It's Official: Top Model Moves to NYC, Is Renewed Through 2010
CW prez Dawn Ostroff confirmed that Top Model is moving to NYC, and announced that the powerhouse -- the CW's biggest hit -- has been renewed through the 2009-2010 season. That means at least six more cycles of Top Model coming our way (and if ratings stay this good, we wouldn't put another renewal past them).
A few months ago, we speculated about the move to NYC, and most of you were pretty positive about it. So now that it's official, what do you say? Will having NYC as a backdrop bring out the best Top Model has to offer -- or will it make a difference at all? Anyone out there going to miss LA? And what do you think about the renewal? Think the show can keep it fresh through Cycle 14 -- and beyond?

hey tyra i love your show but never thought a girl from a little town in jersey could be on this show and maybe even win until i saw a girl that made it on the show and she was from a town over from mine. im so excited and i want this so bad the only problem is i dont no when the casting call is so if u could send me an email with some information that would be great thanks : )x0x0

i am absolutely inspired by the way you talk to the girls on the show you tell them the truth about how much it is not an easy industry. i am 5"9 and i turn 18 in 2 months and i really want to be a part of americs's next top model or at lest be part of a modeling agency even if it is as a janitor.because modeling is my dream.

oh my goodness...im fifteen going n sixteen in december of this year and i've been watching your show ever since cycle # 1. i'll be a junior next year and i would like it if you tyra, or who ever....ms. j...mr. j, would send me some info on cycle 10 or 11 for casting calls!!! pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! Hey Tyra, It dont matter where you go, if I have electricity, we will be watching...lol. I am 47yrs old and been in this industry all my life, it bring me and my daughter closer and we cut the phone off and no interruptions to watch the show, this season is special to us for a good reason. luv ya and keep'em comin

Hey Tyra! I am looking forward to the new season of ANTM. It's one of my daughters (3yrs) any mine (24yrs) personal favorites. Also i went to the auditions at Rookies in Cromwell, when should we expect to hear about it if we are picked. I'm anxiously awaiting. hey tyra (if it's really you) ^.^ i was inspired by you to become a model with confidence. Even though i had this dream before but i am not as confident as i am now. I was rejected by an agency but i will not give up, not with the support of my friends and family members. I am still young(15) and i believe there are many chances out there.

As soon as i turn 18 im gonna strut my stuff on a run way and show the world that this latina is soon to be America's Next Top Model. <3.

I have been watching antm since the first cycle I always wanted to become a Model since the day I can remember. Wactching this show always give me inspiration to keep stiving for my dreams as some day becoming a Model. Antm was here for a casting call the weekend I had a Family Reunion in Nashville Tenn. so I figure I missed my chance I'm currently 27 y/o and 5 6 I know I don't match the height requirements but I'm good enough and know how to walk in high heels know one would noticed. So please give me information on how I could still apply to become ANTM!!!!!!

Of course ANTM is the CW's "powerhouse" and "biggest hit" b/c it reality tv and it doesn't have to deal with tough competition. Stick it against CSI/GA(Thursday) or AI or House(Tuesday) at 9 pm and see how well it does.
