come, especially after so many years (and I am a hardcore Girlmore Girls fan as well), but there were definitely several more years of godd V. Mars drama in there somewhere. I really don't understand why this show is getting cancelled...

I will so miss this show. I finally got my husband to watch it and he loved it too. He ended up being so bummed out it was cancelled. The finale was good for a season but I feel totally left hanging knowing it was a series finale. My main thoughts are about Logan and Veronica. Piz was cute when it was unrequited love but once they were together, it fizzled for me. VM needs a strong personality like Logan.

Oh, and I have read postings that people think if it went on, Veronica would be dealing with Logan's death from the mob (after that awesome a** kicking he laid out to Gory) but I choose to believe that Veronica is smarter than the mob and would take the necessary steps to save Logan. Right?

I love Veronica mars!! I'm so upset about it being cancelled!! I am losing two of my favorite shows:Gilmore Girls and VM. Not Fair!!! Please Put VM back on the air. As happy as i was for having two hours of VM, the CW never said that it was cancelled.

I only watch three TV shows. "24" "Smallville" and "Veronica Mars."
I guess my TV viewing is down to 2 hours a week now that VM has been cancelled. And I won't have to buy any more DVDs either since I tend to buy the season from Amazon every year.
I suppose that all the suppliers of goods and services who would like to sell to me, a member of that illustrious group of 18-45 year olds, since I won't be seeing any of your ads and I throw away the junk mail without even opening it.
Hmmm, now that I think of it... it's a lose, lose, lose situation all around.

They should try cancelling some of those crap shows like girlfriends its been going long enough let it go!!! and all of us does anyone really watch that??? Gilmore girls was a good time to close but VM has just started to get going and they chop it down?!?!

It's the CW's fault if ratings for VM dropped this season. They shouldn't have taken such a long break with that horrible reality show, the search for the next Pussy Cat Doll! No one in their right mind would watch that show and I'm a Reality tv junkie! I can't believe that people are saying this season of VM was bad. This is the season that finally hooked my husband into watching. He can't believe they're leaving us hanging either! You have to bring it back, or at least a spin off with Veronica as a FBI agent. Maybe in can replace one of the many (way to many) CSI shows!

In the end Rob Thomas pulled off an amazing coup: he brought the show almost full circle, if that circle were slightly punchy, leaving Veronica in glass-darkly familiar place.

A 4th season would have continued to skewer the lines between power and wealth; status and respect; doing what's right and doing what's convenient. Above all, that once in a while the underdog will bring down the privileged baddie.

The show stayed so true to itself, that the last episode can be viewed as the end. At least, the end, as Veronica herself might view it.

Still, if a 4th season could somehow be arranged (hey, how about "USA" or "Lifetime" picking it up?) I'll be right there watching.

my surprise is that a show like Heroes which is well written and acted can make it but VM which is equally well done can't? was it all due to lack of promotion or what? i agree with those who would rather see Veronica go down with all flags flying than limp along as a sub par version of itself to a pitiful end. the fans can hold their heads up as we got 3 more seasons than Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, Wonderfalls just to mention a few fine shows. if they were replacing VM with something interesting it would be one thing but that appears too much to hope for. and they wonder what's causing the decline in viewers. jeesh!

Neil, you can't believe that Rob Thomas was blindsided by this cancellation. Not with the ratings VM drew the second half of this season. He'd have to be living in a dreamworld. Did he think critical acclaim would allow Veronica to float year after year? VM wasn't good enough this season. The creative quality really suffered. It was only a shell of what it was during its first season. I'm sorry, but Veronica Mars was far from great television this season. Any other network would have cancelled a long time ago. I grew so tired of the Veronica-Logan nonsense and lack of tightly written mysteries that I gave up. Un-American Graffiti may have been the single worst episode of the entire three seasons.

Eric Kripke scripted a finale for his show that could have served as a series finale in case he wasn't renewed. Supernatural had a higher season average than VM in a much tougher timeslot. If Kripke was worried, why didn't Rob Thomas have a clue? Did he think he wouldn't get cancelled simply because his show was the "great" Veronica Mars? That's pretty arrogant and pretty dumb on his part. Arrested Development had far more critical acclaim than VM received, and it was cancelled.

I am so mad about Veronica Mars being cancelled!!!!!!! It's not fair!!!! I mean, first Gilmore Girls, now Veronica Mars...soon they won't have anyone watching their channel!!!!! They are taking away all of the good shows that are on!!!!

