K-Fed to Guest on One Tree Hill!
What's this? TMZ is reporting that Kevin Federline's signed on to guest on One Tree Hill! WHAT!?!
We haven't seen this news elsewhere yet, so we'll wait and see if we see more confirmations. Until then, let the speculation about his role on the show begin!
Could he be a love interest for one of the OTH ladies (gasp!)? A new friend of Lucas's? A record exec co-worker of Peyton's? Or a wily cohort of Dan's from the criminal underbelly of Tree Hill?
Go ahead -- post your K-Fed/OTH speculations here. And while you're at it, tell us if you think this alleged casting choice is a good move for OTH. We want to hear what you think!
UPDATE: The CW's press release says K-Fed will star as "Jason, the cocky, enigmatic frontman for “No Means Yes,” a seminal rock band from the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. Federline will appear in a multi-episode arc of the show, which returns midseason on The CW."
Cocky and enigmatic!? Well, he's got the first part covered...

I'm a true oth fan can't wait until it comes back. I'm not a K-fed fan at all and I agree it's a little disturbing but, what are you gonna do?
Posted by: Tracy Harper | September 20, 2007 12:35 PM
I don't mind that k-fed is going to be on the show, it'll be good no matter what and k-fed doesnt seem like hes that horrible of an actor, his rapping skills on the other hand....

Not a fan of K-Fed but LOVE OTH!!! So even though I dont like him I guess I will have to tolerate him on the show, cause I have to have my Tree Hill fix every week!!!

I'm still gonna watch OTH no matter who they bring on but I WILL NEVER RESPECT K-FED as an artist no matter how many cast members are behind him

well im a "die hard fan" i love the show no matter what im in it till the end which i hope, is not for a while i hope k-fed makes it work lol
Posted by: Taylor | September 3, 2007 8:38 PM
Kianny,
guest actors can affect a program's rating postitively or negatively. Some viewers who like OTH but who are not the "die hard" fans and not fans of or are sick of K-Fed tabloidism may not tune in. OTH's rating were beginning to suffer last season and the season average was under 3mil. If GG becomes a success, this may be the last season of OTH. It would be in the best interest of the show to hire guest actors that have an appeal which will draw in a larger audience. There's nothing wrong with having a realistic outlook.

Is everyone on this site kidding me???....if you really like this show y wuld u say the ratings are going 2 go down...if u like the show who cares if k-fed is going 2 be on OTH....if u saw CSI he's actually a good actor. Get over yourselves n just support the show if k-fed is on it or not.

He'll probably be a prisoner in jail that'll mess with Dan... I think he'll fit that job - after all look what hes done to Britney! lol
Posted by: Stephanie | August 25, 2007 11:16 PM
Going from his hiphop flava to a little bit of rock n' roll.. Hmm, interesting. (Not really) In jail with Dan though, that would've been awesome..

Princess: CSI is a well established high rated show on a top network. Anyone could have a guest spot on it and the show won't tank.
OTH will be struggling this year especially since it won't be back til midseason. Then you factor in that OTH is on the CW, which is a struggling netlet. Anything that could turn viewers heads is a bad idea and may spell doom for a sixth season.
(Regardless of how talented a guest actor or actress is - the general likability of person sometimes carries more weight)
Also considering he will appear in multiple episodes, if ratings sink, the CW may decrease the total number of episodes ordered for S5.

This is horrible. Casting K-Fed was a horrible idea. There is only room for one cocky musician...Chris Keller!!! This is bad. He is going to be the worst character.

Did anyone see him on his guest role on CSI?? I bet not cause if you did then you would know that not only did it NOT mean the end of CSI, but as much as I don't like the guy he did a GREAT job on that show. I say give him a chance. Geez!!
Posted by: Princess | August 21, 2007 5:55 PM
I saw K- Fed on CSI las vegas, he played a killer. He did a good job acting. I think he can play the part of a rockstar who is cocky and enigmatic. Hopefully Lucas or Nathan will punch him out. In CSI he got punched out! I am all for it!

OMG-->this is very bad news...

Battling papa Kevin Federline has landed a job. The once aspiring rapper has snagged a role on The CW’s ‘One Tree Hill.’
According to The CW, Kevin will portray:
“Jason, the cocky, enigmatic frontman for “No Means Yes,” a seminal rock band from the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina.”

ok this is so wrong he should not be on it he is going to ruin the whole show he should just live his own life with his f**ken kids he has with britney spears. if k-fed is in this show no one is going to watch it i mean no one and that means the rating's on one tree hill will go down and then that is it for one tree hill we want it around for ever i love this show and i will do anything to save it from k-fed he doesn't deserve to be on it they have an amazing cast now why ruin it by putting him on it
Posted by: Ashley | August 21, 2007 12:53 PM
I think this could spell the end of OTH! K-Fed sux! Maybe he'll play the jak a$$
Posted by: JJ | August 21, 2007 11:13 AM
According to the Chicago Tribune, Federline will be portraying a rock singer...uh...rock singer?
Please say he can act. We know his music talent isn't much. (Chicagoans know how he had to give away tickets to his performace at the House of Blues because the tickets wouldn't sell.)
The Tribune also reported that his appearance on OTH will be a multiepisode arc.
(Cringe)

If he tries to act, that will indeed be painful to watch.
Which is why I fully intend to protest against this episode, by NOT watching it when it airs.
Anyone with me? Fight the power.

THNIK IT IS GOOD

Downgrade for OTH.
What a turn off.
What a publicity stunt!!!
Disgusting.

Posted by: samantha | August 20, 2007 8:01 PM
Eew...
Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 7:40 PM
This might be just the boost the show needs... NOT.
Posted by: Pillow Pants | August 20, 2007 6:14 PM
NO! why would oth do that. They have an amazing cast and I just dont want somebody on the show who is always in the headlines. Pick a struggling actor not someone who could hurt the rating
Posted by: katie | August 20, 2007 5:18 PM
Oh, wow. Just... wow. I don't know if I'm horrified or excited. It could be really good if he had a bad-guy role and hammed it up.
But if he really tries to, you know, ACT? I think that might be painful.
Posted by: espresso bean | August 20, 2007 3:58 PM
OMG is right!!! K-Fed?? On OTH??? I can't believe it!!
Can't wait to see if this is confirmed or not... but I wouldn't be too surprised if it's true... the guy is in need of a job, especially if he's fighting for full custody of his little ones! Keep us posted.
Posted by: chitownchica12 | August 20, 2007 3:51 PM
Are you KIDDING ME? K-Fed on OTH? Wow, that's disturbing.
I'm guessing he'll come on as a parenting coach for Nathan and Haley.
