Beauty and the Geek: Teases for the New Season
By now you know that BATG is finally including a geeky girl and a hot guy in the mix. We've got profiles and pictures of all the competitors – but they blur out our nontraditional pair's faces. Curses!
Zap2It gives us a couple of hints of what we can expect: " Among the challenges the geeks will have to meet are performing an autobiographical rap and competing for the title of Prom King. The beauties will be taxed by participating in a debate and substitute teaching a third-grade class."
Autobiographical rap? Teaching third grade? Wow. We can't wait.
Plus, Reality Wanted interviewed host Mike Richards, who spills some more info about the upcoming season and the brainy girl/hot guy pair.
"The biggest twist this season will be our male beauty and female geek team. We were unsure how this twist would go. We were uncertain if it would be good or bad for the show and if it would throw the show dynamics off. We were pleasantly surprised; the cast loved him, and he got along great with everyone."
Hmmm. Loved him? What about her? Is this some sort of typo, or is Mike telling us geek girl doesn't fare too well?
Plus, Mike says that this season asks more of the teams: "The challenges are bigger and we push the teams to evolve greater this season. To win this season you will have to not only change yourself, but really help and change others."

HELLO I FEEL THAT BY THROWING IN THE GUY BEAUTY YOU PUT A WRENCH IN THE WORKS COME ON 5 OUT OF 8 CHALLENGES. NOW I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MAYBE ALL GUY BEAUTIES AND ALL WOMEN GEEKES. I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE A LITTLE MORE EVEN. I FELT THAT THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE SEASON THAT THE BEAUTY GIRLS FELT IMTIMIDATED A LITTLE IN ALL THE CHALLENGES
WELL THERE IS MY TWO CENTS WORHT HAVE ENJOYED THE SHOW EVERY SEASON LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEW ONE STARTING
