i think lois and clark are better together because she really gets on my nerves.she acts like every man would like to be with her when they just want to play her.

i must say that i missed the opener and was very dissapointed... but at the end of the 6th season i like the way that they were going with the show... you can't keep a series going with only one super hero... i think that the justice league thing they are leaning to is awesome... i just can't wait to see who plays wonder woman... wow... o and btw i still think erica durrance is by far the hottest on the show... who doesn't like a chick who can handle herself...

Best parts: Clark saving the boy and his dad, Clark hearing Chloe's screams, Clark and Martian Manhunter

OK parts: supergirl looking like an angel, Lois's abrasiveness, Bizarro's deep voice

Funny parts: Clark still can't fly, Lana's wig

Bad parts: Chloe's uneventful coming back to life, Bizarro killing the attorney

Overall: great opening; much more exciting than season 6

Wow what a great show, I really miss Allison and Tom. There are so cute in the show. Slightly disppointed with the morgue scene, was hoping more, but overall both Tom and Allison did a great job.

When did Clark Kent become an immoral superhero? He ended up kissing Lana when she was married? Isn't that adultery? Something is very wrong in Smallville.

i am so glad lana is alive! i was freaking out when i saw her! even with the wig on, i could still tell it was her. lana is so pretty and i hope that sometime this season clark realizes she is still alive. they are the best couple ever. i am still waiting for lex to FINALLY die. i just can't get over the fact that lana is alive! i was like holy crap! i was so happy
so, as you can probably tell, I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVED IT. I LOVE SMALLVILLE AND IF THEY EVER CANCEL THE SHOW I WILL HAVE NO REASON TO LIVE.

Thank God Chloe is alive, & also for bumping her up! I hope to see her in the 2nd place b4 Lex or 3rd which means after Lex. The morgue scence wasn't very emotionally, so i'm very dissapointed, but it's cool that Clark could hear her calling. Lois was alright, & Lana so so. Lex i don't what to say about him (i just wanna c his bad side)

Great episode.
Allison is fabulous. Her facial expressions and her emotions are fantastic. I really like her panic scene. Her relation with Clark is touching. I am very happy to see her in fourth place of the openning credit. She deserves it.

The first episode was ok. I didn't like that Bizarro didn't look mentally challenged. (Bizzaro hate you, Bizzaro kill people etc.) I was disappointed in not seeing the supergirl suit on Kara. I need to see the suit already, come on guys don't wait to long before you decide to put the suit in the show. I personally I think that it was a bad idea to bring Kara into the show, but I like the person you pick to play the part, shortie is hot. I'm glad Lana is not dead, but why reveal her so soon that was stupid. To bad I like Cloe if not I would of killed her off the show a long time ago. I know it's this not relevant, but Waner Brothers suck you guys just love messing up DC Superheroes. Heroes on nbc are winning with the ratings. You need to spice it up a little more. This comment here is to the one who mentioned the School thing: First of Clark is a being from another world. On his way to earth he was programmed with education from the other know 26 galaxies as stated by his Father Jor-el and again when he was in the cave and the beam of light went through him. Also his training is apart of his education. Any who WB stops f-ing up the Superman and Batman characters I hate when you do that. Like in superman returns why in the hell did you give him a son? I hope you guys do well with the JLA movie although you already f up by not casting Tom for the part of superman arrgh I hate it damn it. You guys didn't even try to get Bale and Routh in it. Another word of advice for Waner brother start doing cameos of other Characters in your movies it is after all the dc universe. Last night's episode was awesome...just really predictable though...I think what's going to happen is that Lois and Clark are going to start to become an item because everyone thinks that Lana's dead. As this happens, Lana will finally reveal to Clark that she's alive, starting another love triangle.

I thought last nights episode was great. I can't wait till next weeks.=)

the trailer was quite good, but then i watched the show last night, and i thought it was actually boring - just too slow. i preferred the opener for season 6.

Although, i was quite happy to see kristin's beautiful face at the end.

did tom look thinner to anyone? i thought his face looked a bit thinner than in season 6. i liked his hair last night.

does anyone think it is a good idea for him to learn how to fly? idk i knew when they first started this entire show they didnt want him to but its starting to look enevitable. i think if he does learn how to fly it should be on the last show they ever make or at least the very last battle.

that was definitly lana. i knew she wasnt dead when i first saw that truck pass by her vehicle right before it blew up. it was obvious. i dont think lex knows about lana being alive but i think he will find out and track her with out her knowing. clark doesnt know she is alive yet i bet but i dont think it will take long for him to figure out. (even if it is on accident)

I thought the premiere was pretty good. I was hoping for a Lana death, but I got dissapointed from her reveal. Its too bad. I'm getting tired of seeing the chracter. Grrr...

When are they ever going to get the Lois and Clark thing moving? When are they going to get him flying? How about working at the planet?

College years? We now have a low intellegent Superman? It would have been nice to hear about what college he went to. Clark's education and career has not been explored. He comes off like a dumb jock drooling over the prom queen.

Overall, I thought the episode was pretty good. Clark's ability to vaperize a river was the most impressive moment. Supergirl is destined to become one of this years most rememberable nemises. After seeing her intercept Bizarro's body in mid air, I knew she was going to become this season's villan.

All Hail Smallville!

How can you go wrong with an episode that features Tom Welling playing 2 roles? And he completely rocked them both.