With respect to what Takestani said I can't agree with you. Thomas had no idea there would be no fourth season until very late so how was he supposed to close all of the storylines? I mean the CW upfronts were only one week before the finale so to blame Thomas (who is a good writer) is the wrong thing to do. By the way why put the viewing numbers up, we all know how people don't watch this show when they should. Maybe you could concentrate on finding some positives about the show, it was pretty damn good if you ask me when compared to the other junk shown on tv today.

Don't blame Rob Thomas for what amounts to the network's decision to cancel the show. These last few episodes have been brilliant -- obviously leading up to another excellent season -- only to be ended by the CW's search for the illusive Next Big Thing.

I cant stress this enough THE CW IS NUTS, NUTS I SAY!!! to let Veronica Mars go. Its a major disappointment when one of your ultimate best shows is killed off without even a fighting chance. Since the merger, this show wasnt even allowed the oportunity to gain momentum. It was just kicked around and beaten bloody until some genius decided the search for the next PCD or Beauty & the Geek was better television. I loved last nights finale. "ROB THOMAS IS A WHORE" that killed me....Hes great at what he does if only he was given a chance without interference to do it. "Every school has their obligatory jackass & he's ours..." Three seasons wasnt enough for me but they were great. Veronica Mars will live on forever on DVD so stock up, I already have!!!!

Another season.. please? even if it's not the complete season. I just want to resolve everything: Logan and veronica's relationship, Keith Mars' election, and Weevil turning bad again. I wanna see how it actually ends.

Please don't cancel Veronica Mars!! This is probably the best show on the CW! I can understand Gilmore Girls but not Veronica Mars! Veronica Mars was one of the few shows on the CW that has a great main character who is smart, witty and isn't a whore! You'll regret it if you cancel this show because it will be a HUGE loss to the CW.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! what is with ending this show?? its one of the good shows on TV where we dont have to watch people eat stuff or jump off buildings. i cant believe you cancelled it? why? theres so much you could do with it. this wasnt even a real season, there was no overall mystery like the other seasons and i am thouroughly disappionted. i think it needs another chance. :'(

No Veronica Mars- No Gilmore Girls. Smallville is the only thing left worth watching. I certainly won't be watching the mindless and unentertaining Beauty in the Geek. You kept 7th Heaven all those years and that show was awful. Your getting rid of a really good show.

PLEASE DON'T CANCEL VERONICA MARS. It was a smart, funny, enjoyable show with s spunky herione. Unlike most of tv girl role models, Veronica was smart, witty, and did not throw her clothes off off for just anybody. Getting rid of this show would be a HUGE loss to the CW.

Those were amazing episodes, but they couldn't have ended worse! Howcould the cw just end it like that! that was far from a finale! we didnt find out anything! if youre going to cancle the show at least do it nicely and make the last episode what the viewers want! All I am asking for is one more season. Even just a shortened 13 episode season will do. The end of the season was great and introduced amazing plot lines that would have worked out great for next year! But more than that, I just want closure, even on the simple things. I want to know what happens to Veronica and Logan and whether Keith gets to be sheriff. I mean will half a season really kill the CW?

veronica is one of the only great shows on tv because it dosnt go with the flow with this other fluff filled shows. i think that taking it off is just a way that some guys in suits can make more money while continuously dumming down the rest of america

Ever hear the phrase, "Too little, too late?" This season as a whole has disappointed. If Rob Thomas purposefully didn't script any sort of closure for his characters, that's his own fault. I blame him for trying to alter Veronica to fit its lead in, Gilmore Girls. The first three standalones were terrible and I could have done without turning Logan into a complete wimp all season long.

No wonder the final ratings for last night were so pitful. Travis Yanan at pifeeback.com always has them. First hour--1.782 million. 1.0 18-34 demo. Second hour--2.151 million. 1.2 18-34 demo. Simply not good enough.

NOOOOO!!! I just have to see what happens with Logan and Veronica's relationship. I so was hoping theyd get back together in the season finale. It's so sweet how Logan beats the dude up for gloating at veronica. And how he apoligizes to Piz. Gosh, he can like get totally killed, but he did it for Veronica. GOSHH! It sucks that Veronica Mars ended. Now i have to create my own ending of Logan and Veronica getting back together sooner or later. They've through so much together and Logan will never stop having feelings for veronica.

