Smallville: Gossip Roundup Time!
New Smallville ep don't return to The CW until September, but the cast hasn't stayed out of the headlines. It's as busy as ever.
- Aaron Ashmore gives the big screen a try in Palo Alto
- Lana Lang comes in second in the "How Come It's Not YOU That's Dead?" category in TV Gal's Amy Awards
- John Glover hits Broadway once again
- James Marsters stars in the limited release film Shadow Puppets and BBC's Torchwood
- Justin Hartley announces on his Web site that he'll be joining the cast of midseason replacement Eight Days a Week and starring on Smallville...
- And last but not least, get ready for Comic-Con in San Diego next month!
We're particularly excited about Comic-Con, where the show is scheduled to reveal the face of the new Supergirl. Smallville writer-slash-producer Mark Verheiden will also stop by.

There so should be a Green Arrow or Justice League spin- off, if there was I would totally watch them!!(either show would be fine!!:):)!!!)

Please Please Please let there be a Justice League spinoff if Smallville ends after season 7.

I was upset the CW wouldn't give Justin Hartley a Green Arrow spin-off this fall, but it's good to hear he'll be back on Smallville. I hope he has something interesting to do on it!

Bringing back Justin Hartley to Smallville is the smartest thing I have seen under this network since the announcement Supernatural was gonna get a Season 3
