Smallville Countdown -- And Spoilers
We're just a couple of weeks away from the return of Smallville, and we can't wait. Seriously, we can't wait – it's driving us crazy. To pass the time, we've been creating new features and yes, we must confess, indulging in spoilers. What can we say? We're weak.
We'll keep the spoilers after the jump, for those of you who want to remain pure. But here's something everyone can enjoy – to help eat up the weeks before the return of Clark and the gang, we'll be posting a Smallville Super Bracket in the next couple of days, We're just teasing out a few details – soon you'll be able to vote on what you think are the most powerful characters, concepts and plot points of the season. Why should Supernatural fans have all the fun?
And now, on to the spoilers. Don't click if you don't want to know!
By now, just about everyone knows that Supergirl will be making her scantily-clad debut, that Lex will be in danger, and that Lana will be pronounced dead – which is not the same thing as saying Kirsten Kreuk will be gone from the show. So we rolled our eyes when TV Guide's Michael Ausiello hinted around those bits as if they were massive surprises that he'd pried from the Smallville vaults at great personal risk to himself. Dude, pictures of Kara have been all over the net, Lex is always in danger, and the Lana scoop goes back weeks, maybe months. Tell us something we don't know.
And then, lo and behold, he actually did. A couple of tidbits were actually worthy of the title spoilers, and we're looking forward to seeing them on-screen.
First up, Ausiello says Jimmy Olsen decks Clark.—most likely for putting his girl in danger and leaving her at least mostly dead (which, we hasten to add, is somewhat alive). No word on whether Jimmy's hand crumbles to powder on contact with Clark's super-jaw, although that's what we'd expect.
Second, the scoopster says Bizarro Clark will grab Lois – and she'll kind of like the attention. Sigh. Is it just us, or does it seem like the writers enjoy inciting wars between the followers of each of Smallville's key females? "I've got an idea – let's put Lois and Clark together… but not really! The message boards will go NUTS!" Thanks guys. Thanks a lot.
Anyway, between this and the potential love interest provided by yummy Michael Cassidy, it seems like Lois fans will have to wait still longer to see their girl and the man who would be Super together.
So what do you think? Are you looking forward to Jimmy punching Clark, or do you think it's blasphemy? Do you despair or delight at the delays of Lois and Clark getting together? Or do you kind of prefer Bad-Boy Clark to Boy-Scout Clark anyway? Share your thoughts in the comments.

I think the show is going well but i think that pete should come back for awhile and then die but i think they should make an episode were this meteor freak comes in town with all clarks powers because he got them in the meteor shower becauce he was close to clark when the meteors hit and got all his powers.

I was honestly a Lana and Clark fan, even though I read the comics and knew that Lois and Clark were meant to be...but come on? Can't they find a new love interest other than Lana? I mean not just some hookup one night, give the Clark character some new roads to venture onto and not just the same old trianlge. It seems a little disconcerting that Lois is the one getting around the dating scene, and Clark is nowhere to be found. Still, that just my own opinion.

I Love smallville me and my boyfriend love to watch it, We have every season I can't wait until this season starts, as for everyone you has made a rude comment about the cast I like everyone in the cast I think the play there parts very good. I really don't think they need to change anything i like the show the way it is and thats why I watch it and if you all hate the characters and the story line then don't watch it find something else to diss....

Not much of a spoiler we need more i just can't wait i need to know more about the next episode. and more justice league and clark need a mask or a hoody or the suerman suit if you guys make another justice league episode.

WHERE'S PETE?????? I really think they should finally get something going between Lois and Clark! I mean sure Crimson was fun, but that wasn't the real Clark we all love! As far as I'm concerned, I'm with Lois, I LOVE THE BAD BOY CLARK! Back to task at hand, I think Clark should start, you know, being interested in Lois, and FINALLY get over LANA. He said it himself, "I DONT LOVE YOU" not that I'm calling him a hipocrite, but he needs to stick to his word. This may sound bad, but Im kinda glad Lana died,(if she did, which I dont think she did) Then Clark can venture to seek out his destiny!! STILL WHERE'S PETE???? (

I agree...keep Lana with Clark and let Lois stick with Green Arrow or Aqua Man...she seemed to like him a lot too!! Jimmy is whimpy and doesn't matter if he hits Clark or not. lol! And if there is no Lana...then I'm all for Chloe and Clark...I mean man, she's been Clark's best friend from the beginning!!

as far as i am concern this show is about lana and clark so why not leaving them together. i started watching the show because of then and i'll be very dissapointed if they dint end together. and just let me say i like lois but i would't like seeing her with clark. i think her and the other guy she was before with make a cute couple.

I'm not really looking forward to season 7. They need to get rid of Chloe's power, get her back on her future of becoming the DP outstanding reporter. Lois should stop being so damn annoying. Clark should open his eyes, & see that his life is will be far better without Lana in it. Lex bring on ur pathetic bad self. I would be very wonderful if Chloe & Clark find the way to each other, but this may never happen. As for lana, it would be nice if she stay, but as a friend of Chloe & clark. By the way where'e PETE?

I just hope Lana is still alive. Smallville is the best show I've ever seen and I hope this season brings even more excitement. I am also wondering on how exactly Clark beats bizzaro Clark.

i personally think that the new season of smallville sounds great.For those of you who keep putting down smallville,just stop watching the show if you hate so much!It's not like someone is forcing you! i don't think any of us really know how hard it is to be the writers of smallville.i mean they always have to deal with people's critisism and they work really hard to make this a great show.i'm not trying to make those of you who put sv down feel bad or anything,i'm just saying don't watch it if you don't like it!

I agree that viewers from Season 1 who have been waiting for Lana and Clark to have a real... non complicated realtionship. everytime they get a chance, a new character enters, a new problem arrives, etc... If they are going to bring on any new charachters why could'nt they keep Hottie Tottie Green Arrow with Lois Lane... I loved that relationship (both fun and spunky)

I HATE LOIS SO MUCH! she is such a bitch and so annoying its insane. i really hope that the producers and writers decide to actually do something different this time around and make clark and lois NOT end up together. i want clark with lana so much!
And i think that from jimmys point of view, he has every right to punch clark. but if he actually knew about clarks powers, then he shuldnt, and most likely wouldnt.

I'm MEH, on the spoilers for season 7. They are either about SuperBrat or Lana and I'm not too keen on either of them. Karaville is something I can do without. I really want to know what will be going on with Clark, besides babysitting Kara, Lex besides looking into Kara, and Chloe besides having to worry about Kara and Jimmy. BLEH.
Nothing is getting my pumped for this season.

Jimmy shouldn't be punching Clark since Chloe was there to save Lois. So he really should be punching Lois. I can't believe that people who have been watching the show since day one would be waiting all of these years for Clark to hook up with Lois especially since Lois didn't even appear in Smallville until season 4. In Smallville, Clark belongs with Lana. Lois fans can watch the Superman films and/or Lois & Clark reruns or DVDs. I am a huge Clark & Lana fan and have felt cheated cuz Clark and Lana have never really been together; they were only briefly so in season 5.

I'm not so keen on the S7 spoilers for SV, but I am looking forward to Tom Welling being back on my screen. He's the reason for the season as far as I'm concerned.
I'm looking forward to seeing Lex, Chloe, Lois and Lionel as well. SV has a wonderful cast, regardless of the storyline.
Jimmy is a ridiculous tool. I'm hoping his hand falls off his fool body. Twit!
