Guess who!Over the weekend, Jason C. hit the green carpet at a CW party and snagged awesome interviews with some CW up-and-comers. We can't tell you who just yet, but we can assure you that the first interview (up Wednesday!) is one you'll definitely want to check out. It's with two CW stars that have generated a LOT of heat here over the past few weeks. Hmm... who could that be?

We'll say no more for now. Check back here Wednesday for the first of several exclusive video interviews with CW stars. Until then, post your guesses in the comments!

I do agree on the point that you are calling them "Two CW Stars". Their not stars. They are new and have to earn our respect as Jared & Jensen have over 2 seasons. I do like the poise and personality of Lauren though and I can see her lasting. I would be cool with her eventually perhaps turning into Dean's love interest as she, visually, is how I pictured a woman for him.

Katie needs to work on her PR skills I think. I didn't get a semblance of humility from her. No comments of how excited she is to be working on the show & with the two leads. It was all about her and "kicking-ass". Not what I wanted to hear.

For some, Kripke's interview has cleared up their concerns, for others it appears not.

One of the reason's I stayed with this program is because it didn't have the unrealistically-tough-thin-woman overdone cliché. What can I say? I'm bored with these types of female characters and am not/shouldn't be "embarrassed" to voice that. These new characters, Ruby and Bela, are (supposedly) human and hopefully Kripke depicts them as such - the way he does with Sam and Dean.

So far, I have not said I won't give this a chance nor written this program off. I wouldn't be so close-minded as to make that decision without sampling the product. Truthfully, I have no idea if I'm going to like S3. If I do, I'll keep watching, if not then I won't. Same goes for any other program.

Like I said before, I immediately disliked the direction of the Jo character, but obviously didn't stop watching - even after No Exit aired. Yes, I put my trust in Kripke and the rest of S2 was fantastic.

People are entitled to opposing opinions/views as not everyone sees things in the same light. Especially when reading peoples comments on blogs. Two people can read the same post but perceive the tone of the comment differently.

I can't wait to hear from supernatural's new girls. From what Kripke says, they're not being brought on as love interests, and that pretty much wraps up any worries I had about them. I trust the writers - they listen to us, they can tell when something isn't working, and they fix it. It'll be fine.

I read that Lauren and Kate are taking kickboxing classes together. We'll have hunter-shaped women! With real muscles! I'm so excited!

I'm getting very tired of how hateful the female fandom of this program is, with all due apologies to the posters who aren't being hateful.

This is plain, flat out embarrassing. Jensen and Jared aren't your boyfriends. You don't have to protect their screentime. Kripke isn't out to take it from them. The way these new characters are going to be introduced isn't going to overwhelm the show. Of course you didn't listen to what Kripke had to say, because you don't want to listen. You've made up your minds and you won't give it a chance. The terrific spoilers for the first two episodes haven't mollified you. You won't even think about or discuss their content. They're not about Ruby and Bela. They're about Sam and Dean, but if one of the evil girls is in a scene you don't care. All you think (and scream) about is the ONE scene Ruby appears in. Bela won't even appear until episode three. That's really hogging the screen, huh? The crux of the season isn't to present "girl power." It's not Kripke's intention to show up Sam and Dean. Breathe. Calm down.

Think. Read your posts and consider how you're coming across. It's embarrassing. As a woman, I'm deeply embarrassed about how the female fans are coming across. The boys are making fun of us, and I can't say I wouldn't be doing the same if I were them. These hysterics are so far beyond simply concern about the show's subject matter. There are so many more important things to worry about.

Nothing against Lauren or Katie, but I'm tired of "Girl power". Tired of seeing skinny girls be "tougher/more powerful" than men onscreen. These types of characters are over for me. For the record, I'm a 31 yr old white 5'1" female. Through out my 20's all I saw were these types of female characters: Buffy, Alias, Dark Angel, Charmed...etc..add movie characters if you wish. No offense to Ms Gellar or Ms Alba, but they were so thin it just wasn't believable to me regardless of their characters being "superhuman".

I was done with the Jo character the moment she punched Dean. He was wincing and cowering and completely emasculated. Good job.

Now we have two women to emasculate these guys even though Sam and Dean could easily defeat them physically.

It's sad. Sorry but, I'm just not with Kripke on this.

also, if i want to see romance/sex i'd be watching Greys Anatomy not Supernatural.

I love action, suspense and thrills thats why I began watching this program.

Me: you make some excellent points. Hopefully Kripke comes across your statement and weaves these characters through less episodes.

I hope he scraps the possible-love-interests-if-theres-chemistry bit. The only way to weave a "love interest" into this program for Sam or Dean is to have the female NOT be involved in their Supernatural hunts - she would have to be normal like Sarah from the Provenance episode. This way the love interest wouldn't be travelling with the guys on the road and wouldn't interfere with the Rt66 buddies on the road senario of the program.

Kripke was talking out of his ass. It was all spin. He basically said that he understands the fans concerns but they're going to take it slow and do it anyway.

They didn't have it forced upon them but it was suggested to him by Dawn, the person holding his show's livelihood in her hands, to make it two regulars instead of the one he already had planned. They don't have plans to make them love interests.......until they see who clicks with whom.

