A nice interview. I think the boy is a very good actor and I enjoy watching him bring Dean to life. I hope the show soon returns to its original dynamic drama of two brothers on the back roads of Americana in their Impala, doing their jobs, complete with the great classic rock and the urban legends, without the Hermione Granger/007 wannabe mixup of a character like Bela. (No disrespect intended to the actress).

Hmm. I thought season two left off in a really good place, with Dean saying "we have work to do". I was very excited at seeing our determined Dean who really believes in the job he's doing and was eager to see him driven to put as many demons and supernatural things away before he dies. Now, it' sounding like he's going to be distracted and wanting to have fun, with Sam having to remind him about the work they have to do. Not that I begrudge Dean having some fun but I really hope they don't overdo it. I want them to show us the Dean I fell in love with. Which is the Dean that believes in hunting things and saving people.

Again, I don't begrudge him wanting to have some fun and live life to the fullest but I don't want it to take away from things too much. I hope they leave that to their off hours where they are hanging out in an appropriate setting, like a bar or a diner or something when they're still piecing things together and not full on into a job yet. And, I hope they don't have him allow that to interfere with how he does a job. He's always been a little flirty but he's always managed to focus on the job at hand and remember why they're there and to get the information they need, so I hope they keep it that way and don't go overboard and have him being led around by his dick anytime a woman is around to the point where he's slacking off on the job.

I'm more than a little worried about this season, with the "apocalypse" talk in that little promo we got during this past episode. I was drawn to the small scale intimate feel of two brothers fighting evil. I am really quite bored with the big scale apocalyptic type of thing. Saw enough of that with Buffy and Angel.

I really feel that they're moving away from all of the things that drew me to the show in the first place. More hunters. More demons. More, more, more. I don't want *more*. I want my little two lone hunters, with a little help from the likes of Bobby or Ellen or maybe crossing paths with one or two hunters along the way, but no one that we'd see again and again and again.

Season 3 looked so promising and now it looks like they're going in every direction *I* didn't want it to go:(

Anyway, forgive my rambling. I just like this show and would hate to see it change too much. So my fingers are crossed that it keeps that core feel enough to where I don't feel like I'm watching an entirely different show.

Great interview, Jason. It gets kind of tiring hearing the same questions and answers, so kudos for giving us a chance to hear something new! Jensen talking about that scene with daddy Win possessed by the YED was a nice change from the stuff I keep seeing and reading of late.

Way to Go Jason for bringing us an interview with this fabulous actor. Thanks for giving us part 1 (cant wait for part 2).

Its great that you obviously gave Jensen space to relax (he even made eye contact, thats a result). The man is a fantastic actor and I hope that he soon gets the recongnition he so deserves.

P.S. Of all the Stars you have interviewed, I would love to hear your take on each of them. I got the sense that you really responded with Jared and very much with Jensen.

BTW I have to agree with everyone else, Jason did a real good job - asking great questions that fans want to know the answer to, without getting all up in the star's face.

I love hearing interviews with Jensen, he's so thoughtful and articulate about his work and I too want to congratulate Jason on his interviewing technique, it's nice to actually get to hear what the actors think.
