Beauty and the Geek: Niels Turns Dating Coach
Kiplinger’s talks to former Beauty and the Geek 3 contestant Niels Hoven (Jennylee's partner) about his new career path: dating coach. It seems his stint on the show inspired Niels to leave engineering behind and start teaching fellow geeks how to talk to women. Go figure.
Niels is a head instructor for PickUp 101, a company that he says “helps guys work on their social skills... we teach [them] how to walk up to a stranger and start a fun, flirty, interesting conversation.” Sounds like what BATG worked on, but hopefully with a little less public humiliation. However, we wonder if they also do the makeover.
Niels says his ultimate goal is “to start my own company that will bring the social skills we're teaching people to the corporate world.”