He's comparing these girls to a Skinner from the X-Files? Yeah, right. He's comparing adding new characters to this show like adding characters to Buffy? Buffy was an ensemble show. There's a difference there, Kripke. Adding not one but two regular characters to not only a buddy show but a roadtrip show is just not so easy without seriously messing with the dynamic that a lot of us really happen to enjoy. You can only run into the same two characters so many times before it becomes artificial, unless these two eventually end up becoming part of the "team".

Suddenly they're going to need to deal with this mercenary relic hunter all of the time?

One of the things about Sam and Dean that I love is their organic way of making do with what they have. They don't have a lot of relics and artifacts. They use salt and shotguns. They use gasoline. They use herbs and incantations. They (John. And Bobby, I assume)) made their own holy water. Bobby has old books and things and, yes, he did give them those anti-possession charms and Dean does wear his pendant, whatever the hell it is for, but they basically use their wits and what's at their disposal. I know with more demons out there, it would make sense that they might need specific things to fight specific demons but I really don't want this to turn into them suddenly needing some magical mystical artifact and needing to deal with Bela the mercenary all of the time. That would be interesting once or twice but to make it a regular occurence is just too ridiculous and would be yet one more thing taking away from the on the road, backwood Americana, blue collar feel of this show.

Kripke is always talking about "Star Wars in middle America" but he also said it was "Route 66 meets X-Files". Now he's talking about creating this supernatural universe like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. I think I prefer the "Route 66 meets X-Files" comparison better and I wish they'd stick closer to that than the Star Wars.

Some people may like the idea of going more into a hunter or supernatural universe but I'm thinking it's a big mistake to take this show and make it more Star Wars than middle America. I don't want to see too many more hunters. I don't want to start to feel that the Winchester boys are just two of many.

I'm liking the balance they have now and really don't want them to delve too deeply into that. 200 demons might make it hard not to go a little deeper but I really want them to stay more centered in the middle america realm, and how the demons are affecting that world, instead of pulling everything down into the supernatural realm.

I just don't want it to change into GrrrlPwr!!! and diluting the Winchester story. I am invested in them, not two hot chick troublemakers. Keep them at a minimum and I'm good. I don't care about who they are or why they do what they do. I care about Sam and Dean and if these two play into that in some small way, fine, but don't give them their own story separate of that and don't make them the typical annoying female antagonists that kick their asses and make the boys look like fools too often. The Winchesters are the heroes of this story. Who wants to see some outsider always one-upping the heroes? Not me.

So I beg of Kripke, don't go nutso with proving to us how dangerous and violent these girls are.

Well let's see. Since Miss Katie dissed the SN fans at that event, I wonder how long it's going to be before she's chewed up and spit out of the show.

Yes, thanks so much and please stop telling everyone to calm down and trust Kripke, didn't you hear what happened to Veronica Mars? I read his interview and I'm still amazed he could even think of adding one regular hottie let alone two, and the second on network orders no less!
Cassidy is only 20 and looks exactly like a Barbie doll, Cohan would perhaps be fine for the odd re-curring role but that's it. Adding two characters for sexy up the show with back-stories means they want two leads to be four leads. Rubella is going to ruin my wonderful show, if I wanted to watch Buffy I'd rent the DVDs.

Oh, man...
I don´t believe I´m reading this again...
Even after the Eric Kripke interview on TV Guide you guys are still doing this?
C´mon... Kripke already said that he cares about us. He knows what he is doing. At last wait to see what happens...
Supernatural is a great show, let´s support it!

I missed Jensen and Jared at the event too, by the way. I think they were working and couldn´t come.

But YAY! I hope it´s Lauren and Katie. I want to know the girls and their characters better!

Hey, before you guys start complaining again, head over to Ausiello's blog on TVGuide.com. kripke explains about Rubella. he gives straight answers, and it's made me feel a heck of a lot better about things. I trust Kripke over anyone else in this fandom, so check it out before you judge. I was reserving judgement on these two anyway, but now I'm waiting patiently... instead of wating patiently to tear them apart :)

It's absolutley the new girls of Supernatural. It's either that or Laura Vandervoort and Micheal Cassidy. Those are the only two new comer groups coming to the new CW.

Supernatural Barbies 1 & 2 Ruby and Bella. Why is it everytime I hear Bella, I think Harry Potter, and no this isn't left over HP scraps.

Gee...you must mean Rubella - Brit Barbie and Skipper! YaY...and can you see the sarcasm dripping off of that?!

Oh, now isn't that something to look forward to. How about an interview with the real STARS of Supernatural? Jensen and Jared. Are these two actors all we're going to see as far as promotion for the new season? Cuz, I haven't heard much about or from the two that make this show what it is.

The tone I see being set is touting Girl!Power and that's just not something I want to see. I watched Buffy. Now I'm watching Supernatural. A show about two guys. Let's leave it at that. I don't have a thing against Katie and Lauren but I'm really not interested in their characters at all if they're meant to be regular characters. That's just going to ruin this cool show.

'Two CW stars'. WTH? Of course you mean the two new eye-candy girls for Supernatural.
STARS??? That remains to be seen. The only stars in that show - who have been working their socks off to get great acting reviews and loyalty from the fans - are Jensen and Jared.