I had some quibbles, but I loved the Clark stuff. This show is always at its best when it remembers its ABOUT CLARK. And the Bizarro/Lex stuff was totally awesome.

Loved the revamped credits as well.

I thought the episode was gonna be good, but it was AWESOME!

Lois, Chloe and the little boy (in "Phantom") trapped in the dam and Clark saving them was perfect timing.

Who is that mysterious person that took Lionel? Is is a fisherman or a dangerous criminal?

Clark and Bizarro was the highlight of the episode. They had some good battles.
Hope to see Bizarro again...

Martian Manhunter is back and he was great now that he's been healed. I'd like to see more of him this season.

My favorite scene was Bizarro meets Lois at the Luthor mansion and tries to make a pass at her. That was funny when he grab Lois' ass and gets slapped by her.

I just knew Lana was alive and well, but how did she get all the way to China? Did Oliver help her? 'Cause if he did, then more power to him.

Lex did the right thing by going to jail. I thought he was gonna head for the hills, but he got cuffed. Kara saving Lex was the revelation that Lex needs to find clarity. Let's hope his mean streak doesn't come back.

I'm glad Chloe's back. And loved her line talking about Clark needs to start flying! Speaking of flying, what about Kara? She's hot! She's gonna make Smallville hot again.

Season 7 will be SUPER! Live with it.

The permiere was awesome!!!! I loved it. Allison Mack was great :)The scene with Clark grabbing Lois's ass so funny. And the way they revealed Lana was still alive awesome. I just know this season is going to be so good. I can't wait til next weeks episode.

Fantastic first episode. I loved it when Clark vaporized the river. I'm glad he's getting in touch with his inner alien. Throwing in the sun regen thing is pretty cool. It was good to see Martian Manhunter. Although I don't know how Clark got in touch with him. I hope Chloe's powers are more than Resurrecting someone, then she's dead for a day. I had a nice chuckle when Chloe told him he needs to work on flying.

the show permiere was beyond great.i was waited all summer for fall to arrive to see the new season of smallville to come on!!!from the begin to the end i was clue to the tv smallville fan forever.

last nights episode of smallville was awsome. i think everybody knew lana wasn't dead. that was very good of to stage her desth but think about clark he must be really sad and angry. i guess sooner or later lana will return to smallville with that blond wig of hers she actually look good in the blond wig

It wasn't the best premiere ever :/ However, it wasn't as sucky as the ENTIRE last season (except select episodes), so I feel kind of neutral towards it. THe morgue scene kind of let me down that Clark and Chloe didn't show enough emotion, but I loved how they set up Chloe's future storyline and I hope she can let Clark in on what she's feeling. Lois didn't do anything to annoy me terribly, but her existence just bothers me a bit. Lana in a wig made me laugh, it really just looked... unique, to put it nicely. OH YEAH, woot! on Allison being before Erica in the credits. It's about time she gets the credit she deserves for being there since season 1 and being a fan favorite *ahem*twoteenchoiceawards*ahem*

Almost no Lana is a good thing!

This episode had everything! Great effects, great story and great acting. This one hour packed a bigger punch than the whole SR movie. This is why I LOVE Smallville!

MY SHOW IS BACK!

First, Allison being bumped up to the 4th spot was a clear sign to me that at least to some degree we are being listened to and I'm thrilled.

The episode was fun (and funny at times..even if it was unintentional (Lana in a blond wig?!ha!)).

Tom did a wonderful job as both Bizarro and Clark. Never looked sexier, I was drooling.

Allison! I <3 you! She was wonderful as well! The morgue scene..the crying..the death certificate burning? You RULE! I got teary-eyed when she was burning her death certificate. I think crying for Lana was appropriate and I liked Clark trying to be the strong one.

The Chlark? I loved it. Clark's reaction to her death was right on. The way he was disoriented and lost...trying to fight tears. And hearing her through all those hospital sounds, LOVE it!

I wasn't disappointed with the morgue scene. Clark was relieved, he was sighing and wide-eyed. Chloe tried to avoid the issue. Chloe telling Clark to turn around was way cute and her running behind the screen was precious :)

The hug! aww so cute, so long...video material ;)

I actually love Chloe avoiding the issue, its in her character. She gets into everyone's business, but she isn't willing to open up about herself just as easy. I loved how she cut Clark off with the "Thank you," she's just trying to avoid the issue completely. (I've done the same plenty of times, if you avoid the issue...you pretend the issue doesn't exist, not healthy..but human).

Lex, blah. Why is he in love with Lana? blah. Looked cute though!

I'm loving Supergirl and even with her limited screen time, I'd watch a show about her.

The last scenes of the big 4 + SG were amazing! Our key characters dealing with what just happened, loving it. (I'll even forgive the clana stuff because they excluded Nois).

In conclusion, I loved it.

Allison Mack is totally awesome. Best acting on the show hands down, she makes the show every week.

OK, Lana is SO dead. That better just be a Lex experiment in Shanghai...I think someone at the network wanted to keep Kristen on somehow (can't fault them there) but seriously....Lana is dead, sad though it may be, it had to happen. She better be dead!

I already had my suspicious that lana was not dead. That was classic misdirection. I may be offcourse but I have a burning inclination that Clark knows that Lana is alive, that is to say that that was even Lana in the last scene. I can't explain it but I just know.