*Aww poor Piz for getting beaten up. Too bad he's not strong enough to actually fight back instead of just throwing a few punches.

CW bring this show back. It is a great show and it lacked the appropriate advertising and consistent schedule to reach its audience. The show is amazing!

I can not believe that this network is canceling and intelligent, hard-hitting show for the inane Pussy Cat Dolls. HOw about keeping an independent thinking, smart girl who is a positive role model instead of filling people head with America's Next Top Skank? This network already has so few shows that are even worth watching and you keep taking them off the air, just so they can be replace with crap.

I hate that they are not bringing it back!!! I just got into it in December 06', after leaving the TV on after GG,I got into it and ran out to but season 1 & 2 and the soundtrack. It really sucks that it won't be back. I will nothing left next fall, except Smallville and maybe OTH. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!! PLEASE RECONSIDER CW!!!

It sucks that it got canceled I actually didn't know until I read the comments on here. Now I'm sad.

I liked the whole thing, it had it's ups and down.

It really creeped me out when I saw that painting of Lily, for a second I thought the whole Castles were obssesed with Lily I never would of guessed it was Kane that was in charge.

They really should bring it back. I mean they should bring back, omg I forgot his name, Duncan and see how he's doing and stuff.

I actually think that Logan and Veronica should get back together I loved them together. Not that I don't like Piz and Veronica but Logan and Veronica have been through a lot, and they have that bond.

And I want to know what's gonna happen with Mac. I mean the whole Dick apologizing to her and stuff. Oh ya and Dick well he should be coming back maybe have his heart broken big time and stuff it might make him less of a Dick and more humane (Logan like).

And Wallace didn't get kicked out because he lied. He stopped talking after he heard the lir made the other member get shocked. jsut thought you should know. :)

I am with Cassie. I just got into Veronica Mars this year. I happened upon an episode because of GG and I loved it now I want more and just my luck...they get rid of it!!! WHY CW???? WHY???? I think this show is awesome and I wish I would have found out about it earlier. I will be buying the seasons' DVDs. Hopefully they can take this show to another network or something...

plz bring the show back just so we can find out what happened between veronica and logan for god sake he keeps beating up everyone for her we should at least get to see if they end up together again so pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssssseeeeeeeee bring it back for just one more season. thanx

I just started watching VW this year and would like to see more!

I thought the finale was amazing and really brought back the original feel of the show pre-CW. Which really ticked me off, considering they canned it. I'd have slept better if the ending was terrible, but as it turns out VM still has the capacity to be an amazing show even in the stupid short-arc format. Cancelling was a really dumb move... what else do you have, CW? VM might have had low ratings... but this network has few viewers and even fewer shows worth watching. Whose bright idea was it to snub what was arguably their best show?

Please DO NOT cancel Veronica Mars. It is one of the best shows on TV

The last episode rocked... so good......im going to miss Veronica Mars... i loved the show.. it was the only show i never missed an episode... well the new line up for the fall are all crap so im not going to be watching cw anymore....

I loved the two hour finale. I agree that if the show were to be picked up by a regular network it would rock the ratings. The CW is not very good at advertising. I'm really going to miss this show. Thank you Rob Thomas for the 3 years of VM we had.

this is one of the few shows left that isnt part of the awful reality tv thats taking over television... and they are canceling it... i'm so disappointed i loved the show and i'm sad to see if go... i wish the network had given them a chance to do a series finale rather than let it go the way they did...

i really loved the episodes! but they werent finale matierial, they should've had more closure, and i absolutely LOVED veronica and PIZ together!!! very cute! im really sad to see the show go! ='[

I have to say the third season had continually disappointed me until the final three episodes which were absolutely outstanding. The problem is I have a feeling very few people watched the series finale. It is a sad day because I know I will not be able to see another Veronica Mars episode. I don't understand why a major network won't pick up such an outstanding show for it's weekly lineup.

I wish there were more closure in the show, but Rob Thomas did not know this was going to be the end until last week so we really cannot blame him for the series finale. VM was a great show and it really is too bad more people did not give it a chance. As my g/f said last night "If they just put this show on a regular network it would rock the ratings". We will all miss Veronica Mars, but all in all the final three episodes were very good. Thank you for three seasons of great television.
