We always find it kind of funny that the Geeks tend to get just about all the press coverage after the show. But finally, we’ve gotten an update on what a Beauty is up to post-show. Erin Gipson, who we remember most for her eighties-video-vixen impersonation on the boat last season, will be performing a series of jazz shows in Chicago and will later be releasing a CD of standards.

The program follows the stages of romance, using familiar jazz classics to tell the story.

"It starts really happy, when you just meet someone, and then maybe you break up or hit a rough spot," Gipson told the Pioneer Press. "And then you recover and you move on. Sometimes you have to kiss a lot of toads until you meet your prince. People are going to interpret it in their own way, if she ends up with the same person or if she met someone new."

Hmm. We wonder if her time on Beauty and the Geek inspired the toads comment...

Erin says that she has mixed feelings about the show. While she’s still in touch with her partner, Drew, and several other people from the show, the experience itself left her ambivalent.

"It was a weird, weird experience and it took a lot of recovery time," she said. "It was very strange to see yourself intelligent and have everyone look at you funny."
