im sorry but a lot of those white girls that are on top model are pasty and not pretty at all. no one can tell me with a straight face that they honestly thought nicole or lisa or some of the other snowflakes were pretty. get over it.

I don't think the show is racist either, and to use a statistic is the wrong way to go about proving it. For example it would be like calling the NBA, the NFL, or to flip the switch NASCAR racist organizations because the individuals who have been the most successful recently have been predominantly of a particular ethnicity. Different ethnicities and looks are the trend in today's US markets, just as curvier body types are having there day in the sun as well [which also lends to more african american models being chosen do to health issues in our community]. European fashion is no more or less unbiased that of the Americas or Asia [especially considering the race relations issues in France of not to long ago.] : )

no, ANTM isnt racist some of you guys are. saying there should only be 2 blacks on the show and the rest white cuz the us is 15% black is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. you must be in middle school right cuz no real educated person would say that. or your great grandparents owned plantations and your parents were racist and opposed civil rights movement in the 60's. The black girls are just as pretty and sometimes prettier than some of the white contestants. Is it that hard to deal with successful black women? Hate to break it to you, but it is possible, just cuz white girls have lost some seasons doesnt mean the show is racist, it just means the blacks modeled better.

i think tyra is unfair to both races, i think some people like you would see it that way because you hate to see anything featuring mostly black people being successful, but it not reality so fucking deal with it, you prejudice jack asses

ps in the european high fashion mags there are not racial lines drawn to accomodate the unworthy. the best girl gets the job and 99% of the time they are whites an 1% asian.
there is not thrust to push those unworthy down the throats to stelve off racist accusations. the best girl gets the job and thats the way it should be. not racial quotas to meet and no sliding scale for those who cannot speak well or at with pride. they are thrown away! i think its the best way, fair for all.

as a white person i feel the show is racist against whites.... the show clearly shows favoritism towards its less accomplish black and biracial candidates. it never fails the white girls focus changes from her personality it wrong to her poses and then her facial expressions. when the black girl gains to much weight shes kept, when the black girl cannot speak she is kept, when the black girl has a prideful attitude and sense of entitlement (for no know reason) she is kept, when the black girl clearly is less attractive she is kept. all to the keep the racial basis in place and of course a woman of color will win everytime. when the usa is 15% black there should only be 2 black candidates on the show yet the show has half blacks.... next i dont like how tyra talks down to the white girls and talks up the loser black girls. its so biased i cannot stand to watch it anymore. she points out all the mistake of the white and over looks the mistakds and praise the blacks. its ridiculous. cancel the racist show now.

The WB's strategy of premiering most of its lineup the week before the big networks started their fall lineups worked well - and grabbed some big ratings for both premiere week and the following months - in 2002, 2003 and 2004. Not really sure why the CW didn't try that this season for the majority of its shows. If fans can see CW premieres against little other competition, chances are more people will come back in the following weeks and months -- or permanently!

But they still won't premiere Super early? What a waste!
