Supernatural Big Bad Bracket: Group One Results, Cast Your Vote for Group Two!
The results are in for the Group One matchups in our Supernatural Big Bad Bracket, and there were a couple of surprises. For one thing, mortals did surprisingly well against their paranormal competitors. Um, you folks do realize that you're supposed to decide who's more dangerous in each matchup, not who you like more? Because we love Jess, too, but we really don't think she'd be able to take out a zombie.
We've got some exciting matchups this week in Group Two: Ava is the only human competitor, so we'll see if she continues the streak established in Group One. Mary's Mysterious Past looks like the strongest competitor, but Goofer Dust could come from behind. We're looking forward to seeing how Andy's Van does against Henry Holmes, and we can't wait to watch The Roadhouse, Hotel Minibars and Prison take on their rivals. Get voting!
Here's how things panned out for Group One:
Dead Daddy Winchester won a decisive victory over Devil's Traps, and The Demon Formerly Known As Meg provided a similar pummeling to Paranormal Preadolescent Girls. We guess since Meg actually was a Paranormal Preadolescent Girl, she was wise to all their tricks.
Andy mind-whammied the Reaper into submission, and lives to fight another aimless, pot-addled day. Fans shredded book learning – we're still cleaning up all the paper. The Colt put up a surprisingly strong showing against Sex With Sam – we know the Colt can kill anything, but Sex with Sam does the same thing, and naked! Jess narrowly defeated the zombies – and again, we're not quite sure how that happened. Oh well, the bracket is built on surprises.
Another surprise: Ash defeated the Trickster. Apparently you think computer smarts, drinking, and lack of pants would best the efforts of a mischievous near-demigod – or perhaps you think the Trickster bowed out because he liked Ash's style. In any case, Ash moves on to the next round.
Finally, after running neck and neck (Hee! See what we did there?) for a while, Hendrickson managed to defeat the Vampires. We'll see how well the humans do in successive rounds.
