The Teen Choice Awards Are Coming Up... And We're Going!
As you've probably heard, The Teen Choice Awards are coming up on Sunday, August 26. But what you haven't heard until today is that we're going to be there!
Yes, Jason C. and The CW Source crew will be on the red carpet before the event and interviewing some of the winners. We'll check out Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne's performances, and hopefully, we'll rub shoulders with some of our favorite stars, including ... Jared Padalecki, who's scheduled to present an award! Squee! But will Jensen be there to support his co-star in the audience? And which other CW stars might make an appearance?
The CW's contenders include the following:
- Dramatic Actor: Jared Padalecki of Supernatural
- Choice TV Sidekick: Allison Mack of Smallville
- Choice Villian: Michael Rosenbaum of Smallville
- Reality/Variety Show: America's Next Top Model
- Choice TV Personality: Tyra Banks of America's Next Top Model
Here's a full list of the nominees.
As for the non-CW contingency? Well, we know this much. Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon will be co-hosting. Other stars who are scheduled to appear include Jessica Alba, America Ferrera, Megan Fox, Emmy Rossum, Lauren Conrad, Miley Cyrus, Anna Paquin, Eve, Dane Cook, Taylor Kitsch, Ryan Reynolds, Zac Efron, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rob & Big, and musicians Bow Wow, Ashlee Simpson, The Jonas Brothers, Omarion and Sum 41. But that's just for starters -- we're hearing that new celebs are still yet to be announced. And lots of others will surely be in the audience.
We're expecting red carpet chaos, but we're going to do our best to talk to as many stars as possible! Anyone in particular (besides Jared; that one's a given!) you want us to try and chat up? Any special questions you want asked? Post them here, and we'll do our best to deliver the goods.

I have a bet going.... can anyone tell me who the guy was that I saw that made coments from the red carpet that had a blond beard and long blond hair and he was with anothers guy with blond hair

Jensen, Allison, and Michael are not confirmed to be there, unfortunately. The only CW star we know for sure will appear is Jared Padalecki. But you never know who might make a last-minute appearance! We'll keep you posted. Can't believe the awards are in just two days!

Can you see if Allison and Rosenbaum are going? If they aren't planning on going, can you bug the CW to send them? I want pics of them on the red carpet.
It was disappointing that Allison won last year and didn't go even though bunch of CW people who weren't even nominated went.
The CW needs to promote Allison more.
She just won another popularity contest.

OMG!! I love the Jonas Brothers and hope they perform one of there amazing songs.. If not, it will be a pleasure to see them on the Teen Choice Awards presenting!!!!
